I wish I could give ten stars. Quality, style, and customer service were beyond anything I have ever experienced when buying a suit. If you want to spend very modest, conservatively, or go over the top. Either way, you will walk away with the best quality, impressive, best fitting, men's wear that inspires confidence. You would be crazy to go buy off the rack department store when this is available. If you have the money to treat yourself, this is also the place. I do not have hundreds of Yelp reviews. If I give you a Yelp review, the business was either the best I have experienced, or the worst. If I find quality, value, and a business that really tries to meet a customer's needs, I feel I should share with everyone. This was definitely a unique find. I had been very inactive and recently had a surgery. I had temporarily put on a little weight and all my dress clothes were too tight. My brother unexpectedly passed, and his funeral was out of state. In a panic, I searched Yelp and found this place. The reviews, all though good , do not do this business justice. I consider myself stylish, and I like to dress well for something important. I met with Antonio and I was very impressed with his taste and his knowledge of fashion. Antonio walked me through the entire process of selecting everything I needed. Antonio listened to what I wanted, and he made suggestions that made things look great. I was shown everything and we found exactly what I needed. I was fitted and Antonio worked diligently to have it ready. I was treated so well. I had never had so many compliments on my look. The best part is that I am one of Antonio's customers now. When I lose the weight, I'm back to have my suit altered. I have made a great investment on something that looks fantastic and I am proud to wear. I will definitely be back and I plan on bringing my sons for a fitting. Ramzy is a legend. I moved into the area about 2 years ago and was needing some new clothes for a job I started. He was an absolute professional helping me understand the different Italian fabrics he had in stock and several options for matching my shirt and tie. I was able to find several styles for both the office and an upcoming formal attire event - at each I received compliments on how sharp my look was. Fast forward about 6 months ago and I was preparing to get married. After surveying several stores in the area, I tapped Ramzy to outfit all 6 of my groomsmen, my dad, and my (now) wife's father. He was able to take both measurements from those who could not come in for alterations and also provide fair price and turnaround time for those that did. My boys were blown away by the level of service we received - the suits were incredible fit and quality and the price was fair. There just aren't enough great things that I can say about Gariani's! I read Michael's review earlier this week after finding out that my husband would be interviewing for a new job in which he was in desperate need of a suit for. He's always been harder to fit in the shoulders, neck, and thighs as he has a more "athletic" build and most clothes are cut too tight for him in those areas. We've never had great luck with Men's Warehouse, so when I saw Michael's review, I thought we'd give this place a shot. I am so, so glad we did! We walked into the store and we were greeted by Antony, who was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Both DH and I are not the most fashion-forward people, so we really needed someone to be the expert and point us in the right direction, and Antony was that person. Immediately he pulled a jacket off the rack as we stood there talking and when my husband put it on, it fit BEAUTIFULLY. We have never had that happen. Tried on the pants and they fit beautifully as well with very little alterations needed. This store has everything in terms of color, style, and price point, so there is something for everyone here whether you are more on a budget or even if you are an ultra high-end shopper. We didn't have a lot of money to spend, but Antony treated us like we were first class and helped us find the right suit and worked with us on a price. There are a million reasons why you should come to Gariani's instead of the chain stores. (1) The customer service is incredible. We felt like we had built a relationship today by the time we left, which is a rare thing these days. This is old-fashioned customer service at it's finest. (2) These guys know what they are doing. They know exactly what a suit should fit like, how to find that perfect suit for your body shape, and how to help you feel like a million bucks in it... all within a short amount of time (we were there a total of 30 min). I came here with an interest in how the custom suits worked and ended up purchasing a shirt. It wasn't a custom shirt (which supposedly costs about $400) where they make the shirt from scratch, but it was an existing shirt they had in stock and altered to fit me. I was quoted $250 for this shirt to include the alterations for a tailored fit and Anthony took all the necessary measurements. I was told I would receive a call once the shirt was finished, but I never did and had to call to follow up myself...no big deal. When I arrived, I tried on the shirt and it fits mostly good. There was a part near the shoulders that bunched up a bit and when I inquired about it, I was told this tends to happen and to correct it in the future, I would have to go custom ($400). Then after talking more about