First hour was uneventful, and I got a single drink at the bar. When I returned to the bar things were getting unpleasant. A fight erupted near me, not sure why. Then a very drunk guy appeared slightly behind me in line, yelling and being very abrasive. He then got right in front of me, continuing to yell, and grabbed my breast. I guess he saw my horrified expression so he started apologizing while continuing to touch me. I tried to get away but it was packed. I tried to get the bartender but was ignored. The drunk then started to chew me out for "having an attitude" as I tried to move away...calling me an asshole and a lovely variety of derogatory terms while still touching me and saying he wasn't hitting on me. I yelled to the bartender that the guy grabbed my breast. She just said sorry and told the guy to leave, while the other bartender, I guess oblivious to what had happened, yelled I love you to the drunk. The first bartender finally got security and they removed the guy after a lot of back and forth. No one tried to help me. I finally pushed out of the crowd (without my credit card) and found the manager, who seemed very disinterested, and just ran off to get an "incident report." When he returned I said I wanted my card. He said he'd cash me out. I said I had no desire to pay to be assaulted. He disappeared again and snottily gave me the card. I again asked for the owner. He told me he was "busy." I said great then my lawyer would be in touch. Owner magically appeared, I asked if he cared what happened, he said he needed to focus on his wife's birthday, literally refusing to hear what happened for even ONE MINUTE. I called the cops and spent 90 minutes in their sketchy parking lot waiting and talking with the police. Apparently the drunk is a regular. And patrons of this hell hole don't like cops, so I hope the police presence sent a message that SEXUAL ASSAULT and VERBAL ABUSE are NOT OK. I guess if you're a big tough biker type you will have no worries here, but women especially...BEWARE. read more

I have been coming to this bar for 4 years now. My wife and I recently started coming together. Tanya the daytime bartender is awesome . We were 86d out of the bar because the rude staff wouldn't call 911 for me and I yell at the bartender. Which ended up my wife having a TIA. 4 days later they had our regular bartender 86 both of us, but yet the bartender who refused to call, was fired. Just know if you go in, they will discriminate against you. If your not part of the family click they will screw you. They go through so many employees because they only pay minimum wage and cater to a certain group. We did nothing wrong except ask for h9elp and was denied it from bar staff. Not professional at all. Your bartender knew my wife was in the hospital and still served her alcohol after I told her no please don't. They are not friendly to the lgbtq community! Went here with my girlfriend so she could compete in the wet t-shirt contest. Inside took forever to get a drink and bartender friends just walking behind bar telling them what they want cut the line, but hey i get bartenders work there ass off so not to be expected. However, girlfriend participated in the contest and after changed into a dry T-shirt. Went inside (contest was outside) and other girls recognized she was in the contest started pouring water on her while in the bar. Well bartender comes over and says we are causing a scene and need to leave. So we are good enough to participate in your contest that draws a crowd but when your own regular patrons get out of line its our fault and we have ti leave but they get to stay? My fiancée and I went here on the11th of September on a Wednesday when we went in there was nobody behind the bar. I could have walked behind the bar emptied the registers and walked out. the only bartender was outside having a cigarette I went outside to see if and when it would be possible to get a drink she said yeah and looked at me like I was asking for the moon. I was shocked at her insolence. As was my fiancée. I said nothing more went inside and waited probably 10 minutes nothing, went back out she said I was being rude bothering her, and then I'm not sure if he was the doorman or just a really creepy guy hanging out. He seemed to be there a lot maybe the bar back and they wouldn't even talk to me. My fiancée was shocked by their lack of customer service.I've never been to a bar where the bartender told you to wait a minute while she smoked a cigarette and was so rude. Creepy guy and that was my fiancé's description of him if he was working there set most of the time outside on his phone. If I was the owner of this place I would be in sensed This place is a little dive rude nasty little hole in the wall if you want to drink You should probably find somewhere else to go. I drive home by this area nearly every day, so one particularly interesting day I decided I'd stop & have a drink :) This, ladies & gentlemen, is a bars bar. It's dim, serves only alcohol (food is for pansies) & the bar tender, although very nice & accomodating, could easily double as the bouncer. I went early on a weekday so there wasn't much of a crowd. I sat at the bar, sipped on a strong drink (chased it with a coke for good measuer, lol) & watched a game on one of their tvs & no one bothered me. Relaxing doesn't begin to cover it! The bartender filled me in on what they have available if I'd like to come back: DJ at night during weekends Outside seating I think I'll do that one of these days just to update my review ;) In all honesty, what I'd really like to do is stop by early again, bring a book & a snuggy & curl up in one of their booths to drink a stout drink while I read :D Yes, I would look like a freak, but this is the kind of place were no one would really give a damn! & if they did I would tattle to the bar tender, lol! I really like this bar. The DJ who also handles karaoke is super fun. This is important to us because my husband loves, loves karaoke. We've always been welcome and have an amazing time here whether it's to watch a game, band or just play volley ball/basketball. I hear they have trash can beer pong....what?!! I would firstly like to public apologize for the review I left that was for an entirely different sports bar. I've been to Sage and Sand under the original management. It was always a cool sports bar. there's a basketball court in the back, live music, horse shoes and so forth. They used to have a great weekly poker game I would attend and served this terrific grilled zucchini! This Location is now under now management and I've heard some pretty bad stories about the transition from regulars. something about a male in management over drinking and starting confrontations. I don't visit the location anymore but I hope they do well and wish they would bring back the regular poker game. read more

