there's a new roaster and the coffee is wonderful. currently serving only pour overs, both hot &…read moreiced. single origins ranging from daily drivers all the way to competition level. currently it's outdoor seating with some shade available, though i was told indoors will be available soon. the competition levels are as wonderful & complex as others offered around town like at be bright, ondo, & wynd. one thing i really appreciate about their higher end beans is that the advanced processes aren't too overt. you taste a little of it in the background, but it doesn't taste too artificial or scream advance process. however, don't overlook the daily and rares. they offer great taste and value. just two weeks ago i was telling my significant other maybe i should stop ordering daily drivers because they seem dull and unexciting after drinking so many specialty offerings around town. i'm happy to say element changed my mind. last but not least, friendly baristas that are very willing to talk more about which beans might fit your flavor profile or the science of brewing. element is not just about good service, they understand hospitality; a distinction not all shops around town understand.

I had a dreamy Queen Bee latte( espresso, local honey, vanilla extract and almond milk) I would love it more if they had coconut milk as it's better for you and the environment than oat or almond milk. Took home a salt bagel and pistachio croissant. Made a Canadian bacon and egg on half the bagel at home at it was delicious. I'm also a bagel snob as I lived in NY for 8 years. This was a good bagel. Saving the croissant for tomorrow so I'll update later but it's huge and looks flaky and yummy. The place is darling, definitely not your typical private equity coffee spot. The staff was super friendly and when I couldn't decide which pastry to get, the young man asked if I wanted sweet or savory. It was really creamy and nutty. Pleasantly surprised and now a new favorite! I will say, for the size, $7 is a little steep, but it can be an occassional treat. It's only available iced & 14 oz. They have milk substitutions (oat/almond) for +$1 and lactaid 2% free of charge! The coffee was quite strong but not too bitter or overpowering. The cream top was slightly thick in consistency so definitely recommend giving it a good stir prior to drinking. It wasn't too sweet and tasted very refreshing. Really enjoyed the hint of red date and pear taste! Definitely a MUST GET! Overall, I really enjoyed my drink and experience and would definitely return and recommend!
