I have gone a few times before & it was fine. I took my neice for her 1st pedi. 2 pedis for $60. Not worth it! Nail tech rushed through both pedis. Looked as if I had polished my own nails. I had to tell her to clean the polish off my skin numerous times. Waste of $. We did not receive good service. I've had better pedis elsewhere. We won't be back. read more

I have been looking for a nail salon in the area for a very long time, but have not had any luck so far. Saigon Nails came highly recommended from many friends and co-workers, so I was very hopeful. I have gone in twice, both times taking my younger sister along. The first time I got a fill on my acrylics and my sister got a basic manicure. I was extremely impressed with the end results. I thought for sure I had finally found a reliable place down here. I went back two weeks later to get another fill. This time, a woman helped me. I was beyond upset with how my nails came out. The polish was pretty bad. She missed a lot of spots and got much of the polish and actual acrylic on my fingers. To make matters worse, she had kind of rushed me through, and did not give the polish enough time in between coats to dry. I only realized that 45 minutes later when I went to pull on some shorts and all of the polish on my thumb moved back. Unfortunately, I won't be going back there and I really would not suggest it to anyone else. read more

Manicure and pedicure there today was horrible at best. I was charged for additional services and was not told that would be the case. My main issue is that the manicure was absolutely horrible. Previous polish not removed completely, cuticles not taken care of and nails were cut cut so short no shape was possible. Very disappointed and will not be going back unless I can find out the name of the first person who did my services and can request her. read more

I called and made an appointment for the same day I ended up going to the wrong location the guy that took my call did not tell me they had two locations , that was fine whatever, I drove to the second location for my original appointment was supposed to be, the lady was finishing up a customer and then I sat down in the chair It was just a husband and wife working there, 3 other people walked in for services, the lady that was doing my feet rushed and rushed ( when I say rushed, like it was fast like speedy Gonzales) . I did not relax , there's no prices for anything , I asked for a price menu of services she said "we don't have any", I had no idea my pedicure that was rushed when I say rushed it was rushed !because she's trying to tend to other people ! My pedicure was $45 I think I would've enjoyed it more at a School where they take the time and really focus on relaxation .NOTE: had extremely stressful ,frustrating and depressing day and I thought getting a pedicure would cure everything however it just made it worse. read more

Asked for a gel deluxe pedi, received a regular gel pedi. Lady was in such a rush. Toenails are uneven, and polish is sloppy. I even told her to fix one. The only thing she did good was the foot massage but it didn't last long. I felt she could have done better on my toes verses continuously telling me how bad color street was for my nails. I'll give the salon another chance but will not be going back to her. I can't recall her name, she was an older lady with short hair. read more

This is the salon that has been in this spot for some years, not the newer one opened near all the new stores. I have for the most part, been satisfied going there. Today is a different story. I did go as a walk-in, and did expect to potentially wait. As soon as I set my bag down in a chair, another lady walked in, and I'm pretty sure she was a walk-in as well. We both picked out our colors and went to our chairs. After about 25 minutes with my feet in the water, I saw Tony get a set-up and take it over to the lady who came in after me (as he was finishing with a manicure). I waited to see what would happen. The other two technicians were busy with pedicures, and I could see it would take a while. When Tony actually sat down with the lady that came in after me, I proceeded to get up to leave. They said to sit, they would be right with me. They are very friendly people, so this is a bit hard to write. The lady proceeded to work on me. The end result was pretty terrible. From the nail filing, removal of callouses (not much), and application of paint, it was all in all a very bad job. I asked her to fix the polish, and she did in a few spots, but realistically, someone else might have demanded it all be removed and done over. I did not, and just paid and left. Unfortunately, I won't go back. I used to go there with my Mom and other family members, but they just aren't up the same standards. Thanks for reading. This was the first time I had ever been there. The staff was very friendly, very nice people, which is why this is difficult to write. There was one woman getting her pedicure finished up when I went in. They had me go to the back where the pedicure stations are. There was a filthy station full of dirty, used water next to the manicurist. She pulls the plug to drain the water. Splashes some clean water in the tub, NEVER USED ANY SORT OF DISINFECTANT, then she picked up the dirty towel off of the floor that she had just used on another client, wiped out the bowl and tells me to put my feet in it. IT WAS THE MOST DISGUSTING THING I HAD EVER SEEN. I turned around and walked out. I can only imagine the level of foot fungus and infections people must get from this place. They do a great pedicure and manicure for a reasonable price. The leg and foot massage feels so good. I have a hard time trimming my nails so I really appreciate this. My husband (as well as many other men) looks forward to being pampered too. The shop could possibly use a facelift but I go for the good work. I get Gel on my fingernails and it looks good for 3-6 weeks. They take walk-Ins but I try to make an appointment since they always seem to be pretty busy. read more

I went to the spa today for a pedicure and a manicure with Tony. He was amazing. Very friendly and did a wonderful massage on my legs and feet. Removing all the rough skin and smoothing my nail surface. It was a lovely experience and I will definitely recommend him to all my friends and I will go back again. Then I had a great manicure and Tony suggested that I should use gel nail polish which lasts so much longer than regular nail polish. He did a great job and appreciated the fact that my polish would last longer. When I need them doing again. I won't hesitate to go back and see him again. read more

