    Fresh & colorful flowers

The floral selection at this location is impressive. I received a beautiful bouquet of colorful flowers. I was surprised to find out this stunning arrangement came from Safeway. The bouquet was among their pre-made selections.

$16 a pound for this. Yeah buddy!

Rude, overworked, underpaid, and under trained employees at these prices? This location can go to hell in a shopping cart. I came in for two things. Deli meat and deli cheese. The meat is the worst cut I have ever seen. Last time I got soft cheese the pieces all stuck together and it was very difficult to use. I asked the red haired lady at the deli counter(no one wears name tags at this store) if she could put paper between the slices(you know like they used to when cheese was 30% of the price it is now), and she just about blew a head gasket. She said something about "that's not how corporate tells us to do it", made a huge stink but did it anyway. I pointed out to the cashier how crappily the meat was cut and he just shrugged his shoulders. I pointed out that this location has 2 stars and he said "the reviewers are just a bunch of complainers, nobody likes grocery stores". It's a bad situation. Custers are paying the most money they have ever paid for the worst quality they have ever received. The employees are working harder than they have ever worked for the lowest wages(relative to the cost of living) they have ever received. This broken business model just needs to hurry up and finish caving in on its self. Customer service is dead at this location. The only type of business that used to have this many unsatisfied customers was a collection agency.

Made a quick stop here to get some flowers. I like they have a variety of florals available. It's a quick one stop shop and gal who rang me up was friendly and corrected the sale price for me. Got a water fill up at Sb.

Their wine bar is fantastic, and good-priced, and it was fun to watch the last of the World Cup here today. If you're looking for something special or hard to find, this is the place, much like the old Pastaworks was on Hawthorne. They really shine on their produce, pasta and fresh meats here, and there's always something new, but I love that you can count on the bakery for your focaccia and other fresh breads. Cheese case is like Rue Cler, Paris--so much selection and they will tell you about each one of them. Don't be afraid to just ask a lot of questions. I wish that they did some little items in the bakery, one of my fondest memories from childhood was going to Pastaworks with my dad and getting a breadstick, probably eating it before we even paid (we did), as we strolled around, and where's the peanut sauce for pasta, another favorite of the old days, yup, I'm old. Can't say enough good things about this place, it can add up though as others have mentioned, but, if you keep to a list or just slow the roll on the impulse buy, it's actually reasonable and you know you're getting what you're paying for. I've never regretted a purchase here or thought it unfair. I mean, it says Fine Foods right there in the name...:) Thank you for the amazing ingredients for dinner tonight, cheers!

Would be five stars if lady at the checkout showed some basic customer service instead of being passive aggressive and rude. I had a VERY full day - seriously, VERY full... I had taken a friend with mobility issues to a play, to dinner and then to Chinese New Year at the gardens. I was determined to get to a birthday party an I refuse to go empty handed. Some of the other attendees were vegan and I know that with New Seasons I do not even have to search for options. Sure enough - I pull up and they even have a sign advertising that they have plenty of vegan options. I had not considered bringing my friend blooms but had to. You walk into that floral and just have to buy something because WOW. I saw gorgeous branches too! Confession time...I was still trying to get Yule down and put away with a mass Spring cleaning and refresh. I grabbed a bunch of curly Willow and blossoming cherry branches - and (spoiler alert) IT WORKED... I promise you will find a picture I attached of them in my living rom for a humble brag. I also got a GORGEOUS bouquet for the birthday Queen for under $25. Snacks easily acquired! Picking just a few was more challenging than anything. And I love that this location has their shopping mall section all together. From stuffed animals to cute and creative books, candles...I have so much I find here and buy because it is quality, unique and fantastic. And then I see this section of wood veneer postcards - so Portland and so AMAZING! A local artist of incredible talent. My dear friend, the birthday Queen happens to be of the fellow Gothy persuasion... Another customer comments about the postcards and says she is a huge fan of the Little Gold Fox cards and asks if I have seen the cards... which she is pointing at... THERE WAS A BAT! These are amazing (again, look at my photos)...I grabbed a stack for my friend, for me to give to other friends - I am framing one and hanging it with all the art I have up at my house. All the staff here were amazing - although I genuinely have that experience consistently with any New Seasons location. People want to help! Even the other customers want to help! How nice is that?!? I definitely think this store may officially win (in my mind) for their arrangement of everything. It was just laid out so nicely.