it, I was given the option to have the sleeve removed so the excess fabric from the shoulders could be cut off to eliminate the bunching issue, and then have the sleeve reattached. I believe he said that would normally cost another $50, but he could do it for me for $25 (something along those lines). I declined at that point, thinking, "shouldn't he have accounted for this during my first visit when he was taking the initial measurements? Why would anyone pay $250 for a shirt and be okay with this?" I didn't want to argue about it because Anthony seemed pretty persistent on how great the shirt looked (really, I think he was saying that to distract me from the bunching of the shoulders issue and to placate me) when really, I would have expected someone who took pride in their work to let me know that the shoulder needs to be redone vs. having me point out the issue, then be told that I need to pay more to get it fixed and that it actually looks wonderful on me. To be clear, most of the shirt does fit great. But at this price point, I expected much more. I also expected that he would be pickier about his craft, especially given the plethora of 5 star reviews on Yelp. I am glad I started with a shirt first, instead of going for the custom suits, which apparently start at $2500 after discount. I had a sense that the pricing on things seemed very random and arbitrary anyway. read more

Not a good start to my experience here. I was in a rush to get a suit last minute and drove by this place around 7:10 pm and called and inquired about the type of men's ware sold here. I wasn't more than 2-3 questions in when I was told by the older gentleman on the phone that he was in the middle of helping a customer just before his wedding who was getting fitted for a suit. Basically he couldn't speak to me for more than 30 seconds. I was already in the area so I decided to swing around to the front of the store and see for myself if he really was fitting someone else. He wasn't, he rushed me off the phone I guess in order to get out of the door right at closing time. I was ready to get my fit here but not anymore. As I had indicated, I had all intention of taking Gariani Tailors to court if they did not settle dispute with me. Well, I sued them and today had my day in the court. And Gariani lost, although the judgment was not quite equatable. I must say that it would have cost them much less had they covered my damage. I encourage anyone who was wronged by Gariani or had their clothing destroyed or damaged, to take them to the court. I think the Small Claims court needs to see them a few times. I advise Gariani to pay up the judgment soon. It can get more expensive for them. read more

Gariani is my "go to" store for suits and formal wear and it's high time I did a review here. Back in 2011 I was hustling to get ready for work in the Middle East and the assignment was "suit and tie" only. So, I needed multiple suits. I spent days going to almost every suit place in Dallas - Mens Wearhouse (tried to push me into a suit that clumped on the neck line, K&G (tried to sell me a suit that bunched in the shoulders), and Jos. A. Banks (I bought one from them, but the jacket ended up being baggy and both times I tried to get them to make it right, they just tried to talk their way out of it). I went to others but I can't remember the names anymore. Gariani was the complete opposite - not pushy, not trying to get me to settle for what they happened to have, and actually working to find the suit that looked good on me. It was like night and day between the stores. I was also pleased with their prices and free alterations. Every store except Gariani reminded me of used car salesmen. Gariani also stood out as the only place where I ended up with suits that looked good on me. Two years later, I am still very happy with their suits. Today, I needed to buy a tuxedo and was delighted to find out they had those too. In no time at all, we had a great-looking tuxedo picked out with all of the accessories and at a price that was surprisingly reasonable. As a man who is looking for "fancy" suits, and also an Asian. It is hard to find ones with high quality, not too expensive but still perfectly fit your body. So this is my very first Yelp review, even though I use Yelp a lot. As you can see its five stars, so just know that my experience here was so good that I need to share. After wearing the same tried suits for many years (and after much encouragement from my wife), I decided it was time to update my wardrobe. I was feeling more and more behind the times at my new job. Enter Antony at Gariani. I saw their reviews on Yelp and I was intrigued. I've probably been avoiding suit buying because I don't know a lot about how to put a look together that is stylish and up to date. I knew that I would have no clue where to start. I also knew that I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on this part of my wardrobe. Let me just tell you right off the bat, Antony put me right at ease. He's not a generic suit salesman. He really has a calming and genuine spirit about him. Very gracious in every aspect. I could tell that he was authentically glad that my wife and I walked into his store. His eye for style is impeccable and classy. He had my suit size down just by looking at me and as he got to know me he was able to steer me in directions that fit what I was looking for. He's a true consultant and a quality individual. The quality of his suits, ties, and the