She did a fantastic job sailing, having good conversation, and keeping things fun. She also knew a lot about sailboats in general and explained the differences in the other sailboats we passed. Lots of safety aboard and they do a great job having the visitors help with the needs of the boat. It was absolutely gorgeous that day and we could not have had better conditions to sail. Wind was good. Water was good. Times were good! We got to see a bunch of lighthouses and many wildlife too. All in all, a good way to spend a day on the water. They do sell booze if you want a drink. The schooner itself was beautiful and the crew were knowledgeable and friendly! Our cruise allowed us to bring wine and beer and snacks. We were glad we did, as soft drinks were a dollar each. Cookies, tea, and hot cocoa were complimentary. It was a gorgeous day and we had such a relaxing time! This is definitely worth the full price value and we plan on returning to do another cruise next summer!

Be prepared to have alternative plans…read more We had a night fireworks cruise cancelled for "weather" 36hrs in advance. No signs of inclement weather on any of the weather apps. As predicted, it turned out to be a Beautiful and calm night. We ended up watching the fireworks from shore. They contract out their crews so it may have been that something fell apart on that side for the night trip. Just be prepared that they may cancel for any reason. A local captain we met during the fireworks show in Camden surmised that there was likely something else besides the weather in their decision. Others in our party were committed to getting in a harbor tour so we ended up getting a day sail earlier in the day. It was a Beautiful day. Competent and friendly captain and crew. They did an excellent job of hosting the harbor tour. Absolutely Beautiful boat. Great way to spend some time on the water. Be prepared for alternative plans.

My kids gave us a gift certificate for a foodie tour pre-COVID and we were finally able to use it…read moreon Thursday. We met our tour guide, Abbie, in front of the police station and we instantly knew this would be a great day. Abbie shared stories about the area and guided us on things to do around town. We tasted food from several local establishments, got a free sample from Eventide And finished the tour with a flight of beer from the local brewery. We found a friend in Abbie too! Call me crazy, but I think I may have saw a ghost in the top window of a house in wisscasset, when nobody was home.

She was articulate and told some very good stories both as to the city and its origins and the different buildings that are haunted. At the end of the tour I kept looking in Opera House hoping to see the ghost that apparently still hangs out there. We all enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it if you are visiting the town.
