When I confirmed that I was, she informed me about Harris Teeter's Thursday promotion for customers aged 55 and above, which helped me save some money on my purchase. I was delighted to learn about this benefit and truly appreciated Linda's attentiveness, professionalism, and willingness to share information that I might not have known otherwise. Never have I come here and the store is poorly stocked or not well-organized. This Harris Teeter also offers a huge selection of nutritional supplements and unique household items that you would have to go elsewhere to find such as a local Target, Walmart or Vitamin Shoppe store.... All under one roof! The deli, bakery and hot food bar sections are quite impressive with lots of items and goods to choose from. There are weekly meal and lunch deals offered as well....all starting around $5 bucks! But, to my surprise...one of the highlights that stood out the most is that this place conveniently has a full bar upstairs! There is a modern bar and wine shop upstairs with both offering a great selection of libation and beverages to purchase. It offers weekly happy hour specials and every day $3 dollar pints. I mean, who knew!? How many grocery stores that you patron can you say have a bar or this type of offering? In all, this Harris Teeter store location is quite impressive. The sales are great, staff are helpful and there's convenient parking on the premises of the store. The only downside I would say about this store is that the layout can be a bit overwhelming to navigate. The store is very well organized, but you do feel like you're in a bit of a maze with so many aisles to maneuver in order to find items. And God forbid., you forgot one item once you're at the cashier checkout -- that's located in the back of the store..... You will definitely have bit of a stretch to go back and get the item given the size of the store! Lol. Nevertheless, no big deal for me. CVS let down their community today…read more We had a snowstorm (not that bad-cars and plow trucks on the roads and we had a weeks notice) and they are closed. This is an essential business. People were not able to get essential items like medication, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Why is it that Mom's Grocery Store, Chipotle, O'Sullivan's, Liberty Tavern, and coffee shops (Northside Social, Starbucks) could come to work today, but CVS couldn't manage? Not only were these other businesses open, but their employees were out shoveling the sidewalks. What soft times we live in. Not showing up to work to sell basic necessities puts the community at risk and is shameful. I will be supporting those business who decided to show up for their community and will not be shopping at CVS.

With Joule I never have to wait as it is always in stock for me. I will never go back to a chain pharmacy again. The customer service is excellent and from drop off to pickup I have never waited more than 10 minutes. Joule is quick, efficient and most importantly a reliable choice when I need my medication immediately. In the past I have spent hours calling multiple locations of a chain pharmacy to see if they had my medications in stock. Each location cannot see the inventory of others within the chain. It is very frustrating, time consuming and in the end leaves you bewildered that in this day and age some corporations are so far behind. I can honestly say that Joule has been a delight to go to and would recommend to anyone that is tired of chain pharmacy's where you are just another number. Joule is like a mom and pop store that know you personally and always give the impression that they truly care about your health and well being.
