Spoke with the owner a few times regarding prices!…read more He said they don't charge extra for next day, wow! Also been there a few times now, its close to my daughters school and so convenient. The way its set-up; you can have a CC on file so anybody can pick up your items. I am very pleased with the job on my shirts and slacks wow again! This place rocks! They offer you water from the fridge, lollipops for the kids, super fast service with a smile, very reasonable prices , better than most in town, I hope this place stays this great!

I used Tide Cleaners in Sarasota for years and had great experiences, which is why I continued…read moreusing Tide after moving to Brandon. Unfortunately, the Brandon location has been a complete disappointment. I brought in an investment piece I wear as a corporate trainer. The dress and matching belt are the same fabric and color and were cleaned together to maintain a consistent, rich black. Due to the Brandon location's boiler being down for several weeks, my items were transported to another location for cleaning. When they were returned, my matching belt was missing. I went back multiple times. They were unable to locate it. There was no resolution, no replacement, and no meaningful accountability. This is unacceptable, especially when customers are trusting you with high-quality, expensive clothing. The difference between the Sarasota and Brandon locations is stark. If you value your wardrobe, I would strongly recommend avoiding the Brandon Tide Cleaners and choosing a different location or a different cleaner altogether.

Picked up my cap today. Looks worse than it did before they cleaned it. $8.30 wasted.read more

Never again will I use Sage Cleaners for routine dry cleaning drop off! I recently dropped off 11…read morebutton down shirts, and one suit. Normally, 13 items total would have cost me $40 to $45. Upon pick-up of the order, I was charged $100.96 for 12 items. That is over a 145% mark-up in cost!!!! There was no price increase warning or notification before dropping off the articles. My belongings would have been held hostage if I didn't pay the bill! When I asked where the 13th item was, the store representative said, "Oh, it must have been a miscount on the items because I only show 12 total items in the system". I showed him the pick-up receipt that reflected "3 items" for the suit and white dress shirt, and "10 items" being all button-down shirts. The representative's only response was, "The person that you dropped them off with always miscounts items". I told him that I hand counted the items one at a time for the drop off representative, so there has to be a missing item. The only reply the Rep could say was, "well, I'll notify the shop and ask them if there were any new orphans to find out if one may have been yours". So in addition to having to pay a service increase of more than 140%, I also lost a garment that, no doubt, cost in excess of $100! Never again! It is a shame that after Sage bought out Seville Cleaners, their price increases have gouged their customers. The staff have, for the most part, been very helpful, but they have to be getting a lot of negative comments from their long term loyal customers. Sage Cleaners has bought out most of the dry-cleaning centers in our area, but I'll be damned if I'm going to pay an average of $200 per month on routine dry cleaning of button-down shirts! Time to find another reliable dry cleaner.
