Make your own salad ($9.99) + turkey sandwich

Quick recap: - Food: Good - Portion size: Good - Service: Extremelly slow; Nice staff - Environment: Grocery store / Tawe-away - $: Medium - Perks: Patio for eating outside More details: Always go to the salad bar. They are good, but you wait forever. The hot bar is good, usually pretty fast, but the quantities are small (a side of broccoli legit means 3 small broccoli). In terms of perks: The patio outside is nice. Overall? Good food. Size depends on what you get. And how fast you get served definitely depends on what you get (sandwitches are usually pretty fast, you get pick up some random already made salads and co - obviously n o wait, or you can go to the "waited for my entire life in line" salad bar)

Got a bacon breakfast burrito and cold coffee. Breakfast burritos is something you don't mess with. People who order them are typically looking for something hearty and tasty. I can't say that this burrito was up to par with surrounding places in the neighborhood especially at $6.79. The only coffee option was a small bottle of Califia cold brew almond milk coffee. As I already knew how it was going to taste, I picked it up to complete my meal. I noticed there were no prices on any drinks in the fridge, i was willing to take the risk. Not til my credit card processed, I realized that the drink was $4.99! Wow. The clerk agreed it was expensive and suggested to ask management to put prices on the drinks... really? I'm pretty sure target sells the big bottle that serves 8 for $5.99. Disgruntled enough with my meal, it has lead me to writing this review. I will not be coming back to this place again. U$C is so good at ripping peop

    Grilled BBQ Tofu Sandwich

I wasn't expecting the Grilled BBQ Tofu Sandwich to be as tasty as it was. But it totally hit the spot! Slices of BBQ tofu, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, avocado (yummm avocado!), and veganaise on whole wheat was the best thing I ate that day. I felt that the price was reasonable at $7+. Let's just say that I'd be willing to swing by USC just to eat it again. Pretty legit vegan option on campus! http://bit.ly/1lfbFbU In addition to having a vegan item on their menu, the marketplace has a specialty diets section with snacks and pre-packaged meals. Although it's a small section, it's nice to have those alternatives.

This is a pretty good spot on USC campus for homecooked food and healthy eats, including fresh fruits to save yourself a trip to the grocery store. There's a breakfast station at the front to get a sandwich or burrito to start your day, tons of bottled cold drinks, and a rotisserie station in the back. The rotisserie chicken meals come with half a chicken and two sides for around $9, which is an excellent value for some hearty fare. The sides include hot vegetables like broccoli or green beans, mashed potato and macaroni 'n' cheese. A pound of Driscoll's strawberries costs $4.99, which is only about a dollar more than a full grocery store. 10 percent discount for USC students but not staff.

I've been to Seeds many times and each time I have gone the selection gets more and more limited by the week. I'm not sure if it's because they only get shipments in at the start of the week or what, but by Thursday there are only sandwiches and salads to choose from. Usually there is sushi and different hot meals on display (which are my favorites), but like I mentioned, they are not available by the end of the week which is disappointing. This is most likely due to Covid and Seeds being short staffed, but there are students and visitors on campus that rely on places like Seeds to provide food options. Also, granted that there are basically no dining places available besides EVK and Starbucks that are open, the least Seeds can do is make sure there is a good supply of meals each day. I'm assuming that when classes are in-person again this won't be an issue, but until then Seeds is getting 3 stars.

Bacon and overly fried hash browns.

Breakfast burrito: bacon is good, but hash browns are practically fried, you might as well get a bag of potato chips. The burrito suppose to have cheese, mine was missing.

This is like a little convenient store on the USC campus. It is great for someone who is hungry but do not want to go off campus. There is a variety of food such as snacks, drinks, and hot foods. The downside is that a lot of the things here are a little more pricier than average. If you have your student ID card, you are able to get a little discount. It's also another place for student who have dining dollars to spend. Besides that they accept other forms of payments as well. If there's no other option, this marketplace may satisfy your needs.

    Hot Pastrami Panini $7.95

Located on the ground floor of Ronald Tutor Campus Center at USC, Seeds is one of the places I visit almost everyday on campus. They got sandwiches, salads, desserts, you name it, in a total of 6 stations. Since it's got so much to offer, lunch time at Seeds gets pretty crazy and lines get pretty dang long. I come here despite the 15 minute wait because their paninis are bombdiggity! I'm not sure what sauce they use, but the color is orange and the taste is freaking orgasmic. My favorite is the hot pastrami. The bread they use is very tasty and the pastrami is melt-in-your-mouth good! I have yet to try the sandwiches here but word of mouth is that they're all very delicious. The only complaint I hear of this place is of their prices (~$7-8 for sandwiches), but what can you really expect when you're trying to buy food on campus? Seeds also offers fresh fruits, snacks, drinks, rotisserie, even sushi to-go, making this place one of the two most convenient marketplaces on our campus (the other one being tro-gro).

