I did they want me to come back and pay a second time I don't have that kind of money so if you don't have a lot of money, don't go to South Meadows hospital they are ridiculous. They treat them and treat them. That's their motto.

It is a beautiful and impressive building. Very new, very spacious throughout, lovely decor. The calm vibe there is achieved by the large inviting areas, the soft color schemes, the large appropriate artwork and so much space. Hallways are wider and everything looks fresh and clean. Waiting areas have a small coffee station, a selection of fun, comfortable chairs. Top this off with attentive and pleasant staff. Center addresses cardiology and breast concerns. These are situations that can be stressful but they have achieved the most calm and pleasant environment for these appointments. Kudos to all! Lots of easy and parking close to the building plus a small golf cart style little shuttle is there in the lot to assist as needed. Nice! Staff told me this building of just a year old. I was beyond impressed with every aspect of my visit here today!

I presented myself to the Renown South Meadows ER at 5:15 AM on a Sunday morning. I was promptly admitted and was quickly seen by an ER doctor who talked to me about my symptoms and did a thorough exam. After the exam, he ordered a CT scan and some labs. The results came quickly and the ER doctor soon let me know that he had spoken to the on-call surgeon who was coming in to personally look at the test results and examine me. The surgeon arrived in short order. She was amazing. She was smart, caring, and had a wonderful bedside manner. I followed her recommendation and agreed to an urgent surgery. She had everything scheduled within a short period of time. She also did an excellent job communicating my condition and surgery results to my husband. After surgery, I was transported to the telemetry unit. I couldn't have had better care from my RN's and CNA's. They were all caring, smart, and compassionate. They listened to me and did their best to help me get better. As a matter of fact, everyone from Renown who came into my room to do anything (the phlebotomists, housekeeping, the kitchen staff) were amazing. I attribute my quick recovery to the excellent care I received from my medical team of doctors, nurses, and the rest of the Renown staff.

If you press 0 to bypass it, it says "transferring to the operator" and then hangs up on you. If they call you, you still can't get a human. You are called by a computer and have to play more games. If you go to their website to try to schedule an appointment, EVERY attempt ends with, "we have no providers, please call...." so you're stuck once again. I have three referrals from the VA to this place. I'm going to cancel all three and go elsewhere.

6/10/2024- Had a…read morefollow up with my nurse practitioner I've been seeing for over five plus years.. Follow up was to go ver the results of my thyroid biopsy and also my echocardiogram .. (over two weeks ago-5/23).. Both results were a relief and no fluid around or near the heart.. and biopsy was benign.. My downgrade of stars- as much as I enjoy my NP over the years, I'm really disappointed with lack of response .. I anxiously awaited the results and even though I read them before it being viewed, I never heard back .. This happened late last year as well.. I called and left messages and no response. I think it's time for me to move on and will be seeing a new MD.. Hopefully, one that will respond in a timely fashion..

I must've forgot to mention at my initial visit it was on the job, so a workers comp claim form was needed so I had to go back to request one then pick up, and staff again were super helpful with everything! Multiple apologized for the mixup but quick to get it filled out & called when it was ready too. I hope I don't have to visit again, but would if an emergency happens!

I refused pain meds at first because i have diverticulitis. They talked me into some morphine. And of course, the pain subdued. Doctor comes in tells me nothing's wrong which clearly something is wrong or I wouldn't have a fever or such bad pain. upon release. The notes said I did not have a fever they never took my temperature. It is noted in my release papers that I said I didn't have a fever. Blood was taken along with a CT scan. They sent me home with that kind of pain and said I needed a colonic basically passing it off as being stopped up. That's not the problem. I have a fever of 101. Which in most instances tells people I have a bacteria somewhere. No antibiotics were prescribed. When I called and asked as they told me to do if I needed them, they said come back so I could pay them more money. Don't trust them. I don't think they know how to read a CT scan. I had a blockage, discovered at a different hospital. There moto is treated and street them. Thanks for nothing.

Very busy office- Office is very small - one couch (that seats three) and one comfy sofa chair- Ring the buzzer and wait until the technician lets you in. Paul the technician- knowledgeable- professional- acknowledges both customer and spouse- assistant was also helpful. The DH recently switched pulmonary providers so it's best to get a new baseline and have it documented. Honestly, I am very grateful and have a deep appreciation for the specialized medical field- It has been like night and day when the DH was diagnosed with sleep apnea and treated properly. Thanks for the great service you provide and to know how many lives you are extending..

I have to take a multitude of supplements in order to fall asleep and then have poor sleep quality all night. Dr. Gentry seemed very dismissive and unsympathetic to my concerns, stating she takes a lot of the same supplements I do. She basically told me to just read a book that she recommended and dismissively said I could schedule a follow up appointment if I wanted to. Considering that it cost me $130 for her to tell me to buy a $13 book on Amazon, I went ahead and canceled the follow up. I'm reading the book and it's fine, I guess.
