I ended up having a friend drive two hours just to bring it to me. I was also told that buying tickets on-site would be cheaper, but that was not true. The price was basically the same as buying online. The kids spent most of their time at the pool, which they enjoyed, but unfortunately the jacuzzi was not working.

Based on my experience, this company aggressively promoted its vacation membership(time share) using promises that did not match the actual service provided. The sales presentation sold easy-to-book vacations, discounted cruises, and desirable resort availability that would be easily accessible. In reality, once the membership was purchased, the promised value and availability were not there. The sales tactics I experienced were extremely aggressive. The presentation was filled with promises, incentives, and verbal assurances that made the program sound simple, valuable, and flexible. For approximately 9 months, I attempted to use the service and make a reservation, but AH repeatedly failed to provide the vacation access or simply return calls. Instead of delivering what I'd already paid for, the company continued attempting to use high pressure tactics to buy additional points and upgrades. I sent a formal written request for immediate cancellation in additional to no less that 10+ direct calls for a full refund. Ascendant Holidays has ignored that request and has failed to provide a meaningful response to my communications.I believe Ascendant Holidays misrepresented the value and usability of its vacation program, used heavy-pressure sales tactics to secure the purchase, failed to deliver the services as promised, and then failed to respond appropriately when I attempted to cancel and resolve the matter. This experience has caused financial harm, wasted time, and significant frustration.I strongly warn other consumers to stay away from Ascendant Holidays. Do not trust verbal promises, polished sales presentations. Based on my experience, I feel consumers should avoid Ascendant Holidays and I cannot recommend this company.
