Check with your dental insurance BEFORE paying anything out of pocket to them!!!! Many people are waiting for refunds because they were charged for services not rendered and services that were covered by their insurance. They tried to charge me nearly $300 for a deep cleaning, claiming my insurance was only going to pay $100. I checked with my insurance and I get 2 free cleanings a year! RUN!!! This place is total ripoff! Over a month waiting for upper dentures. I made several phone calls inquiring about them. ZERO callbacks from office. It was obvious they couldn't find the dentures. I had to fight for a refund...which was processed. As a credit to card I used to pay with. That balance was paid 2 months ago so credit does me no good. I'm still waiting for call from corporate!! My neighbor had been going there for years and she recently had issues with same office. ZERO STARS. COMPLETE RIP OFF. BUYER BEWARE. I got a root canal and crown. Just one. Just one tooth. $2,5074.95. Signs scream: "Save 65%". That's if you pay $180 for their "plan". Which is $180 for nothing. Just to make it look like a savings of 65% so quite naturally everyone pays the $180 for nothing and there is no real 65% savings. While discussing price with Office Manager a mistake of $400 was misquoted. When I asked why the difference he says: "Would you rather pay $1,800 or $1,400? Very nasty and slick at the mouth. Where to start, this office is one of the best I've ever been to. I started going there last yr and low and behold needed the hated root canal. I believe it was Dr Germann who performed this painlessly. Needless to say I was impressed. I've had 3 crowns done there and again with amazing artistry. Dr Rafiq is amazing, explaining everything she was doing. Now my favorite dental assistant Neyra, again amazingly gentle and great at her job. The one person I visit the most is Nicole the hygienist and again super at her job. Last but not least is Aydee the office general. One more great front desk employee Rae. Office experience I taught was good. But to many things that came as red flags. Misplaced my insurance card, overcharged me before they even started any work. was too quick for you to have them start working on you before you get a correct estimate. Telling you that what figures your insurance company is telling you is incorrect? What? To many things went wrong, I can't even list them all... I was thinking if they can't get it right before they start any work on me? Imagine if they did? ‍don't even want to think about it... needless to say I will not be going back to any Sage dental offices and will not recommend it to anyone I know. The quality of care I received from them before any services was rendered was unacceptable. The only two thing I can say the young lady that did my x-rays, she was friendly the dentist that look at my X-rays and told me what needed to be done good customer service. The entire staff is nothing short of amazing. Arty is about as sweet as they come, caring and friendly, and a great sense of humor. She also runs a tight ship at the front. Dr. Rappaport, Rachel, the Hygienist Michelle and Dr. Mendozza have been great, helping me get my teeth situated. They show great care, ask the right questions, listen intently, and are willing to do whatever necessary to make sure the experience is 100% - and will continue to help until that level is reached. My husband and I found Sage Dental because we were going to another place in the shopping center. So I made an appointment, nervous because my previous Dentist was awful. Everyone at Sage was wonderful and professional and I felt so comfortable. Once we met Katie, we realized we came to the right place. She was wonderful and explained everything to us in detail. She was warm and friendly and always greets us with a big smile. So happy we stopped at Sage, and everything has been wonderful ever since. I would've given this Sage location a 4/5 if it weren't specifically for their hygienist - Kate. Her solid 0/5 brought down the total. Kate is rude, condescending, and terrible at her job. She will repeatedly, aggressively stab your gums and tell you it's your fault if you try to speak up and ask her to be more gentle. Worse yet, she discovered she can force people into an up charge to use anesthetic while having cleanings with her because people are "too sensitive" to her medieval dental torture talents. She'll refuse to clean your teeth and reschedule if you try to refuse the anesthetic. She'll also tell you your gums are bleeding because you take bad care of them, not because she's actively stabbing them with metal tools. She doesn't listen and will just repeatedly tell you what she thinks is best without making any notes in your chart around your preferences. She doesn't believe in water picks or flossers, only regular dental floss and will not stop talking about it. She'll belittle you if you do use water picks or flossers (asking if you're a child) and has no interest in any of the data supporting the benefits to flossing with anything other than traditional dental floss. I specifically called multiple times prior to my appointment requesting to not have Kate. When I got her at my visit today, I asked if she could please be gentle with my gums to which she scoffed. I went to the front desk to ask if there was another hygienist I could see as that's what I requested, to try and avoid making the situation awkward with Kate. Kate called me and beckoned me away from the front desk until I followed. I let her know I requested someone else as her cleaning methods are too rough for me. She left for a few minutes to check if the other hygienist had flexibility to take me and came back to tell me I'd need to reschedule and come back another day if I wanted to be seen by someone else. As I took time off work I begrudgingly agreed to be seen by Kate. She inspected my teeth and told me I'd need an even deeper cleaning than the last time I visited. Which earlier she explained she was rough my last visit because she had to do a deeper than normal cleaning on me. This is when she strong armed me into signing to use anesthetic , as I am "too sensitive" clearly to have a "proper cleaning". When I said no, she took my bib off and said I could leave. I ended up signing it, then as she went to get started, I had a panic attack realizing the anesthetic would make Kate feel free enough to stab and abuse my gums as much as she wanted. I went to the front desk who was able to immediately get me in with the other hygienist, Nicole. I am incredibly thankful to them for this. Nicole is phenomenal!!! She said my teeth look great and gave me a normal and gentle cleaning. She warned I brush too hard and have started to make my gums recede, but otherwise I have perfect dental health. Nicole was kind, funny, a great conversationalist, an awesome listener and a fantastic hygienist. I've only had one cavity in my entire life and aspired to be a dentist for several years before making a career/major pivot into IT, and my mother was a Dental Assistant before retiring. The fact that Kate was forcing me into deep, aggressive cleanings is abusive. When being seen by Nicole, I had a clear view and could hear into Kates room. I saw Kate use the same fear tactics and force she used with me to make another poor patient agree to a deep cleaning and anesthetic. This seems to be her default, my guess is she's incapable of a gentle cleaning and I wouldn't be surprised if she made a cut on upsells. Kate is not capable enough or qualified to be seeing patients in my opinion, as she abuses them in an underhanded way. I would highly recommend she is retrained immediately if not shadowed and let go for her terrible performance. read more

Went for Check up and cleaning with my husband. First the hygenist ( He ) did not want to clean my husband teeth unless he upsale him for Deep cleaning. When my husband refuse and ask to just do regular cleaning which is cover 2X a year didnt want to do anything ,so my husband walk out very upset. I had a upper partial done with this facility , the dentist was a spanish lady but no longer there when I call , for the reason that my partial broke in hafl. Went in for a cavity on my front tooth and a bite adjustment, dentist came in room didn't ask me about anything and went "exploring" in my mouth, she then dug out and opened a cavity on a different tooth making it significantly worse and then told me I'd have to come back to get all of my problems fixed, so I left in more pain and with more problems than I started with read more

I had an appointment for 10 am and then when I went in and got X-rays done they said they don't know if they were able to schedule my cleaning that day... I reinstated that it was my day off and it would be easier for me to get it done that day.. they told me to come back at 2:30 which I did just for them to say the same thing again. She ended taking me but only did half of my mouth and now I have to go back again but they're fully booked on my next day off. My fiancé gums were left inflamed and bloody bc the cleaning was done too harsh. Don't recommend and I wouldn't go back again. read more
