I lost my rental car key at Magic Mountain. The price quoted to me for replacement by AAA seemed a bit high so I started calling around. Safeway's price was competitive. I talked to Mahmoud on the phone and he said he could be ready in half an hour. He called back a few minutes later and asked if I wanted to ride with him to the Magic Mountain parking lot. Wow - what a pleasant surprise and nicety! As we drove there, he informed me what we would be happening and very clearly also let me know he needed more information from my rental car place and even talked to them on the phone. Once we got there, he let me sit in A.C. comfort of the work van while he efficiently and successfully made my replacement key. Receipt was created and emailed to me in the parking lot so I had my needed documentation. It took 20 minutes tops. This was WONDERFUL and FRIENDLY service. I highly recommend!!!! read more

Wish there was a spot for 0 stars! I can't STAND THIS GUY! I see people saying they paid $25 - $35 for a key made for their car. That's nothing!!?! This jerk charged $130 for my car key!!! It didn't feel very secure to begin with but life got in the way before I could get back to tell him & next thing you know the key busted right in my ignition one morning! I went right back to tell him I needed him to replace it for free & he said he would not do that & he wanted me to print out my credit card statement to prove I purchased it from him then he would give me a "discount" on another key! Why the heck would I want to purchase another faulty crap key from this cutting corners jerk?! I went over to Valencia & Newhall locksmith on camp plenty in Canyon Country & they replaced my key for $23 and it felt very secure unlike when Safeway handed me my key. Valencia & Newhall have great customer service! I would highly recommend them over this idiot!!! You better believe I let him know I was going to leave him a bad review on Yelp. I called Safeway Locksmith to unlock my vehicle. Service did not arrive. I received a call that they were unable to find my location/address after 40 minutes. I sent a link to Google maps with my location (the same I used to get to my location), but they still were unable to find it and claimed it was getting late/too far. This contradicts the statement on their website that 24 hour service is available. The location was 12 miles from the address of the office provided online. If there were 10 stars I would give 10! I got locked out of my house with my two infant twins in the house and needless to say I was frantic. I called a few other locksmiths in the area and told them my situation and they said "sorry, we can't be out for a few hours, just break a window".
