    Summer Rolls
    Bernadette B.

Wandered in before a movie at Emagine Novi. It's conveniently close if you're looking for a quicker meal before catching a movie. There were plenty of open tables, but it wasn't very busy on a Friday night. I'm not sure how long they've been at this location, but all the servers were very friendly, and I appreciated the screens rotating pictures of their menu. It made their food seem extra appealing. I ordered the P4 with sliced beef and the summer rolls. The summer rolls were different from other versions I've had- This one had a strip of tasty BBQ Meat which I really enjoyed. The pho itself was a solid broth. I wouldn't rank it among the tastiest pho I've ever had, but enough that the broth had a good depth of flavor. Unlike many other pho restaurants I've been to, they pre-add the bean sprouts and Thai basil for you, though they let you add your own jalapeños. Overall, this place seemed like a solid place to go for me. Convenient if I'm in the area, though I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to come here. We'll no doubt wander back in another day sometime soon.

Broth is very flavorful and not too salty and the beef is tender. It was comfort food full of herbs and Vietnamese seasonings. Highly recommend.

Came here for a weekday night dinner. Service was friendly and Inside was clean. Ordered fried egg roll and shrimp pho. Egg roll was fresh out of pan and it was crunchy outside and stuffed with ground pork and vegetables. Pho soup had a good flavor with plump shrimps.

Had a good bowl of Pho. The bowl was a little small (compared to others for the same price $17). The broth was a little lighter than others as well but I preferred it cause it was less salty as well. Service was good. They had plenty of tables, only 1 large booth. Good for small to medium group. Overall it was good and I would return.

We chose this place for dinner after we visited Twelve Oaks Mall. This area is a commercial haven with every mall variation imaginable...indoor conventional, satellite plaza, strip plaza, etc. This restaurant was in Twelve Mile Crossing, which is basically an outdoor mall that really didn't resemble a town center as much as an urban neighborhood or a downtown side street. But whatever you want to call it, it was a nice feel that created a cool vibe. This particular complex was mostly restaurants with establishments such as Black Rock, a Bar Louie, a BW3 and others. The parking was ample although, because it was a big lot, on a busy night you could end up parking a little way out. The atmosphere was nicely sedate and comfortable when we visited. The dining room capacity was perhaps seating for sixty but there were only a dozen or so patrons when we walked in. It was wonderfully chill. We were seated right away and our server attended to us quickly. She did a good job taking care of us throughout our visit. The menu was straightforward and contained several Vietnamese standards. In addition to the Pho, there were also rice and noodle plates. We were attracted to these in trying to maximize our flavor and limit our calories. I chose the Grilled Chicken which was accompanied by rice, a fried egg and salad. It was well done and the taste was excellent. The sweet dipping sauce (nước chấm) was a nice complement. My wife chose the Grilled Pork Chop with the same accompaniments and she was equally happy with her selection. We ate about half of our servings and each had a small meal to take home. I was happy enough with the value I had hot tea to drink and my wife had water. So with food, drink, tax and tip, our outlay was $32 USD. At $16 per person with another small meal to take home, I was happy enough with the value. We'll keep this place in mind when we're in the area again.

Went here for the first time and there were many things I liked. The inside was nicely decorated and I liked the set up. The staff was friendly and the service was very good. My friend got the hot tea and really liked it. Now for the just the okay part. I really liked the broth in the pho, however I was not a fan of the noodles. My friend didn't mind them but I was not a fan

The fresh roll was delicious. The pho I. The hot stone bowl is a little small for the good broth and pho. Wish they had a bigger option. The pho broth was still hot when I finished the pho that is what's nice about the hot stone bowl. Definitely recommended.

Came to Michigan for work and felt like I was coming down with something 2 days later...I attribute that sitting on a plane for 5 hours so I wanted pho. I'm from SoCal which is one of the premier areas for Asian food and so my expecations were quite low to find good pho in Michigan. Hopped on Yelp and found this place closest to my hotel. Walked in. Decorations are cute. Restaurant seemed clean. I got the egg rolls and the pho they had on promo which was beef ball, flank steak, tripe and raw beef). Egg rolls were good but not served with the usual accompaniments such as lettuce, pickled veggies, etc but the server was nice enough to make a small plate for me. The pho broth had a lot of depth, not oily at all. Noodles were cooked perfectly. Overall I was surprised at how good it was. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that they pre add the vegetables for you in the pho vs serving it on the side. I'd comeback.

Consider me being so nice leaving this star since i was the one who got to walk back from the parking lot coz someone forgot to put extra rice that i paid for. And the look that i got like i asked for extra free rice when the guy behind the counter asked me to check the box with chicken in it because that's where they put the rice. And now everyone can see themselves.

