Wow, wow, wow! I have tried many different curly specialists prior to trying Sage + Mane, but I can say that the cut I got here was by far the best! Sharaya listened to what I wanted and made it happen. Unlike other cuts, I was able to keep my length while still getting an overall cleanup and layers that worked for my curls. I wanted a style that would be easy to maintain, and, after a couple of months, I am still thrilled with how well my curls fall with this cut! Loved my experience! Beautiful color and amazing cut. I went from my natural darker brown to a beautiful light brown/blonde ombre style balayage. She managed to get some really light pieces as I requested near my face and toned me very cool (because I don't really like warmth on me) it's gorgeous Before the cut my hair was mid back length and just flat and too silky -limp even. After the service my hair has shape and even a little texture to work with and it holds curl beautifully. I can part it wherever I want as well, lots of flexibility. It's very clear that Sharaya is a skilled artist, she creating a full look that is beautiful, flexible, and low maintenance too! read more

Sharaya is so kind! She is truly amazing when it comes to fringe bangs and cutting. We toned my blonde hair slightly darker too. She allowed me to come back to add more layers because I felt like I didn't get the layers I wanted. She fixed it right away and accommodated me. Super cute small studio as well. Only thing is paid parking 3$ for 1 hr, and 6$ for 2 hrs. She lets you know that it is paid parking as well but I thought I should mention that. This review is long over due.... I came here last year in April (2024) and had a haircut. I chose this place because of the good reviews and I am a brunette. I have A LOT of hair with coarse texture. I wanted some layers to take out some of the weight. Here I am, almost one year later, still trying to grow out the worst haircut I have ever had in my life. My hair was way over texturized and layered. I even had to chop off my hair short last year right after I saw her bc the cut was SO bad! And it didn't even fix the super short layers she gave me!! I feel terrible writing this review bc it's never fun to say this type of thing. Hopefully this review will help the stylist and also help anyone who is considering going here!!! With fine, straight hair that I usually don't style, I needed something that would look good both air-dried with no product and when styled. The stylist collaborated with me to create a cut I'm really happy with. She clearly has a solid understanding of various hair types and cutting techniques. The environment was comfortable, and she was friendly without draining my introvert battery. One thing I really appreciated was that her pricing includes everything, so no need for an additional tip. Since moving to Sac 4 years ago I have had such a hard time finding a hairstylist, that is until I found Sharaya! OMG she is the absolute best. I can't remember a time loving my hair more in all the 25 years I have been getting my hair professionally done. While brunettes may be her specialty, she did my blonde highlights beautifully! I had been seeing my former hairstylist for about 4 years when she suddenly decided to change careers :( Finding a new hair stylist is super stressful to me and so I dragged my feet for about 6 months. When I finally decided I couldn't wait any longer, I scoured yelp for a new stylist. I am SO glad I found Sharaya. I went in today for a cut and partial highlights/lowlights. I had a ton of hair, so it was a pretty long appointment, but I never felt rushed. She even went back and took a little more length off for me and didn't make me feel bad at all when I asked. We chatted about colors and decided to mix a few of them to get the colors I wanted. When we started blow drying, I was a little nervous about the color - It was a bigger change than I had anticipated (due to the colors I chose, nothing to do with Sharaya). She was super supportive and offered to try more toner if I wanted. I declined, and she told me that if I decided in a few days that I wasn't happy, to give her a call and she would work with me to fix it. Flash forward to now- I love everything about this cut and color. I'm SOOO happy I found her and I will definitely be going back and recommending her to friends. On top of her amazing work, she seems like a genuinely lovely person - she was fun to talk to but also seemed fine with letting it be quiet too.
