I stopped in last night for a hair appointment with Emma. She did Cherry Red Hair(no bleach) with Red Hair Tinsel. It's giving rock star vibes and I'm loving the subtle sparkle! Emma gave me a fair price and I enjoyed the complimentry Twinings peppermint tea! DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR HAIR!! Hello everyone viewing this salon, I went to Studio Solstice on the 6th of this month and had a horrible experience. Prior to my appointment i inquired about getting my hair dyed like the reference photo. (Neapolitan color themed, the girl without glasses) During the appointment I was told we would be good to go for the look I requested and after getting my hair bleached I was told over and over how good it was going and how we would be able get the colors i wanted. But, to my dismay I left the salon (AFTER 8/9 HOURS AND 450$ SPENT!!!) with a look that looked NOTHING as described even down to the sections itself!!! After speaking to others around me I was confirmed on my suspicion that I didnt get what I ordered in the slightest and chose to request a refund from the stylist(Kiki) as I couldnt email or call the studio. (both modes of communication saying they werent available from my contact area, leading me to believe I was blocked!) But, I was told a refund wasnt available for my service and the best she could do was be in my hair again and try to fix it which I was NOT comfortable with after what happened at first. I would also like to point out that she has previously been able to do pink hair(which i will link below a photo of her doing that from her instagram) but for me she wasnt able to do that. (Id understand if it wasnt possible given my hair circumstance but being lied to and told that she can do it the whole appointment is the problem!!! Im disputing this charge as I wasnt given a service even remotely the same as requested and I urge others to avoid this place with a 10ft pole. read more

GO TO KURTIS!!! I absolutely love Kurtis!! This was my first time going to studio solstice and I will be back for multiple reasons but number one is Kurtis. I went to Kurtis with pre-dyed hair that came from a dark brown box dye kit 10 months prior. Basically black. My hair was still pretty dark 10 months later. I set a consultation and communicated what I'm looking for with looks and how often I was looking to get my hair done. Let me tell you when he came to me with the plan I knew I was heard. When I got my hair done I could tell he cared about keeping my hair healthy with not over lightening too fast . Though for having almost black hair from a box dye what he did was magic. I had an excellent cut, highlight, and blowout by Molly Jones and wanted to share my experiences at The Studio Solstice. Molly warmly greeted me and gave me a glass of sparkling water. She informed me where the restroom was and then sat me in her chair. I felt cared for and welcomed into this adorable and inviting studio. Molly thoughtfully selected low-tox styling and conditioning products for me. My hair tends to be dry with a little wave, so it gets tangled easily, especially when wet. Molly did a great job brushing the knots out. She was very gentle and used conditioning products that treated my hair and had the most beautiful clean scent. The products were exquisite. You could tell they were made with high-grade essential oils and didn't have the strong perfume smell some products have. When I walked out the door I felt like a new person.