Horrible experience with the wife of the owner. Ordered a pork dish and fresh rolls. Ate the fresh rolls. Were bland but edible. The major problem was what they called pork. This was 99 percent fat. I took a bite and spit it out. Complained to the waitress, who brought the lady to my table. No apology was given. She simply advised if i didnt pay for everything in full to include the fat dish, she would call the police. I contacted my credit catd company who advised i would be able to dispute the charges once posted. Avoid this place at all cost.

    Pho!

AMAZING PHO! The Stone Bowl was still hot when I was trying to scrape the bowl. Hands down best Pho! I will absolutely be returning.

Sai Gon Pho Wow. This is not your typical pho place! Why. For now 2024, it's the first pho restaurant in Michigan that has the stone bowl pho! P1 - Sai Gon Pho Special. Yes. It comes with everything and includes a huge oxtail meat/bone. The stone bowl comes out boiling hot and you add your meats, vegetable, and garnish. Nice! I've seen the stone bowl pho go for $40 in CA but at this place it's only $23. We really get the better deal. The eggrolls were good and on par with everyone else. Something different? Yes. They have coconut juice from a real coconut! Excellent! Called "Fresh whole coconut". Done right. Wow. I make this drink at home all the time. Trust me, it's a challenge. Just come, the pho is great. The broth is similar to the rest of the pho restaurant. Good. Not oily. Clear broth. Nice staff. Very open floor plan. Nice decor. You and your friends will be satisfied. FYI, the stone bowl pho($23) is the biggest pho bowl at this place. You can ask them to upsize your 11.99 bowl to the stone bowl if you want more pho helpings. For me, the 11.99 bowl size are very small. I would put this pho on par with Pho Lucky, Taste Of Vietnam Pho, and Detroit Pho & Crab. It's that good. Michigan has a lot of good pho places. Now we have stone bowl pho!! Highly recommended My Star System: 1=Dumpster fire. Don't waste your money 2=Disappointed. Lot of issues 3=Average, 1-2 issues. 4=Above average, I might come again 1-3 times per year 5=Highest. I will come back a few times a month or more. If I live far, it's at the top of my list to visit when I'm in town.

The pho was delicious and well seasoned! The portions were just right and the prices are decent. I really liked the look and feel of the restaurant layout. And the service was good.

Absolutely delicious!…read more We got pho from here atleast 3 times while staying in the Farmington hills area, but every time was to-go, so I don't have any comments on the restaurant interior or service. The broth was served separate from everything else. It comes with cilantro, onions, hoisin (?) sauce, noodles, meat, basil leaves, jalapeño, bean sprouts, lime, spoon and knife, chopsticks, and a napkin! The noodles were always cold and stuck together when we finally got to sit down and eat, but I attribute that to ordering to-go and having to drive back to the hotel. I will miss this pho place so much!!!! Absolutely delicious and filling!!!!

We've only been here twice and I was really impressed by the broth and amount of meat that comes in each bowl. I don't typically get pho...if I can find it, I love getting the quarter chicken leg that is broiled. This time, I decided to venture out of my comfort zone and ordered the Bun Cha. It reminded me of a deconstructed pho/vermicelli bowl. It's similar to soba, where you take some noodles and dip it in the sauce. The meat (meatballs and pork belly), while the picture shows is separate from the sauce, was in the bowl, which was fine and tasted great. The noodles were on the side and sticky, so instead of taking little servings of the noodles at a time, I decided to dump them into the bowl of sauce. The dish also comes with lettuce, basil leaves and cilantro. The meatballs were full of flavor and seemed made in house (different from the standard meatballs that typically go in the pho). Service was quick and friendly. The only thing I noticed could be a bit better is the cleanliness of the restaurant. There were quite a few spots (maybe from the broth) or some other liquids on the wall, that looks like it had been there for awhile. Other than that, the decor is cute.

When we walked in, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the decor and layout of the restaurant. It was busy but only had to wait for a few minutes for them to get a table ready. There were seats at the bar which seemed like a good atmosphere if you chose to sit there. We sat by the window in a 4 top for just the 2 of us. My seat was comfy on a bench. There were many items on the menu that we wanted to try but asked our server for recommendations. My husband ordered wonton soup for appetizer and then Mongolian beef. I ordered the Thai basil chicken. We ate it all! Everything was flavorful and hot in temperature and served just at the right amount of pace. I also ordered the white flower cocktail, it was good and can't quite determine what part of it had a little kick to it! We ordered hot tea for our dessert, they certainly know how to make jasmine tea just right! Restrooms were clean and it's a cozy yet a little upscale vibe but not dressy. I was worried as I had my Star Wars t-shirt on but I layered with a sweater! We will definitely return as I'd like to splurge and try the Hong Kong short ribs!

Also delivered were bean sprouts, basil leaves, jalapeno disks, and a lime wedge, which accompanied the pho so you could dress your pho to your liking.
