What a huge disappointment to show up with our coats on November 21 and be told the St. Bernard Sport's Keep Dallas Warm initiative was done. We were told the promotion would go through the 21st, as stated on Facebook, the email and the mailers we received, without stipulation about ending the promotion early, or decreasing the limits. So no $30 gift card (limit 10 per donor) for every gently worn winter coat dropped off at the Inwood Village store between November 14th through the 21st for us... We made sure our coats were in good condition, dry cleaned and met all of the criteria. We were in contact with Ashley, the store manager, throughout the week, making sure the coats were perfect for donation. In addition to the coats that met the requirements, we were donating ski pants, vests and additional jackets to the cause. Many of the items were originally from St. Bernard Sports. But instead, when we, 5 of my children, my husband and I, arrived with many coats that met the requirements, we were told that the owner Wes ended the promotion early, because he gave away enough cards. This statement came from Ashley, with Chris at her side. Chris basically told us we were getting nothing and we should leave the coats anyway. In addition, as part of the interaction, the staff taking the coats outside made fun of us as we spoke with Ashley and Chris. This was the addition of insult to injury. I would have to say that the saddest part of this situation was the fact that these gift cards were to go to the families we are adopting for Christmas. I was proud that my children were excited to participate in an event that helped not only the Keep Dallas Warm Event, but then planned to make the Holidays special for others with the gift cards... For all their effort, following all the rules, the results were to be mocked by the staff of St. Bernard Sports. read more

Ordered 2 items, one was recieved and the other was not and my credit card was charged. The effort I put into trying to get a refund on the item was not worth the extra that I saved by shopping with this store. Save yourself the trouble and shop somewhere where customer service backs the item in case you have problems. I called UPS because they were delivering when called them they said they were never given the package, they were only given the shipping information. They had a HUGE sale getting ready for spring, buy one 10% off buy 2 20% off buy 3 30% off and it goes up to 50%. I Purchased 2000 worth of stuff and came back the next day to buy more and the manager(PMS Women) told me they were not doing that any more, was quit rude about it.. even thou the sale signs were still up? DO NOT BUY ONLINE! Terrible customer service. I placed an online order on 2/1/2019. This was a Friday night. I called the next day to cancel one of the items I realized I ordered men's sweater instead of women's. Their online service is closed on weekends apparently so I just sent an email. On Sunday, I called their store and talked to a manager. Manager told me that order was not shipped and he said he sent a message to the online store. Monday evening (2/4)they responded and said order was shipped so I cannot cancel an item. I said, OK, I will return it once I receive it. Today 2/13. USPS website says item not picked up. Supposedly this was a 3 day shipping. After 12 days (8 business days), they are telling me that there was error in the scanning and package cannot be located. This was a big mistake buying from a company I never used before. I got my lesson. DO NOT make the same mistake. read more

Don't waste your time ordering from them. We read several reviews that they will randomly cancel orders but took a chance anyway. Several days after we placed our order they cancelled saying it was a mistake on their part. I wish they could figure out their own inventory management system. I ordered a coat online for my husband who is currently serving in Kuwait. I asked if they could extend their return policy until October when he comes home just in case it doesn't fit. I didn't want to wait to order it because I was afraid they would sell out. I received the coat at the end of June and their regular return policy is 60 days. I spoke with Melissa and she said that is absolutely not a problem. If we should need to return or exchange it in October, just contact her and she will send a return shipping label. You don't find service like that very often. And I would like to mention that the coat is very nice and was hundreds of dollars cheaper than any other place online. I am a regular customer at the St. Bernard sports at Inwood Village in Dallas-it is right down the street from our pediatrician's office, so we are there all the time. This morning, I went in to shop with my 1 year old (in a stroller) and my 3 year old. As is usually the case there, none of the 8 or so sales people we walked by asked if we needed help (I am used to this at this store-they always seem to warm up after I go to the counter with my $400+ dollar purchases). I had a few items to purchase on my stroller when my 3 year old daughter said she had to go to the bathroom. I walked her back to where the bathroom was (yes, I come enough to know where the bathroom is) and realized it was under construction, so we walked back to the front of the store to ask a salesperson about another bathroom. She said there was an employee restroom and she would go ask one of the other ladies to bring us back there. We followed her to the back of the store as my three year old continued to tell me that she had to go to the toilet. We were met with a group of three sales associates who informed us that in fact there was no toilet that we could use there. They then went so far as to tell me that there was a Subway across the street that has a restroom. Well A. I had a stroller and a three year old and would not be crossing a wide street to find a restroom and B. We do not eat Subway and I would not be purchasing anything there and I do not make a habit of mooching fast food restaurant's restrooms. I once again confirmed with the sales women (3 or 4 huddled in a circle at this point) that they would not let my poor daughter use their restroom. At this point she had heard the conversation and was very confused as to why she couldn't use their bathroom and kept insisting that she had to go "really badly." I placed the items I had intended to purchase on the nearest rack and walked out. To be honest, I was disgusted to see these women looking at us with their noses in the air as my daughter begged me to let her go to the bathroom. They women either A. have no concept (or imagination) of that fact that a 3 year old may not be able to control their bladders like an adult and also had no compassion for a child asking for a restroom B. were afraid that the child accompanied by her mother may harm their employee restroom in some way or C. just wanted the lady with the two children out of their store. As I walked out of the store, I had to explain to my three year old how some people just were not nice and did not want to share their bathrooms. All in all this was just such a repulsive exchange that there is absolutely no way I will be returning to this store. Luckily, Zappos has most of the things I buy there and has free shipping! This used to be an excellent choice for purchasing ski or snowboard gear before a trip to the mountains. Over the years I purchased equipment and clothing for my entire family here. The prices are not cheap but the service used to be fantastic and I liked to shop local. This shop has completely changed and unfortuntely not for the better. Now I would not recommend it. The sales associates are rude; they do not care about repeat customers, and that's if you can actually find someone to help you. Most of the itme they could not be bothered. Do yourself a favor and buy online. The price will be cheaper and you will save yourself the headache of being mistreated by retail snobs. If you want high end fashion clothing and an attitude then maybe you will like this as an alternative to North Park mall. read more

