I've spent the whole day traveling and all I wanted to do was remove my makeup, wash my face, and get ready for bed. Fortunately, this Walgreens was right across the street from my hotel. I made my way to the beauty and skin-care section and found a whole bunch of full size makeup remover products... wipes and solutions. Not wanting to risk the same thing happening again, I decided to forego another bottle of solution. But I didn't want a large container of wipes, because I already have plenty of makeup remover at home. I asked the sales associate where the travel sized items were. He pointed me in the right direction, adding that he didn't think they sold travel-sized makeup remover wipes. Ha! You, sir, have never removed makeup before so you don't know what I know. And what I know is that they DEFINITELY sell makeup remover wipes in travel-size packages. Armed with all the knowledge I needed, I confidently strolled over to the aisle and *surprise!*, I found exactly what I wanted; A travel-size pouch of makeup remover wipes. No risk of spillage, and they'll all be gone by the time I head out for my return flight. Perfect. I resisted the urge to waive my purchase triumphantly at the sales associate as I strolled out of the door, satisfied.

To go and add money to pay a bill before a late charge is applied at midnight. The only Walgreens open is this one besides Castro's 24/7 Walgreens. I proceeded to use the ATM to withdraw funds and fell in line at the registers to add the funds onto a specific card/bank. I was behind two other customers when I was next in line. Walked up the the counter for some lady with her back turned yelling across the room to the security to lock the door. For like 15 seconds turnt around and with a urgently raised tone said "hey, hey, hey, you can't do that we're already closed, there's no more shopping allowed, there's no more shopping allowed" reiterating her point with me being right in front of her I began to explain I was at the ATM before the doors were closed and I came to the line to add money which is the only reason I came to Walgreens was to reload my card. She then proceeded to say " it doesn't matter if you weren't in line at the time that we the doors then I can't let you in the line because it's not fair to everyone else" I literally looked at her and said I was already in the line while you had your back was facing the customer and were yelling at the security guard. I understand I was the last one in line but obviously there may be some delusional thinking or blindness because the doors closed and I was last in line so yeah I couldn't reload my card and had to leave. Terrible customer service! I don't remember if it was management may as well be as she was supposedly calling the shots for presumptive closure of the store with customer still inside not allowing them to check out. Shouldn't matter if I had to reload money on a card or purchase something if I was clearly in the store before they closed the doors, then I feel that they intentionally didn't want to have to recount their drawer or change their nightly deposit routine (yeah I've worked in retail before too) ...rude...and ignorant people

In the app, I was able to look at reviews and do my research prior to visiting. When I arrived, I knew what aisles to visit to locate the items. The sale price was stellar, the inventory stated was present. The store was clean, well organized and stocked, and the service received was amazing. One employee helped me with a falling box of crackers. Another employee helped locate an unmarked aisle and unlock the display case to obtain the earbuds. Both employees were friendly with a welcoming exchange - I greatly appreciated the service received. I was able to check out my tech and crackers in electronics without hassle and immediate service. I would definitely return again to shop for my wants and needs. It is about a 7-10 minute walk from Montgomery Bart (depending on what exit you take to reach street level).

When you have time ... to shop ' regularly' you know when the sales price, is a ' sale price!!' No one is patrolling to SEE if you CAN find anything. There are just the people who open the cases who offer NO ADVICE about the product. I also go to pharmacy. Manager cold; not, cool. Pharmacy ALWAYS overwhelmed!! They send you to the people who are supposed to answer your questions; but, it's OBVIOUS that they don't WANT to be bothered. It doesn't help when their MANAGER has the same attitude. Bathroom out of order. When open, rarely clean. Store relatively clean. Selection. They rarely have variance of selection for products. It's the same product over and over. The TV , computer section is the best; which is not saying anything. They are usually POLITE. Much more than the check out clerks. But, the TV , computer section doesn't offer real SALES products Value That's a joke, at Target

Today you will see singles hanging at restaurants and bars on Mission street at on Valencia during the holiday season. Back in the days Christmas in the Mission meant families meeting up and enjoying a Christmas meal. Today as adults pot lucks and Friendsmas are the celebrations added to mix along with other traditional and non traditional celebrations. There is a place on Mission street to still grab that last minute or last second Christmas gift before your first name becomes Ebenezer and last name Scrooge. It's the 23rd and Mission Walgreens. On a Winter stroll on Mission street I had to grab a last minute gift due to the power outage in San Francisco this past weekend. In 2025 San Francisco has lost 12 of the Walgreens due to closure. Inside this Walgreens you will find gift cards ,drinks, candy and toys. This Walgreens is still open on Christmas Day so you have no excuse not to buy a gift even if you procrastinated again this year. Come here to get materials to create the Holiday Christmas "scene "they have seasonal items although every day in San Francisco is "Halloween" ever since I was a "teen" I would buy my last minute gifts on Christmas Day at a "Walgreen" Something different about Christmas in the "Mission" it's the different customs and different "addition" like dim sum, lumpia , poutine, KFC and tamales in the" kitchen" with diverse cultures creating a new Christmas Eve and Christmas Day "San Francisco tradition"
