This misdiagnosis caused ongoing harm and forced other providers to rely on their flawed records. 3. Behavioral health shutdown -- In 2019, the behavioral health program abruptly closed after I raised concerns about medication errors. It felt retaliatory. 4. Medical record issues -- Open Door withheld MyChart access, delayed sending my records (requests from April and May only arrived in June), and the documents I received didn't match the versions my disability attorney got. 5. Constant deflection and dismissal -- Even after filing official complaints with BCBS, DOJ, and IDPH, my current provider suggested I find care elsewhere instead of addressing the issues. I'm posting this review so prospective patients are aware: ask detailed questions, get copies of all records, and be ready to advocate strongly. Everyone deserves transparent, respectful care.

The people at the front desk were polite and smiled as they told us where to go to get to radiology. The check-in desk at radiology had a very attentive person who was quick to welcome us and get the paperwork going. We were seen about 5 minutes after check-in and the staff in charge of setting up the testing were courteous to my father, who is hard-of-hearing. The procedure took about 1.5 hours and I was able to stay in an adjacent waiting room with a tv, which was perfect as my 3-year-old was with me. After the procedure, the nurses took us to the exit and were very complementary to my father, who fell asleep during the testing. We ended up eating at the cafeteria downstairs and left feeling positive about the entire experience.

One nurse took the me to icu to wash up, bc my abuser covered me in throw up, I had CHUNKS of hair pulled out from his abuse. I specifically asked the nurse to chart this/ as it is critical for my case in court: nothing charted. I work in healthcare and this is absolutely ridiculous. Livid is to say the least. Trust as a pct, I understand how busy it is in the ER. But you already admitted me immediately due to trauma. Why not chart appropriately? I wish I went to my own hospital. Insane.

Only downside for me is the cost of care for tests, or things not covered by insurance. (Check out alternative places, like Bright Light Imaging for CT Scans or imaging). The halls and main spaces are kept clean and in order. I especially appreciate the staff in the Breast Care Center. They are very caring individuals. I also find it is a perk to have a nice Starbuck's in the lobby here too, so you can treat yourself to a hot or iced beverage after an appointment. And, this is your reminder ladies (and men) to practice self care and get checked regularly each year. You matter! And this is a nice place to go when care is needed.

My father, a 78-year-old patient, was brought to this ER following a fall at his rehab facility…read more His medical record clearly documented a tape allergy with a specific notation that tape causes skin tears. Despite this being visible in his chart, staff applied standard adhesive tape to his arm. When the bandage was later removed, it tore his skin open, leaving a wound that was still unhealed ten days later and caused him significant pain for several weeks. This was not an emergency situation. He was there for a head CT and was stable. There was no reason his allergy could not have been checked before tape was applied to his fragile, Prednisone-thinned skin. I filed a formal complaint and received a response acknowledging the issue and stating that staff had been educated on allergy documentation. An apology and a staff training do not undo the unnecessary pain this caused my father. Documented allergies exist for a reason. Patients and families should not have to fight to have them respected.

A friend of mine also went to get an ultrasound and we had a similar experience... we both wanted an abortion and at the end of the visit the nurse said a prayer for us which was weird because what if we weren't Christian? The nurse there wasn't very friendly she was very stern she didn't know that I also work in the medical field and when I shared some information she talked to me like if I was slow. she just wants to read her pamphlets and say her prayer and then when gave me these "helpful" pamphlets for support to be able to keep my baby... none of those places help you! I threw the whole paper away. All of this prolife information they give you and none of the places even respond when you want the help. In my opinion don't even tell them you want to abort because it's just awkward and not friendly in there. It's just a Christian nurse that wants you to bring a baby full term and doesn't care about what happens after.
