The lower unit on my Mercury Optimax 150 froze. When I checked the oil, only a few ounces came out…read more Sportsman's was the last to service it in December 2022 when they changed the oil and replaced the impeller. It appears they did not refill the lower unit with oil (see photo). There is no sign of an oil leak after running the boat many times since I refilled it. They have no explanation of where the oil went but claim they are not responsible. I even asked if a pressure test concluded there was no leak would that be an indication that they didn't fill it with oil, but they said it couldn't possibly be their fault. I have been a loyal annual customer since 2012, but they have now told me to take my business elsewhere. I recommend not doing business with their service department. If I find a leak, I will gladly update this review.

Several of their spots are within feet of the sewer ponds as well. This is just what was observed driving through. The night before arriving to our reserved spot I reached out to get the site number and was told that they no longer have any available spots. When I responded to ask why our reservation was cancelled and to figure out the disconnect, we were ghosted. Very unprofessional. I have traveled to many states and several campgrounds and have never had such ill mannered service.
