We went to LOOK (only) at a vehicle we saw online on a Sunday afternoon. Right away, Sam came out to answer our questions without being pushy or overbearing. He later told us he'd been at that dealership around 3 months. I was impressed since he was extremely knowledgeable about the various models and features. He obviously did his homework. He was SUPER patient with me - even after I eyed one of the vehicles on the showroom floor and expressed my interest. He offered - more than once - to bring it out of the showroom so I could take it for a test drive. I finally gave it and LOVED the second vehicle. We worked out a trade in that worked for us, as well as a purchase price without a lot of back & forth haggling. Everyone there was SUPER nice and I'm pretty sure my husband made some life long friends, hahaha! Overall, great experience. The experience was 5-stars, but having to go through a car buying process at all is miserable.

Brought my car in for an oil change and state inspection. Inspite of having a late morning appt and being told that it would be done in 1-1.5 hours, waited for over 2.5 hours (45 mins of that was waiting for the car wash). Brown's service has generally been good in the past but it seems like no one seems to really care about a waiting customer and I had to chase down the service advisor! Disappointed but hoping they would improve in this area next time I'm here, as there are lots of nearer, cheaper and faster car service locations in northern Virginia that would happily take my business.

Just got a '21 Rogue used and decided to do a major service b/c prior owner was rental firm - got awesome deal like $8k under MSRP compared to new. They put new tires but clearly didn't align so did this and cvt fluid which is a sensitive area for Nissan. Advisor helped me pick service package which was cheaper than all the other services separately. Also pointed out I didn't have inspection which was great bc got tags recently and they didn't remind me to get inspection. Small facility and decided to work at Wegmans which is short walk away. Price better than others in area. Customer service was great.

1/26/20...it took time and patience, but I finally bought my new car.

1/26/20 After visiting one dealership which happens to be a Brown's Nissan Dealership also, we went to the better one in Sterling Virginia.   I had met Emaka Eledu aka Aimée, because his first name gets butchered so much. Emaka, had showed me several different options of the Nissan Kick. This is the new version the Nissan  Juke  which is now no longer made. The Nissan Kick has features  of the Juke, but doesn't have the tight space I felt when I test drove a Juke a few years ago. I found the Nissan Kick to have a beautiful body that rivals the likes of Jennifer Tilly and Sabina Olivia Mardones who is better known to the world as Olivia O'lovely. Upon looking around for the right car, I settled on one with heated seats. Aside from that, I wasn't worried about all the other special features the vichele had to offer.  Okay that is not true, but this type of SUV doesn't come as a Four Weel Driver or All Weel Driver...unless i custom make it. I don't have the funds for that option right now. The color of vichele that had the heated seats were white, an ugly champagne metallic color, silver and one other color I didn't want.   The silver Nissan Kick was the one I wanted. I did not see the instant rebate discount listed on the vichele, but it was broken down so that most people could understand the process.   Emaka was working the details with us and two other people between the paperwork waits on buying a new car.   I am glad I don't buy a whole lot of cars because the wait time is a pain in the ass when waiting for the financial person to close the deal. When it was all said and done, the car was paid off in full.  The only thing missing from this new car is the Booklet which Emaka said he would have when I return in a few days...I will return and I will have that driver's manual for the vichele...downloading the book is not what I wish to do...somethings need to be old school. Aside from not having the driver's manual with the new car, this experience here at Brown's Dulles Nissan  was better than the Brown's in Fairfax.

When we arrived, the vehicle wasn't even available for a proper test drive because it was still being prepared. The sales staff told us we should go ahead and complete the paperwork because the vehicle could be sold to someone else if we waited. They also told us that if we drove it afterward and didn't like it, we could simply change our minds. Based on those assurances, we moved forward before having the opportunity to properly test drive the vehicle. We were also told the rear brakes would be replaced and the windshield would be repaired/replaced before we took delivery. Because of those promises, we waited about a week before picking up the vehicle. When we finally received it, neither repair had been completed. After taking ownership, I began noticing a significant vibration at highway speeds. I took the vehicle for a Maryland Safety Inspection, where additional issues were identified, including worn upper control arms. The rear brakes measured approximately 3/32", indicating they had not been replaced as we had been told. While further diagnosing the vibration, I also discovered a broken driveshaft bolt at the rear differential. This experience left me questioning how thoroughly the vehicle was inspected and whether the repairs I was told would be completed were ever actually performed. I understand that used vehicles can have unexpected issues, but I expect honesty and accurate representation. Customers should be able to fully inspect and test drive a vehicle before signing paperwork, and promised repairs should be completed before delivery--not simply promised. My advice to anyone considering purchasing here is to insist on a complete test drive, get every promised repair in writing, verify the work has actually been completed before taking delivery, and consider having the vehicle independently inspected.

