On 2/4/26 I went to the Sage Dentist in Vero beach for a cleaning, which is covered by my Ultimate insurance. After the examination a representative came in and advised me that it was going to be over $300 to perform a deep cleaning which is outrageous. I believe that this Dental location tries to upsell after they already beat the insurance company up. Warning if you need Dental Care do not go to one of these chain dental offices. read more

I called, explained my issue, and was given a quick appointment at the Vero Beach office. This was an emergency. I was unable to get all my information online, so I would just bring it to my appointment. I received a call the day before saying it was canceled because I had not turned it in. Frantically, I called back and asked for the appointment to be rescheduled, as it had been just 20 minutes. I finally got through, and they confirmed my appointment. I got there, and they said they had given me the wrong kind of appointment. The girl at the front desk was dismissive and showed little concern about the mistake, saying the next available would be in July. When I explained it was their mistake, all she said was, " I have July." Her condescending and rude attitude should be addressed at the office. People have to take time off work to make and get to these appointments, and there is no reason to look down on someone who is flustered by such a big mistake. I work hourly and had to take an entire hour off to get there, only to be told they had scheduled the wrong thing. Reading these other reviews, maybe I got lucky. read more

Went to them for a year. Dentist was good but he was just an employee. The hygienist who ran the show said I needed a periodontal procedure or the prepaid cleaning would not be done. I left and went to another dentist who said the "required" procedure was unnecessary and was a way unscrupulous dental corporations soak their patients. Never went back. read more

Attempted to sell a service that was considered non-essential to the requested service. Did not offer to discuss or substitute, and did not explain what would be the result if that procedure was not taken. Further, tried to get me to sign a paper that said that I HAD had it explained to me what was the results if that procedure was not taken, saying that I was "only saying I had seen the paper" and did not have obligation, when the note above the signature line said that I was bearing responsibility for the operation and the costs and agreed to it. That was very shady scam level behavior. I did call back later in response to the automatic email with the bill from the day to the line designated for "if you have questions about the bill" and asked if the particular items were required for the operation. I was told that the dentist would call back within an hour. It has been a week with no call back. I don't expect that will be happening now. When you've done your homework enough to be prepared for a $480 bill, and then show up and *surprise* told it will be a $2200 bill, there's reason why that decision shouldn't be made without having the pros and cons explained to you. Especially when you're told that your signature doesn't create responsibility and the paper itself says it does. read more

Sage dental employs jackleg dentists. They do not do a thorough job and because of sloppy workmanship my filling only lasted for 8 days before it fell out. I found a real dentist who worked on my tooth and replaced the filling in my tooth. No more problems because a found a real dentist. read more

A big racket like many dentist today, just big business, they do not really care about your health or well being. It is all about money here, they worship money, not God here. They won't even give you a simple cleaning. They add so many fees, hundreds and thousands to all that the insurance will not cover, then add another $10 fee, that you are not supposed to have pay according to your insurance. A real racket here. They prey on people with problems and are on the take for as much as they can charge you. The people are nice, but it is all about charging so much here. It is sad to see that there are not a lot of honest and upright dentist anymore in the USA like there used to be. They need our prayers here! read more

So if you're able to get helped they're decent dentist office, but they fail to mention things when you make appointments especially if you have to make it down payment. Let's say you have to cancel and you put down $200 deposit, deposit is now gone and you're out $200. But they don't tell you that, so if you have an emergency and aren't able to make it you're out of luck. Never going back. I see why now dentists rotate out of these locations like crazy, horrible policies in place that aren't explained up front always after the fact. And the best part is they will not work with you if anything happens like that. Avoid if possible! read more

Personnel there helpful and my dentist (Dr. Al-Kubaisi) very competent. Jessie Office Mgr helps me figure out planned expenses and Neecy (sp?), dental assistant, is very nice in every way. I feel they are all there for me if and whenever I might need them. Have sent new patients their way and have no reason to stop recommending them. read more

Went there for first time and had a bunch of X-rays and exam. I notice when they did the exam the gum reading they used a metal tool pushed very hard into my gums. The woman pushed so hard into my gums she made them bleed almost everywhere. This has never happened before. Then I was told I needed a special cleaning that wasn't covered by insurance because my gums bled. They proposed a very expensive cleaning out of pocket with a gum diagnosis I've never had in my whole life. I said no went back to my old dentist. My old dentist did the same exam with the same numbers that I had always gotten ( not the bad one they gave me)and told me I did not need that special cleaning. I noticed recently many people were slamming this company on either Facebook or Nextdoor for what look like overcharging, and people even spoke about getting the Attorney General involved. I know in my experience, I felt like something was shady with this company. I am not comfortable giving them a good review based on my own experience, but like everything, buyer beware. read more
