We were in search of a light snack and a healthy bevy and Lyfestyle was the perfect fix. This location is steps away from the Angels Stadium, serving up acai and cold pressed juices. They make their acai in a Chipotle style ordering system, you walk the line and craft the perfect bowl. My bowl consisted of an acai base, overnight oats, and chia pudding. On top I added agave, almond butter, strawberries, bananas, and kiwi. I also snagged their Glow Greens pressed juice. This is jam packed with all my favorite green ingredients: green apple, red apple, cucumber, lemon, cayenne, and ginger. My only suggestion would be to have printed menus available onsite. I have mediocre eyesight and it can be tough to read the digital screens from so far away. I'm sure others feel the same!

A good friend of mine recommended me to their healthy food products nearly a year ago and since then I've been hooked. They're a very small business right now, but I've been following them since around last May and they've grown tremendously. They started out with one simple product- their Berry Om-Cake. (Om like mediation...Ommmm!) And they're really Omm-ommm good! They then expanded with a new flavor of om-cake, the banana cinnamon raisin (BCR) which is my personal favorite--tastes just like banana bread! They're moist, filled with yummy nuts, dried fruits, and surprisingly VERY filling! One of them will hold me over from the morning well until lunch time. Their curry hummus is amazing- unlike any hummus I've tried before and mixed with chopped cashews and shredded chicken breast = THE best curry chicken salad! Not quite sure yet, but I hear they're working on perfecting their newest product (vegan AND gluten free), which I can't wait to try! Will update again once I've tried it. Check them out! I believe they sell at the moment at Erewhon, Locali, and Easton Gym to name a few places. Used to have a booth at several farmers markets (Melrose, Little Tokyo, Bank of America), but don't anymore.