rest of his clothing are top notch. You can tell that he takes great care and pride selecting his inventory. He gave me a very fair price because I found him on Yelp. I ended up buying two tailored suits, several shirts, ties, pocket squares, and even socks. I was thrilled to find everything I needed at Gariani and didn't need to go anywhere else. Antony talked me through several matching scenarios with my new wardrobe and did a great job educating me on what goes together and how to put a stylish ensemble together. There is something special about this place. It's classy and more than that, Ramzy and Antony KNOW how to treat people/customers. I'm sure that's why they've been around since the 80's I believe. I've had the pleasure of dealing with both of these gentlemen. The first time, I came in was because I needed a bow tie for a hot date with my wife. (First time I've ever wore a bow tie in my life, don't judge). Either way, it gave me an opportunity to look at other items in the store and see what the store was about, and why it had all these 5 star reviews. I soon found out why, they've got top of the line products and top of the line customer service to match. For me, it's a very special occasion store, for right now, but would love to frequent them when possible. Sometimes, you have to pay a little more for quality, and deservedly so at Gariani. My latest trip to Gariani was about a month after my initial trip in February. This time I needed a tie. And I initially went to Macy's to pick one out, but wasn't impressed really. And besides, this was a very special occasion tie. Remembering back to my initial visit, I knew Gariani's was the place I had to go to select this very special tie. Antony answered the phone when I called and said he had clients but would love to help me, so just come in. He was direct and professional over the phone. Really I knew that's where I wanted this special tie, so I went. Antony greeted me and I told him we had spoken earlier. I told him the tie was for a funeral, and that I wanted to look my best. He gave me about 2 or 3 great suggestions, but even though they looked great, they weren't quite it. Then I saw it, it was a beautiful purple tie with gold lines through it. (I'll post a pic later). That was it, I knew it was the one. I had to look my best for my Mom, she always liked when I looked sharp. Purple and Gold, she was dignified, creative, royal, and pure gold to me. And, I loved that Antony was compassionate, respectful, and understood how important this was to me because of how important my Mom was to me. I looked my best the day I laid my Mom down to rest, she would have loved my tie. If you haven't experienced Gariani's, do yourself a favor and go do it at some point soon. read more

My boyfriend and I are pretty bad at suit shopping and we heard a lot of great things about this place, so we decided to check it out. The owner son Ramzy helped us a lot, we brought in a suit that my boyfriend got from JCP and got it altered for cheap. Ramzy said that the pants alteration usually cost around $12, but he gave it to us for free. Also if you go here and mention that you know about them from online (yelp,) he even gives you discount! We got another suit (pants and jacket) and a shirt while we were there each 50% off. The suit that we bought cost $350 including alteration and the shirt that we bought was $50. All these items were half off! When we went to get the suit after the alteration. Ramzy didn't have them ready for us, so instead of making another trip out to Dallas. Ramzy said that he would shipped it to us (no charge) and throw in a few free ties. Update: The box of suits (the JCP suit and a Gariani suit), the shirt and the free ties came. They looked splendid, the suits came in a huge box that stand about 4ft 8in, the suits in it were hung perfectly !! The free ties from them are definitely of high class, real handmade silk ties! After being ignored by big name Brothers in a mall store, I jumped on Yelp and stumbled upon Gariani's. So glad I did! All the glowing reviews are absolutely on point! After working with Antony to find a suit for a family wedding, I'm confident that he's going to bend over backwards to make sure I look my best. The whole experience just exudes a level of customer service you don't find in most places. There are 2 reviews on this store, and it is mind blowing that there are so few, but the 5 stars are absolutely deserved, and I'm giving the same rating. Everything Amy and Michael wrote is spot on. I'll retell my experience here. It's monday, and I need a suit for a formal event my company is hosting by Saturday night. Right when I come in, I'm greeted by the very well dressed Antony. He looked positively excited to help me, his customer service is just outright refreshing. He immediately asks me what we're working with so he can help me better. I let him know that I'm not much of a suit expert, but I like trendy fashions. He jumps right over to the racks, eyeballs me for a quick minute, and pulls out 3 suits he is "just positive I'll love!" We chat about it's fashion, it wasn't exactly as trendy as I was hoping, but he also explained that a good middle ground is important in a suit, because the trends jump so quickly. He got me to start thinking properly about this suit being a long term investment and not just a trendy "moment" suit I'll never wear again in 6 mo's. He was right, and almost off the rack the suit fit amazingly well. He immediately