This place is too pricey!!! Same clothing priced less @ other stores. Wanted to purchase a Rebecca Taylor top that I found on-line @ Neiman Marcus..... sadly every size (inc. 4,6,8, etc.) was available except size 2 which I needed. Found SAME top @ significantly higher price on St. Bernard Sports website & size 2 was in stock. I inquired about price-matching but Torri Williams from St. Bernard's Sports responded back that merchandise must be exactly the same (including size) to honor price-matching per store policy. I even forwarded to Torri the sizing chart for Rebecca Taylor clothing which clearly indicates sizes 2 & 4 are both considered small, sizes 6 & 8 medium, etc., but regardless St. Bernard Sports wouldn't honor what the size converts to!!! Now they have 1 less customer! Plus I wouldn't want to buy anything from a store like this that scrutinizes over something so insignificant. Bottom line..... I purchased a few swim cover ups from St. Bernard which were a great price. They arrived within a few days and were perfect, so I placed another order but for something I wasn't sure would fit. And so it turns out I had to return a couple of the items. I had read online reviews that people had problems with their returns in the past, but I had had a good experience with my first order so decided to take a chance. Well, I used their free postage paid mailing label to return the items and I received my refund within a few days of mailing them back. After I placed an online order that included free shipping I discovered after checking my confirmation email, that they had charged me $6.99 more than the Grand Total I had clicked on when I ordered. They had in fact charged me for shipping. I actually copied and sent them the original order which showed the free shipping but they wouldn't drop the charge. I bought a pair of Cold Mountain Zip boots online on black Friday. They had a really good deal and free shipping. I received confirmation and was waiting for the shipping. Then, several days later, when all the sales were over, I received an e-mail saying the boots weren't in stock anymore. The e-mail said they wanted to extend me 15% on a new sale but didn't explain how to claim it. Today I went online again to buy my boots somewhere else and ended up in the same place, they are still offering the same boots except that they are now a lot more expensive.On their website it still says they are in stock too! This seems like a scam to me. I did have to sign up and gave them my CC# even though it was not charged. I tried calling today (Saturday) but no-one was there to answer the phone. read more

They have good gear. Lots of North Face and Patagonia, but their prices are DEFINITELY HIGH! Also, the customer service is the WORST! I was there for about an hour and not even one person came up to ask me if I needed a dressing room or help with the 5 ski jackets I had in my hand. They just stood around and watched! And at the end i still spent 1,000 for about 2 jackets. If i wasnt in desperate need for ski clothing I would have waited and gone somewhere else! This was not my first time going there and receiving the same treatment. Kind of sad because if only their service was better I would have spent MUCH more money. Fast shipping but what is the use when it is the wrong item. I wrote to them 5 times and called 3 times. Customer service Brady and Tracy says they will help but gave my nothing concrete on how to solve the problem. Just tactics to keep customer shut up. There were no reply to any of my email enquiries either. Seriously need to improve customer service as this makes a difference between a good company and a lousy one. Placed my order for a YETI Koozie 11 days before Christmas with 3 day shipping. Found out by calling on the 8th day that they had a 'glitch' in the system and never processed my order for shipping. Sounded like someone answered the phone while laying in bed watching tv. Then they told me, oh by the way it is out of stock, then proceeded to tell me that they have already charged my credit card. So now I am stuck with a few days left before Christmas to find and buy a YETI Koozie with shipping costs that are probably the same as the cost of the product. I saw that this company is associated with Amazon - every year Amazon tells me I will have my product by Christmas and then its delayed until after. This store sometimes offers high end skis at seemingly amazing prices. The problem is you don't get your items, they charge your credit card, sit on it for few days, and after following up turns out that they don't have your items in stock! This is our second disappointment. I ordered Volkl V-Werks BTM 94 Skis and Salomon Warden MNC 13 Freeski Bindings on a Sunday with a guaranteed 3-day delivery service. Called Monday morning and was told that my order is being processed and ready for shipping. With no shipping information, emailed Tuesday and received a reply back that their system is down but they will update me on shipping. Went to customer support chat window on Wednesday and after pressing the rep, she said both items might be sold out due to inventory error! On Thursday, I received an email from the customer support that both my items in my order have been cancelled due to an inventory error. There are many reputable online ski shops but these guys are not one of them. They exercise shady practices. read more