Outstanding Sales & Admin Team, but Service Department Needs Major Work…read more I recently purchased a 2024 VW Atlas from AutoNation Honda, and my experience was a tale of two very different departments. First, the bright spots: The sales and administrative team were fantastic. My salesperson, Kavveh "Kevin" Azizsired, was absolute class and made his part of the process seamless and smooth. Ms. Lynh in finance stayed connected with me throughout the whole transaction; while financing through my own credit union took longer than it should have to finalize, she stayed on top of it and got the job done. Additionally, Ms. Delilah in titling was exceptional, her communication was proactive, and she made sure my license plate transfer went off without a hitch. Unfortunately, my experience with the service department completely overshadowed an otherwise great buying process. Four days after buying the car, I noticed severe, uncontrollable shaking when braking on the highway. I called to get it checked out, but after being bounced around, Ms. Lynh and Kevin stepped in to help me get a 7:30 AM appointment for Wednesday, July 1st. I arrived promptly at 7:30 AM. After sitting in the waiting area working remotely for three and a half hours, I realized no one had updated me. At 11:00 AM, I went looking for my assigned advisor, Ryan, who wasn't at his desk. A helpful female service advisor noticed me, stepped up (even though I wasn't her customer), and tracked down Moe from service. Moe was honest with me: my car hadn't been touched in 3.5 hours. Moe took ownership, took the car on a quick test drive, confirmed the rotor issue, and expedited the repair. However, between waiting for the work to be finished and getting checked out, I didn't leave the dealership until 1:30 PM. I spent a total of 6 hours sitting in the waiting room for a rotor resurfacing on a car I had owned for less than a week. My laptop battery died, and I lost nearly an entire day of work productivity watching other cars come and go. Bottom Line: Go see Kevin, for buying a car, he will take great care of you. But management severely needs to address the scheduling, communication, and workflow breakdowns in the service department.

One star. My experience with Ted Britt Chevrolet in Sterling, Virginia, was more than…read moreunpleasant--it completely sucked. I live in Massachusetts and spent a significant amount of time trying to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. I initially worked with a salesperson, but suddenly learned that he had been fired. After that, the entire process became even more confusing and frustrating. I was sent multiple versions of purchase and sales agreements that appeared inaccurate or misleading to me. It felt as though the dealership was creating excuses because they did not really want to sell me the vehicle in the first place. I already had financing approved through my own credit union, but the dealership would not provide the proper documentation my credit union needed. Instead, I felt that they were misleading me and pressuring me to finance through the dealership. I was also told that the title would be sent to my credit union to secure the financing. I later discovered that the dealership apparently did not have the title to the vehicle at that time. This caused additional confusion and made me question the honesty and transparency of the entire transaction. Because I was purchasing the vehicle from out of state, I paid out of pocket for a pre-purchase inspection at a Lexus dealership. Ted Britt Chevrolet gave me a hard time about arranging the inspection, even though it was reasonable for me to have the vehicle checked before traveling from Massachusetts. The Lexus inspection found problems with the headlights and the driver's seat heating and cooling ventilation fan motor. Despite these issues and the repair costs involved, the dealership was unwilling to offer a reasonable discount on the vehicle. There were also unexpected fees that were not clearly explained to me beforehand. The final straw was the general manager, who was extremely rude and told me that I should find another car. After all the time, effort, money, financing arrangements, and inspection costs I invested, I found the general manager's response completely unprofessional and disrespectful. This was a terrible experience from beginning to end. Based on my experience, I would STAY AWAY  FROM TED  BRIT CHEVROLET. Anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership--especially an out-of-state buyer--should get every detail in writing, carefully review every document, independently verify the title, and obtain a pre-purchase inspection before paying anything. Also don't let them bully you into financing with them

After finishing with my oil change, he told me there were 6 things that needed to be fixed. One of them was a filter replacement for a $145.00. If you think I'm kidding, I'll post the pictures. I took my car to my regular mechanic who is my friend. All of those things that he said that I needed, don't need to be done until I hit 50,000 miles. My car only has 30 430 miles. I'm not sure if he thought that he could take advantage of me because I was a woman. My mechanic also laughed at the prices & said they were outrageous. They don't even charge labor to replace the filters. Ps I can buy the filters & replace them myself. I'll have to say I will never come back to this place ever again. This is in response to the owner's response. Even if that was the case there are 3 other services that you wanted to charge me for that were also not needed. Also, no response to a $145 charge for a filter replacement, which is ridiculous. The way this economy is now and everything is already outrageously expensive due to this administration. You need to stop taking advantage of people. Andrea, we recommend servicing CVT transmission fluid every 30K miles because they fail quite often and sometimes with very low miles; Jason did a wonderful job educating and communicating this. Even if your friend doesn't agree, have it performed anyway :) We wish you the best and hope you find a shop that better aligns with you.
