My teacher was excellent, friendly and I learned a lot! The only difficulties I had was the first week of my class I could not find the room and I asked staff members that tried to help, but didnt really know where my classroom was located and once there I found out the room had changed, but was not notified of this. This wasn't a major issue, just a bit frustrating the first week there. I will definitely be back for more classes!

This was my very first visit to Grabber. I booked my appointment for a mani online, it was an easy…read moreprocess. When I arrived, I saw mostly students, not many clients. I waited less than 5 minutes after checking in at the front desk. After meeting my manicurist, Jessica, she took me to the handwashing station. It looks like the machines to dry your hands in a public bathroom, but with real, cold, water. Jessica suggested taking off my coat, watch, and rings. When it was finished, she handed me a paper towel to dry off. We then went to her station. The stations are small, but no different than any other salon. She started off with several questions about my expectations for service. We talked about what shape and color I wanted, and she made suggestions based on the shape my nails were in. She then called her instructor over, she made suggestions, and we were able to start. We talked nonstop through the appointment, but she was sure to pause if she had a question about what I wanted. Jessica was gentle and careful. She complimented my choice of color several times. I chose a light color, so it required 3 coats to cover. Once I was finished, she called over the instructor again to approve the service. I was there for several hours, but the time passed quickly, so I didn't notice until I got to my car again. She even took a picture of my nails for her portfolio! I was very pleased with my experience, and I highly recommend Jessica at Grabber!

This Easter weekend is the first "student voice" plays in 15 years and I saw the first night…read more The plays are a collaborative skit from student performers and the student screenwriters. The dynamic gave the performers the ability to showcase their talents (dance, singing and instrumental) without losing the meaning the stories were telling. The plays were adult, contemporary, and emotionally moving. After the skits was a brief performer and director introduction plus a question and answer period. My only question is "why was this in the basement theater"... the small audience was nice to be part of, but a larger audience would be nice also. If you want something adult but college youthful to experience this is an excellent event to enjoy.

Everyone at the Luke and Beaufort, SC Campus is beyond reproach all care about their students. They communicate well and look after their students from day one, all the way to even after graduation. Webster University Main Campus however, and those that don't own up to their accounting mistakes and allow their "Alumni" to damage their credit call for this poor rating. My specific case of accepting poor guidance and lethargic action when the University's accounting department (along with the Department of Veterans' Affairs) made a mistake and caused me to incur negative credit charges as well as an extra $400 service fee, all because the four staffers at the Main Campus in St Louis took 4 months to figure out they were over paid. They admitted they made the mistake, to prove their point, they overnighted me a check for the difference to "make me whole"... They had no interest in paying the late fees incurred by their delayed response. All it would have taken to keep me from writing this review and more to come, would have been to simply apologize and reimburse me the $400 in fees... but your university couldn't bear to even respond to that request, much less write the check. Webster University will get bad press from me at every campus I come across the rest of my military career. It's not the 80pt Credit Score hit, or $400, but mostly the principles of being a school students should trust.

We were greeted when we walked in by warm, friendly staff who explained everything to us. I cannot rave enough about the swim instructors with my daughter. She made them work on night 1! As a behavior analyst, I was impressed with their skills with balancing rapport building and following through to push her. She was "that one" that was loud and screaming and no one was visibly bothered. Also before going I was skeptical of how much can really be done in 30 minutes with a small group of 3/4 year olds. I was also impressed with how quickly they move between children's turns, sharing attention with each one, and keeping the pace moving!

I'm sure some of this will come in due time but for the cost, more aggressive teaching would make me happier. I do however appreciate the warmth of the water and that it's not chlorine. That reeks havoc on black children's hair.

I then selected DCC due to the intimate nature and therefore the health protections and small class size that DCC provides. We have little to no interruptions like many of my friends and the communication is amazing. But the most important thing to realize is that DCC is not a daycare it is a community! The teachers do not see their role as a job but love the children and want to see them develop. Parents give of their time because they believe in the DCC and the community it creates. And the children see DCC as a home away from home and thrive. I could not recommend DCC more!

I recently went back for a quick Sunday mass and mass here was just as long and boring as I remember. The priests at this church don't even try to make it interesting. The homilies last forever and have little to no purpose nor are they thought provoking. Also, the church is cold. I don't just mean temperature wise. Something about this church is actually cold feeling. The stained glass isn't all that impressive, there's cold linoleum flooring, the decor is cold, the music is rigid, the greeters seem rigid. It's just....cold. I know it's Catholic and I basically just reiterated many of the things that most Catholics in their 20's complain about, but this place seems to be the embodiment of all things cold and Catholic. Not a good thing at all...but hey, if that's the sort of Catholic you are into, maybe you will like it here.