First time trying this place. I had acrylics on and wanted them soaked off. I'd like to get dip powder to help grow my nails again. Tony, who I assume is the owner/manager, insisted I keep my pink and white ombré acrylics bc they are so 'expensive'. Very nice gesture, But I knew what I wanted. I would have pushed it, if I'd had confidence in the gal that was helping me. Don't know her name but the lady doing my nails put a large bucket hat on and put her head down. She hurt me about five times where I had to yank my hand back. She never said sorry. I'm quite used to the nail file getting hot but this was painful. She messed up my thumbnail. I've been getting my nails done for 20 years and I've never been so angry and hurt so many times. It was all I could do to keep it together. Sadly, she passed it on to Tony to fix but he still let me leave with it looking like this...so easy to peel off. My right thumb now has clear acrylic placed In error, instead of removing it, she added white and now it looks like a sore thumb with a large gap between my real nail and the acrylic. One of the more unusual nail salons I've ever visited. Let me start this review by saying the owners (Robert and his wife) are very friendly and pleasant as are their staff (male nail technicians). I point out that the salon technicians are male bc. I've never been to a salon with male techs. I gave them 3 stars because I knocked off a point for lack of obvious sanitation and for being slow. I called at 12 noon and made an appt for 1:30...my daughter and I didn't get out of there till 4pm!! Women who came in after us got seated before us, huh?? I could knock off another point for their method of applying and doing gel nails, but in the end my nails look nice so I'll come back and give an update on how my nails wear. Now my daughters nails started chipping by the second day. Again, I'm hesitant to deduct a point because she is only 8, but whenever I get her nails done at home (SF Bay Area), her nails don't chip right away. In this situation I'm inclined to think it's the salon, not the child, seeing as both her hands and toes are chipping. But seeing as we only went once, I don't feel comfortable definitively blaming the salon, rather just state what's happened and other readers can decide if they want to try Saigon Nails. The salon was busy so they asked the massage therapist to start working on my daughters toes, but we were separated by 3 chairs so I wasn't able to see what he was doing. Then at some point Robert takes over when a massage client came in. I've never seen anything like this. 3 of the 4 nail techs needed glasses, which I didn't think anything of, until I looked closer at my toes and my daughters and we both had polish around our toenails. We ended up scrapping off the extra polish once we got home. Annoying. Oh and price...I was charged $30 for my daughter (normally $25 in the Bay Area with flowers on the thumbs and toes, she didn't get anything special on her toes and she had a French manicure). I was charged $65...again normally $63 at our salon back home and a gel mani/reg pedi takes 90 mins. The whole thing should not take nearly three hours. read more

Tony is an incredible person but I had my no chip done 3 days ago and one of my nails has already chipped. My nails could have also stood another coat of color; you can see the white of my nails through the yellow I picked out. The place is outdated compared to the nail Salons I'm use to but I was very happy I went. Tony did my pedicure and it was great! I also had mani and gel which turned out very nice. Happy I went. I have been here a few times before and would give 4 stars. However beware of older lady. It was my worst pedicure. EVER. Aside from bad filing. No filing of my heals and foot. AND she massaged one leg briefly and forgot about my other leg. She proceeded to paint the skin above my toenail to make up for a terrible filing. I had to pick it off when I got home. I hesitated to write this review because I wanted to really like this salon. I waited weeks before deciding to write this. Let me start by saying that the staff is super nice. Tony, the owner, is very personable and funny. He talked about his children and even has his kids' achievements up on the wall. There was another male worker and a female who worked on me - both very nice too. So it makes me sad to say that I just won't go back. It's very busy and you can tell most of the people are regulars or snowbirds/visiting one time only customers (but then again, this IS Green Valley). The major thing that for the minimal stars is the cleanliness of the place. When I went to put my nails under the UV light bar, there was a dead fly and another bug under there. When I told the nail tech she just kinda laughed and went away - she didn't clean it up. Then when I put my hands under there - omg I was pretty grossed out. There was nail dust everywhere. Yuck! Secondly, I was MAJORLY pushed into getting a gel manicure. I was in there to get rid of the gel manicure I got for a special event over a month prior. I hate them because of how hard it is to change nail polish - this was maybe the 3rd time I had gotten one. The nail tech proceeded to sand off my gel manicure. I had never seen this done so I thought it must just be a new procedure - usually my nails were soaked in acetone. Well, the sanding left my usually super strong nails very thin and fragile. I am sitting here with the shortest nails I've ever had in my life because they all eventually have peeled and broken. I can't wait until my nails grow long enough to get rid of all the sanding parts that left my nails weak and thin. The manicure itself lasted less than a day! I had to go back the next day because my nail had broken and it needed to be fixed. I didn't just pay $50 (french mani/pedi) to not be able to sport it for at least a week! They fixed it at no extra cost and were very nice about it. However, they did try to tell me that my nail broke and chipped because I didn't get a gel manicure. Pretty much everything I said about a manicure, they tried to push the gel manicure. When I said I wanted a certain color they said they don't have it in regular but they do in gel..that kind of thing. When I left they said "see you next time!" happily and friendly. I decided to try the new Saigon Nail Spa and had an ok experience the first time I had a fill. The young man did a decent job and was quick, but I noticed the place was not very clean, and the other female employees were loud and talked with each other through the whole experience which was far from relaxing. I had a broken nail a week later so I went in to have it repaired. I has an older woman who never once looked at me, she had me sit but didn't get to me because she was talking with other techs and did some other things while I waited. Her station was dirty, unorganized and twice she just got up and did whatever, not saying "excuse me" or "I'll be right back". The one nail repair took almost as long as a fill, it came out extremely crooked and the polish was see through. I came away thinking the people were unfriendly, lacking not only people skills but talent. The towel she had at her station that I had to put my arms on had been used and was dirty.
