They hurt one of my friends badly and refused to pay for her medical expenses. That's not right!

First timer! This establishment has been here roughly 4 or 5 months. Located next door to Luxury Nail & Spa, T Mobile and Mattress Firm just to name a few surrounding stores.. Panda Express and Moes are also in this plaza. Today was one of those days that I needed to relax and unwind.. Just tired . Decided to give them a try and boy was I impressed. The lobby decor is very nice from the lighting to the seating. There are essential oils, lotions and scrubs to choose from. So yeah you choose your fragrance- lavender, orange, honey, etc. The front desk attendant was very nice and helpful in choosing and explaining the various oils . The wait time was less than 5 min. The massage rooms are all separated by long drapes. Maybe 20 stalls. The massage chairs are quite comfy. Fluffy pillows for comfort. Since it was my first time, I chose the 30 min foot massage along with 5 min neck/head massage, $30. Now I wish I had chosen 60 min. But I will next time. I apologize for not getting interior photos but I did not have my phone. Sorry! I will take pics next time but I captured exterior photos of the price list. It's reasonable as you can see and well worth it. We all need to practice self care especially if you're an athlete or work out often you need to unwind. Highly recommended! The treat about this establishment are the hours - 9:30AM to 10PM Monday thru Sunday so 7 days a week. You can also call to schedule with your favorite masseuse. Upon entering, it was nice and pleasant on the inside.  The hostess was warm and welcoming as she explained their process.  She offered me water and an ounce of  wine. The service I requested was an hour foot massage.  She massaged everything except for my feet. I did not enjoy the service. She applied excessive pressure on bony areas of my chin. Even after she saw me wincing, grimacing and flinching she continued. After a few hand gestures and constantly jerking my leg away, she adjusted her level of pressure. After she went to retrieve the hot stones , she nearly BURNED me TWICE. Those stones are scorching, and she should have been more aware of how hot they were before she applied them to my skin TWO times. She was negligent and careless before application to my leg. After the 3rd attempt, she didn't even apologize for nearly burning my skin. My body remained tense the ENTIRE experience. Final verdict: for $62 cash/ $65 card... somehow turned into $68 with a card, plus 20% gratuity.  The massage therapist was HORRIBLE, and she did not deserve 20%. I stand on my feet all day and to not get what I paid for after spending almost $80 was disappointing. I WILL NOT RETURN. read more

Sage Foot & Body is at the top of my list for affordable massages. From the time I arrived to the suite until the time I left the service was amazing. The ambiance is beautiful and very soothing. I entered the room where my massage was and it was set up nicely. I reserved a 60 minute hot stone massage and Kevin did his thing!!! The entire massage was great! I was happy to see this place had opened as previously there was nowhere to go in this part of Gwinnett for foot and body massage. I went in one afternoon prior to work to get just a foot massage. I was greeted by a female therapist and shown to a room with just a single massage chair. I took my shoes off and waited for her to return but then a male therapist came in the room with the foot soak bucket. He set the bucket down and I told him I preferred to have a female therapist. He looked a little confused and walked away. The original therapist then came in and told me they take turns for foot massage and it was his turn, if I wanted a female therapist I would have to get a body massage as they do not allow customers to choose between male and female therapists for just foot massage. Normally I would have opted for a body massage but since I had never been there before I didn't know if their oil had a scent to it. Some places use oils and lotions that have scents that I do not enjoy and have to wash off, since I was going to work directly after I would not have time to do that. My choices were to get a body massage or leave so I left. I've been to dozens of massage places in multiple states and I have never had one refuse my request for a female therapist. Since they were close to home I wanted to give them another try. Stopped in several times but they were too busy with no female therapists available. Finally one day I stopped in they said they could see me but I would have to come back at 8 pm, when I specified a female therapist that changed to 8:30. I left and came back around 8:20. I sat in the lobby till 8:45 when the therapist that had taken me back the last time lead me to a room. The massage rooms are just big enough for the massage table and a little space to walk around them, not much room to take your clothes off to hang them up. A different therapist came in that was wearing jeans. The texture of jeans against my skin annoys me, I have no idea why but I hate them. You don't realize how often a massage therapist's pants actually touch your bare skin until they are wearing jeans. Other than the Jeans the massage was ok but it felt like I had been face down for a long time when she finally got the hot towels to wipe off oil rather than telling me to turn over she just left the room. I layed there for a while waiting for her to return but then the music was turned off I could hear lots of talking and sweeping. The therapist that showed me to the room opened the curtain and seemed surprised I was there. She told me my time was up and they were closed. I have never gotten a body massage where you didn't turn over to have the other sides of legs massaged or your face/ scalp. Guess I've tried it now and know not to return. read more

I've been to this place a few times. The first time it was great. The second time was okay, but every time, maybe twice, thereafter has been horrible. This last time has unfortunately made me feel like I won't be back. I requested a 60 minute foot massage and told the woman at the front I wanted medium to deep pressure. She said okay and passed my request to the guy who did my service. Within the first three minutes, I knew my service was going to be a disaster. He began by lightly rubbing in slow motion as if he was taking his time. I tolerated it for another five minutes then stopped him to ask for the woman working in the front. She came and I told her my request again. She mentioned it to him again in their native language and he nodded to imply he understood. After all this, he still didn't do it. He started back with the light rubbing. He didn't realize I could see him. I noticed he looked in the hallway, watched people walk by and seemed uninterested in providing a decent service. Finally, I had enough and told him to change the service to 30 minutes. He acted as though he didn't understand so I said "30 minutes" rather loudly. Now, he understood and began to apply the medium to deep pressure that I requested. It was too late. My mind was already made up to leave. He finished and I walked to the front to pay. The woman commented they charge an additional $3 for credit card payments but if I pay with cash they would discount it to $32. I grabbed some cash out of my wallet and proceeded to give her $32. She stood there and wouldn't accept it. I said "here you go" and she responded "where's the tip". I said "obviously if I changed my service from 60 minutes to 30 minutes and had to ask for you again to ensure my request was honored means I wasnt happy with my service so why am I tipping". This convo continued for awhile until I gave $1 and told her that's all I'm giving. I couldn't believe they demanded a tip for horrible services. I told her I have to go find another place because that experience was horrible. I wasted $33 and would like all my money back. Do not waste your time or money at this place. My mom and I went here for a foot massage and Ms. Jane and Ms. Tina took care of us. The atmosphere of the spa and their demeanors were so relaxing, comfortable, and accommodating. Thank y'all at Sage for your care and attentiveness. We are excited to come back for a body massage next! read more

The staff is great and very accommodating. The foot massages are amazing! I went while pregnant and they were very flexible to my needs.

My husband took my here as a surprise birthday present and he did good! We stayed in the same room throughout our massage. We had the works done. We chose head, hand, foot and body massage. It was a total of 90 min and I'm still thinking of the awesome experience. We'll make sure to go there again. I highly recommend this place, you won't regret it. I don't typically write responses but today I had to. While I had an an amazing massage I will NOT be returning. After paying for my massage, and paying 12% and paying a $2 charge to use my card, the lady Jane up front asked me could I tip a little more. I told her that is extremely rude and I paid the requested price for a service and that that anything I paid over that was extra and at my discretion. She then advised that they don't make that much an hour and she was just asking. However if I can't afford to it's ok. And I explained that I'm not required to make up the lack of a salary that she gives. And that yes it is extremely rude to demand an additional tip from anyone!! And just because you're smiling when you say it, doesn't make it any less rude. The only reason I didn't take my tip back completely is because the person who earned it doesn't deserve to be slighted for the rude behavior of someone up front.