addresses a problem with the shoulders, and asks me my situation timeframe wise. He says the shoulders aren't a problem to fix, but with the holidays, I couldn't have them fixed by Saturday. I was pretty bummed out, but Antony wasn't phased. He pulled out 3 more suits and said to give them a try. I put them on, and the shoulder problem wasn't nearly as bad. I loved them just as much. The lining on the inside is just incredible, the suits were light, fit well, and the fabrics were very nice. Really classy looks that weren't over the top, but also weren't your plain old black or gray suit. This is when he really impressed me: he talked me through why the shoulder problem existed for me, and explained that my frame was smaller, but my shoulders were broad (this was news to me, I've never felt like a very "broad shoulder" kind of guy). He said he had similar problems because we had the same frame. Then he proceeded to give me tips about buying suits for myself at other stores: "Always unstructured shoulders Ken, the suit will typically fit you, but your shoulders are much broader for a guy your height and weight than is typical. You won't go wrong as long as those shoulders are unstructured. Also, make sure to tell them that you need the shoulders fixed in this way: [insert tailor language I can't remember here]." You really can't make someone feel like you're helping them any more than when you give them advice about buying a suit in someone else's store haha! I was of course already sold on Antony and Gariani at this point, so I wasn't remotely interested in going to any other suit store ever. So we settled on a suit, worked out the price and timeframe, and I jumped in the changing room. I came out and Antony got to work with the chalk. He explained the old style of jacket heights in America vs the new styles in Italy, where the pant legs fall in both regions, and worked with me to get the right style I'd like. I like the italian style, so that wasn't difficult at all. While I was changing, he wasn't totally happy with the fit, so he asked me to try another suit someone had on hold but hadn't picked up in forever. I put it on, and we both laughed at how incredibly well it fit. He literally wouldn't have to chalk anything but the pant leg height for me! On one hand, I feel bad for the guy that had that suit on hold. If it fit as well as it did on me for him, he definitely missed out. On the other, I can't help but feel awesome about Antony's customer service. He really truly wanted to make sure I looked and felt awesome in a new suit, and went out of his way to make sure I was grinning ear to ear. Next, I told him how I'm a big fan of vests. He discouraged me from trying a vest, because the suit was so clean and he didn't want to complicate it. Turning down an upsell opportunity really clenched it for me that he was just doing his absolute best to make sure I loved the look of the suit (and everyone else did too). Then he paused, said "Y'know, if you went with straight black..." and rushed off to his vests. He pulled them out and frowned, because all the ones he had were too large, and weren't just plain black. Then he looked really excited, rushed off to some other suits (at this point I'm zipping around behind him just trying to keep up), and pulled a black front (silver back) vest from a suit package. He exclaimed: "if this fits as well as everything else, I'll be amazed!" I put the vest on, and we both just died laughing, because once again, the fit was perfect. He tossed the jacket on me quickly and just beamed. We zipped over to a mirror, and both were thrilled. Seriously, give him a shot if you're in the market for suits! I needed a nice suit for a Saturday occasion and searched yelp for a recommendation. The reviews for Gariani were all positive and I decided to start there. I have almost zero patience for condescension with retail staff but I found just the opposite at Gariani. I quickly explained my situation to Antony and in about 15 min we had found a suit that worked for me. I am a larger guy so I was impressed they had something off the rack in my size. The suit need alterations done. I wasn't sure they could accommodate that request but Antony had the suit ready for me Saturday morning as promised. We visited Gariani Menswear this week and had such an awesome experience. Antony greeted us when we came in and asked how he could help. My husband needed some dress pants and sport coats. Antony looked at my husband and was able to guess his size very close to perfect! He picked out some pants and jacket combinations that we just loved. The clothing is fantastic! Anthony came through in a pinch!! About a week out from my significant other's big Christmas party for her company I found myself in need of a suit. I could have gone the rental route but being that I hadn't actually owned a proper suit at the time, I figured I should do some research. The obvious places I had in mind were Men's Warehouse, Express, etc. but after one Yelp search I saw Gariani Mensware and after reading all the reviews I thought I had to give it a shot! Couldn't have been greeted in a more warm and welcoming manner, Anthony knows his stuff, I'm not a very big guy and suits are always huge and boxy on me, not form fitting in the slightest, and I've never had any luck with them in the past. After explaining the situation, he basically went straight for a jacket that felt like it was meant for me. Tried on some pants and the rest is history.