This bar actually had a car towed for being left in front, because the person didn't want to drink and drive there car and got a ride. Nothing where the car was parked stated no parking or anything. Came back for car the next day and they had it towed! They claimed they had signs out that they clearly didn't, we took pics. $165.00 to pick up car. After leaving established they quickly put up there motorcycle parking signs, that clearly were not up the day before. Very shitty practice! It shouldn't cost someone 165$ to stay safe and not drink and drive. The owner " Lucy" has since avoided and not returned calls!!!!! As a loyal customer, I completely agree with Travis B. I LOVED the place and the atmosphere (especially the band) but the bartender with the beard (seems like the bar manager) was very rude to my group the past few times we've been in. I understand if you're having a bad day or you don't feel like being friendly, but this is just a rude attitude... EVERY. TIME. I'm sorry but I shouldn't feel like I'm pulling your teeth to get a pitcher ordered (especially when it's not busy at all). It's a real shame because it's a really nice place with a lot of fun to be had. From first walking into the bar I felt uncomfortable. Just didn't feel like a safe place to be. Only way I was able to get a drink was if I walked up to the bar itself. Older crowd for sure, definitely a bar for locals. The place just felt dirty and the female bartender was talking pretty inappropriate, not professional at all. It was fairly warm inside. We decided to hang out here and wanted to give this business a chance but we should have listened to the negative reviews. We had a horrible experience. Took forever to get drinks, it felt more like a dive bar and the music was so loud that we had to leave. It's one things to have fun music playing but not to the point where you have headache and can't hear one another. When we left the music was still loud a few blocks away. Not sure how this business can get away with that and how inconsiderate especially next to the military base. The bar itself is kinda a trash biker bar. They have an indoor DJ and a live band outside on the weekends. The drinks aren't badly priced but I always pay cash as one of the bartenders likes to add a little tip herself, so avoid the one with the stripper name The service is pretty slow inside, head to the outside bar for faster service. It's a bit of a dive (a plus in my book) but there is plenty of seating and SO much to do--pool, darts, volleyball, ping pong, people-watching. I freaking love this place! It is really l close to my house and it have $1 jello shots!!! Need I say more. They are open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and nightlife. The food isn't that good but the nightlife is really why people go. They have a small dance floor and have karaoke and a DJ on certain nights. Outside there is volleyball, basketball, life size beer pong, horseshoe, live bands, and corn-hole. The drinks are all reasonably prized. Went to this dive bar last night cause my cousins wanted to do some Sunday night Karaoke. The bar is close to the military base decorated with airplanes and platoon flags. They have several 50 cent pool tables, wifi and fun bar games such as horseshoes,darts, electronic bowling, etc. The drinks are cheap here, we ordered a lot, at a normal bar the tab would have been twice as much. Good place to chill with friends and surprisingly the karaoke wasn't as horrible as you would expect. I would definitely return if I lived closer because I love dives. Came to visit Phoenix to go to a Seahawk game. First time I visit the bar, my husband's second. So glad my husband brought me here. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! Where do I start... Staff is awesome - very friendly, welcoming - even to us who were dressed in Seahawk gear :). Patrons equally as friendly and social. The place itself has a great setup. You can stay inside or enjoy the great set up outside. Whether you are inside or out, you can listen to great music or enjoy one of their many tvs to watch football anywhere. Finally, the prices and food is great. Next time I am in Phoenix this will definitely be our hangout. read more

This bar is a place for everyone young and old. Its an older bar with that old bar smell. My dad drank here when he was young, Ive drank here with my dad and Ive been here with my husband also. I cant remember this bar never being here. lol The crowd tends to be more on the "biker" side with a small mix of cowboys and flyboys thrown in (since Luke Air Force Base is right next door) but everyone is always welcome. Do not let the bikes parked out front scare you off. This place is full of nice people and the regulars that chill at the bar in the daytime.Theres alot going on out back of the bar but I never really ventured out there. I came here on a Saturday afternoon for some Bloody Mary's with a friend. This place is a nice dive bar and surprisingly large in size. Perfect if you want to bring a group and host an event.
