Never have I come here and the store is poorly stocked or not well-organized. This Harris Teeter also offers a huge selection of nutritional supplements and unique household items that you would have to go elsewhere to find such as a local Target, Walmart or Vitamin Shoppe store.... All under one roof! The deli, bakery and hot food bar sections are quite impressive with lots of items and goods to choose from. There are weekly meal and lunch deals offered as well....all starting around $5 bucks! But, to my surprise...one of the highlights that stood out the most is that this place conveniently has a full bar upstairs! There is a modern bar and wine shop upstairs with both offering a great selection of libation and beverages to purchase. It offers weekly happy hour specials and every day $3 dollar pints. I mean, who knew!? How many grocery stores that you patron can you say have a bar or this type of offering? In all, this Harris Teeter store location is quite impressive. The sales are great, staff are helpful and there's convenient parking on the premises of the store. The only downside I would say about this store is that the layout can be a bit overwhelming to navigate. The store is very well organized, but you do feel like you're in a bit of a maze with so many aisles to maneuver in order to find items. And God forbid., you forgot one item once you're at the cashier checkout -- that's located in the back of the store..... You will definitely have bit of a stretch to go back and get the item given the size of the store! Lol. Nevertheless, no big deal for me. Then I was transfered to the deli department where we were very disorganized. We would often slip and fall since no one would clean up after we had done each order. I also often ended up not being able to find the right cheeses and meats. Then the manager quit because he had to much stress. Finally I was transferred to the front end where it was the most depressing. I had nothing to do any I had trouble bagging the grocieries. Often I ended up feeling all one and getting the shopping carts from the parking lot. It was difficult to get them on an off of the elevator. Often the manager would decide to blame all of his problems on me. I would never work her again.

And that's every time it is open. There is no quick in and out. Plan on waiting 30 minutes or so just to pick up your Rx. And each customer takes several minutes since the pharmacy tech is slow as can be and disorganized. They have no pride in their work. This is not a one time occurrence but many times. Unfortunately, with my insurance I need to use this pharmacy. On top of that, prescriptions take more than a day to fill. They don't answer the phone. If they do call you back, they will promise one time and just flat out lie every time. Jonathan Phillips who "manages" the pharmacy should be embarrassed this is the ship he captains. And the store management also should be embarrassed. Besides the pharmacy, the prices for most things are 2-3x that of Harris Teeter up the street. Pick somewhere else, hopefully your insurance allows it.

People were not able to get essential items like medication, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Why is it that Mom's Grocery Store, Chipotle, O'Sullivan's, Liberty Tavern, and coffee shops (Northside Social, Starbucks) could come to work today, but CVS couldn't manage? Not only were these other businesses open, but their employees were out shoveling the sidewalks. What soft times we live in. Not showing up to work to sell basic necessities puts the community at risk and is shameful. I will be supporting those business who decided to show up for their community and will not be shopping at CVS.

I then waited nearly half an hour before giving up entirely. I had tried to refill a medication using the CVS app a few days before, but it wasn't eligible until this day. I kept checking the app all day and it never updated from "in process" so I wanted to know if there was an issue. When I was finally able to get them this week, only one person was working. I was second in line but still had to wait more than 20 minutes because the pharmacist had to prepare and administer multiple vaccines. 6 or 7 people got in line behind me before I was seen, but 3 of them gave up and went to shop first before it was my turn to get my medication.
