$75+ for the tiniest portions we have ever gotten. Called for takeout and picked up ourselves - not doordash or uber eats. Left a $10 cash tip which we regret after opening the food. Stuffed calamari ($25) - there were literally 3 in the dish. 3. I ate one and you're seeing everything else we got. Beef rendang ($24) - 4 pieces of beef. Not wagyu... Pork w spring rolls on vermicelli ($24) - reasonable enough portion but very overcooked. Should be a staple of any Viet spot so idk what they're doing here Would call them right now but they close at 9.... on a Saturday.... I will update this review if I'm able to reach them during biz hours for a resolution but this is easily the most disappointing meal I've had all year. Save your hard earned money and go to Ela's greek or literally anywhere else on this block, even Dominos. EDIT: Went in next day and spoke to a manager, only mentioned portion size and showed the picture, didn't get a chance to say anything about everything being overcooked. He had clearly heard these complaints about portion size before, because he immediately launched into saying the cut of beef + tendon they use for the rendang yields that as their standard portion size. He refunded the calamari. I still won't be going back and would never recommend this place, but wanted to acknowledge the resolution. Also my husband unfortunately wasn't there to speak to them, but he's been in restaurants for 25 years and knows they served chuck, not a fancy cut...

Super chill Vietnamese restaurant in JC! We ordered 2 dishes to share: - Clay pot curry: 9/10 (this is my first time trying Vietnamese style curry and it was pretty good! It wasn't as thick as other styles of curry, but I liked how warm it was) - Beef pho: 9/10 (pretty good pho! Definitely will come here when I'm craving some pho in the area.) Service was fast and super friendly and ambiance was very chill.

Tried this place for weeknight dinner. We tried fried tofu with lemongrass sauce and Bun Ga Nuong (Noodle Entree with Chicken) -- both were fresh and tasty, my tofu dish was portion-wise on the smaller side. I think this place is pricey at $20 a entree dish. Ambience is good, service is decent. Definitely worth a try. But nothing that will make me go back to this place.

WOW GO HERE! Was recommended by a friend who went and finally decided to come. HOLLY COW, this place will blow you out of the water with its flavor. The inside isn't super flashy but you don't need that. Tucked away at a side table provided a perfect date night atmosphere. Not to mention the service was amazing very understandable when I took forever to decide on what to get. The price is a little expensive but worth it for the flavor. Getting a little deeper. Food was amazing. So flavorful and the tomato stew had rice noodles under all of the flavorful sweet potato and chicken! The curry puffs were so good. GET THEM! The pastry was flakey and the indies had the perfect balance of curry. The clay pot curry was so good and really warmed your belly in the best way. Could not recommend this enough!! Please go you won't be disappointed !!

Very good bun vermicelli noodles and Thai green curry. Great spot in downtown grove street. Lots of options on the menu too and lots of people at the restaurant but not so many we had to wait in line. Highly recommend!

Although the staff were extremely kind, I was disappointed by the service and food we received. Staff were extremely kind but because they were short-staffed and we visited on a busy week night (Friday night). The waitress was very apologetic which I appreciated but forgot to bring us the lime slices and jalapeno peppers we ordered. It also took a very long time (about 15 to 20 minutes after being seated) to get our Diet Coke. (Pho Bo) It was alright, but the broth seemed to be watered down and not that flavorful (Seafood Rice Noodle Soup) The broth was very odd tasting and for the price we paid, wished it had more actual seafood than the imitation crab sticks. The only thing I liked was the shrimp cracker (which I've never had anywhere else).

Great Vietnamese spot in downtown JC. The soup was delicious (and huge). I thought the summer rolls were also especially fresh!

Really good food but the ambience is just okay due to the pandemic. We really enjoyed the food :)

I came here as a party of 4 on a Saturday evening. The restaurant doesn't take reservations, but there was no wait, so we were seated immediately. My boyfriend ordered the old fashioned - it was good, but watered down. I ordered the spiked guava lemonade, it was very good, but didn't taste the guava that much. For appetizer, we ordered the pork spring rolls, vegetarian summer roles, and chicken wings. I ordered the lemongrass tofu for dinner. It was very flavorful and had a nice spice to it, but the portion size was a bit on the smaller size. Overall, we had a nice experience and enjoyed the food.

Incredible dish. I had the light pork dish. It came with orange rice and like a salad with cucumbers and greens, carrots and tomatoes.

I gave three stars primarily due the curry clay pot was on the salty side. But loved the fired pork spring rolls appetizer!

They used to be closed at 7 but now are open to 8. We got meatball platter which comes with 4 meatballs and bread, ziti, chicken parm sandwich and 2 cannolis. Came to $44. The food was ready right away and the pick up was easy. Chicken parm had no cheese on it. Maybe that's the way they make it but it's weird to have a parm sandwhich without gooey mozzarella. The bread lacked flavor and was kinda tough and not soft for bread. The sauce was good. The meatballs are were good. They were big, plump, tasty. But nothing special. Ziti was a nice portion but it tasted like stinky cheese to me. The cannolis are huge!!! Filled with cream. Super crisp, yummy shell and the cream is rich, creamy and not too sweet. One had chocolate chips on it and the other didn't. I guess I have to specify if I want chocolate chips or not. I actually liked the one without chocolate chips the best because it was just idk so creamy and I can focus on tasting the cream. I would come back here and try the soup since I hear it's good, skip everything else and just get a million cannolis.