I'm not quite sure why this place doesn't have a solid 4 stars, because I think seeds is wonderful. Seeds is my favorite spot to grab food on campus. Lines do get pretty crazy during peak hours, so if you're coming during lunch time, I would allot about 15-20 minutes for the salad bar, 10-15 minutes for the sandwich bar, and 5 minutes for the random quinoa bar (not sure what this is called but it's next to the salad bar), 5 minutes for the chicken/salmon bar--the line to the actual cashier is about 3-5 minutes long. My go-to salad item is the Beets Salad with added avocado and chicken. You can also sub out the certain ingredients for other ones of the same price to customize your salad. My go-to sandwich item is the Caprese sandwich with dutch crunch bread (trust me, get the dutch crunch bread--toasted). My go-to item in the chicken bar is the regular rotisserie chicken with a side of either mac&cheese (SO GOOD) or mashed potatoes with gravy. The breakfast food here is totally on point. Options are: pancakes, oatmeal, croissant breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, regular breakfast combos with eggs toast and bacon/sausage. My go-to breakfast item here is the sausage breakfast burrito with added avocado. Snacks are available: protein bars, chocolate, nut snacks, candy, chip, cookies, vegan snacks, everything basically... There's also a dessert bar available with ice cream, cookies, cupcakes. You can make a cookie ice cream sandwich! The ice cream here is surprisingly really good...try the Earl Grey flavor! The food here is on the pricier side, but I think it's worth it. If you're a USC student don't forget to show them your student ID so you can get the tax deducted off your bill!

Seeds is the healthiest food option on campus, but the long waits and relatively high prices make it a good choice only when necessary to eat on campus. Seeds offers fresh salads, sandwiches, a rotisserie and sushi, but it gets old rather quickly. I love getting the Mediterranean salad and the BBQ tofu sandwich, but not too often since it costs about $10 without a snack or drink. They also have delicious ice cream- try the earl grey ice cream, you won't regret it! Seeds also has a small, extremely overpriced market with chips and cookies, mostly. They also have kosher and vegan options in the fridge in the back. If you're not already on USC campus, don't seek out Seeds. But if you're on campus, Seeds is one of the healthiest options.

The Best thing here is the Rotisserie Chicken. I have it once a week. Everything else is expensive from fruits to vegetables, to snacks(biscuits, protein bars, cereals) even water also.

This location on Wilshire Blvd in Koreatown is the smallest of the three I've visited, with under 10 seats available. It's a compact shop, and most customers opt for takeout. It's a narrow shop, and most customers take their orders to-go. I've previously enjoyed the La Paradiso and La Toscana, with the La Paradiso being my personal favorite. For our first visit with our son, we asked the staff for recommendations, and they suggested either the Venice Beach (Turkey) or the New Yorker (Roast Beef). The staff was incredibly generous, offering a roast beef sample, which our son loved! We also appreciated them providing ice and straws for our water. We ordered the New Yorker ($19.00) with roast beef, porcini cream, tomato, and arugula. The sandwich was thoughtfully cut in half, perfect for sharing. The schiacciata bread boasts a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior, which beautifully complements the meats and cheeses. We opted to substitute the porcini cream for mozzarella, which was sliced into perfect bite-sized pieces and tasted incredibly fresh. The roast beef was thinly sliced and tender, the tomatoes were fresh and sliced to perfection, and the arugula added a delightful peppery crunch. It's a well-balanced sandwich and one of the best in LA. We would definitely order it again. A big thank you to the female staff member who expertly cut the meat and offered samples, assisting us in making the perfect choice for my son's sandwich. This experience was truly a positive one for our family. I would definitely return to AAV for the excellent food and service. Given the small size of the shop, takeout is recommended, especially during peak hours. The sandwiches at AAV are so good! Fuggedaboutit!

My wife and I stopped here a few weekends back for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised with just how much I enjoyed the food. The ambiance here is pretty generic, white and bright and very copy and paste of a lot of places popping up recently. The staff was super friendly while taking our orders and dropping the food off, which is always appreciated. I ended up ordering the Santo's Turkey Melt which is smoked turkey, grilled onions, Swiss cheese, and chipotle aioli served on sourdough with a side of french fries. The sandwich was really good and the same can be said for the french fries and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of fries given, so thumbs up to that. I forgot what the food costs so I visited the website and for some reason they don't think it's important to put that online, which is pretty darn stupid if you ask me. Overall, I didn't have a bad experience at Sandcouch Cafe and I would visit again in the future thanks to it's convenient location. The food was solid and the staff was friendly, and that's really all I need when ordering a sandwich.
