I get that we'd all rather be outside playing than working, but (1) basic civility is not difficult, and (2) the wind wasn't even that good that day?? Reading recent positive reviews, I have to assume this is just the kind of place that may have one approach to customer service for sporty-looking white guys and another approach for everybody else. I'm sure this doesn't apply to everyone who works here, but it's been a long time since I've had an experience this bad in a gear shop, and the owner might consider some level-setting with staff.

A small cove cut out for the beach , kite surfing or watching, beautiful water views, Mt. hood, beautiful people watching, playgrounds, it's all here and worth the visit! A couple of things to keep in mind, the bathrooms are very clean and accessible spread throughout . They have a lifejacket lender station !!! It was so nice to be able to let the kids just hop in the water and swim freely! (because I sure as heck I'm not gonna pack lifejackets on my trip who does that?!)
