The woman who owns the shop was so kind to us. She had clay on the wheel while we were there and got up to show us around and asked us what we liked, and pointed out a few different kinds of pieces she makes. She's a master of hospitality. The pottery itself was gorgeous and true to its name, with plenty of color reminiscent of the red rocks in swirls. She's got vases of all shapes and sizes in the same style, with a few different colors as well. There's a showcase in the middle of the store with jewelry from a few artists they have partnered with. She also makes her own jewelry from unique pieces of clay that didn't cut it on the wheel. They are quite pretty. When we told her we were traveling with checked luggage, she broke out a box and did a masterful job packing it up for our anxieties. We were taken care of and treated like guests.
