**Avoid This Company at All Costs - Terrible Experience from Start to Finish** I wish I had listened to the many negative reviews about Orlandovacation.com. Against my better judgment, I decided to give them a chance--and I deeply regret it. The only helpful person throughout this ordeal was DeeDee, who was kind and responsive, but unfortunately, she didn't have access to the systems that actually mattered (like rental homes or ticketing). I booked a rental home for my family well in advance, expecting a smooth check-in after our cruise. Instead, I didn't receive *any* information about the property until just two hours before check-in, despite multiple attempts to get in touch for confirmation. I was left completely in the dark, not knowing if my family--including my husband and in-laws--would even have a place to sleep that night. It was embarrassing and stressful. Trey finally told me that due to an error on their end, the home I initially booked was no longer available. He promised to "find" us a replacement--*hours later*, we were placed in a home that was nothing like what we reserved. It was outdated, clearly much cheaper, and absolutely not comparable in quality. To make matters worse, no one has followed up with me about a refund, a discount, or even an apology. As a short-term rental host myself, I would *never* treat guests the way this company does. You don't leave families guessing where they'll be sleeping just hours before check-in. I was so stressed about the situation that I couldn't even enjoy time with my family at Disney Springs. The anxiety this caused completely overshadowed what should've been a relaxing part of our vacation. To top it off, I had to call and email multiple times just to get our Disney tickets delivered. DeeDee did her best to help with that, but it shouldn't have been such a struggle. Trey showed no urgency and barely communicated. He hadn't even arrived at the office by 11 a.m., while my family was left scrambling. I'm currently pursuing a refund and, unsurprisingly, haven't received any response from Trey or anyone else. Bottom line: this was a nightmare. I will *never* use Orlandovacation.com again, and I urge anyone considering them to look elsewhere--Airbnb or any other reputable service would've been a far better choice. Do not use this company I had my reservation planned over 6 months prior and the day before at 6pm the reservation was canceled. They said they refund me the money and they have not on top of that Trey Duling the owner promised a $200 check for the issues that happened after I complained that my party of 12 was going to be stranded and I have yet to receive anything and he's ignoring my emails along with my lawyer that I had to hire. I booked 4x tickets for Universal Studios Florida along with 4x Express Passes during the Christmas holidays. However, the Express Passes were unexpectedly canceled the next day. Given the holiday rush, there was no point in visiting the park without the Express Passes, so I immediately contacted customer support (via calls and emails) to cancel the tickets as well. Unfortunately, despite my efforts, the tickets were neither issued, canceled nor refunded. For over a month now, I have been consistently following up, insisting on refunding my money, but no resolution has been provided. This is the date that Hurricane Helene hit and we went to the park during the day in the rain storm. Universal Studios cancelled the Halloween Horror Night and closed the park due to the Hurricane. I purchased 4 Walt Disney World tickets at the beginning of February and It is now March 12th and I am going to Disney on March 24th. When I call the number on their website, someone always answers, but the response to my questions is always "I will follow up for you" and nothing happens. The worst experience I have had with a company. I bought Disney World tickets months in advance. I selected the email tickets option that was available while purchasing the tickets. I never received the tickets via email. I received one email from them stating: "Your arrival for your vacation to Orlando is scheduled for 04/05/2022. The final payment is due in two days and will be charged to your credit card. For customer service...please call 800-633-7108. If you have made payment in advance or paid by money order/bank check, please disregard this notice." I disregarded it because I DID BUY IN ADVANCE $1000.00 Two weeks before we were scheduled to leave, I called them to inquire about where my tickets were. I could not reach anyone and I tried 4 different times, left a voicemail for them to call me back, and emailed. They never called me back or emailed me back. I finally reached someone 1 day before we were supposed to go to Disney and she said they "tried to reach you to get paid to MAIL the tickets to you."....First, No one ever tried to reach out to me, second, why would they not get shipping payments at the time of purchase like a normal company...why did they have an email tickets option at all if that was not available? Then she said that she could not help me and that I had to wait until the next morning to get help. She gave me an extension and told me that they opened at 8 am. I called 4 times and only got voicemail. I left a voicemail to call me asap and no one called me. Do not trust this company! The service is the poorest I have EVER encountered. I ordered 6 day WDW tickets on Nov 29, 2024 and I STILL do not have them! I have called, emailed, and used the chat feature over and over with no avail. I've spoken to Dee Dee by phone and email and I have emailed owner, Trey. Dee Dee continues to tell me they're working on it or that the reason the tickets weren't fulfilled was because of the holidays or that they have to process by hand, etc. There is always an excuse! I've created online tickets and the chat always says someone will reach out to me, yet they never do. I've got over $2000 tied up in these "tickets" that I have yet to receive. his home was in a good location, close to many things. It was very clean, which is a plus. There are a few things that we would suggest. There are no bath mats or rugs in the bathroom downstairs. (There were only two of us, so we had no use for the upstairs on this trip). The bathroom floor is tile and VERY slippery when stepping out of the shower. We had to lay towels on the floor. There is also no mat inside the shower, which is also slippery when wet. There were only three spoons and four forks in the kitchen. If there had been more people with us, we would have had to take turns eating. I would suggest adding more silverware since the home can accommodate eight people. It is great to have a laundry area; however, being on the second floor isn't very feasible. Since there were only two of us, and we used the downstairs bedroom and bath, we had to carry everything upstairs to wash. There are no laundry baskets in the home that would make carrying laundry upstairs easier. This is the home that was assigned to us for two people, this rental agency picks the home for you. Therefore, it was not very practical having an upstairs laundry facility. I have bad knees, and had to have my husband take care of the laundry since I am not to use steps. Although the home was extremely clean, the walls did look bad. There were many places where nails were sticking in the walls (where it appeared there used to be pictures), and many places had fresh paint to cover nail holes that didn't match the original paint at all. I know this is a cosmetic issue, and did not interfere with the actual stay in the home - but it does make the appearance of the home a bit 'ugly.' This is the first time we used this particular rental agency. I am not saying we would never use it again, but I would probably go back to using what we normally use first before using this - reason being you can actually see the home you are getting and know what it has to offer before you actually pay for it. That is one downfall of this rental agency - you don't know what you are getting until AFTER it's paid for. read more

As the date of our trip is now approaching, and I hadn't heard anything from the company, I called them to confirm they would be sending the tickets to my email. I was informed that the tickets I purchased (for which I have a receipt), were actually going to cost me $400 more than I paid if I wanted to keep the tickets at four days, or I could take 2 day tickets for what I had already paid. They would not budge on this even though they sold me 4 four-day tickets at an agreed on price which I had paid for in full. Very bad experience. I booked a home a year in advance and paid the balance in full a month ahead of when we were to be there. Which I booked in 2021, paid in full in May 2022, and scheduled to go in June 2022. They emailed me and told me the property was in foreclosure and they had to refund me my money two weeks before we are scheduled to leave. Now I am trying to find somewhere else to go, but with short notice, I have had a hard time. Will never trust them again and will not recommend them. I ordered tickets for Disney, Universal, and a hotel over three weeks ago. When I noticed that they charged for the hotel and not the tickets, I called because I was concerned. Low and behold, they sold out of the tickets and no one notified me that they were sold out. It's a good thing I called or we would have found out after we were already down there. When I ordered the tickets and hotel, I though I was reserving the tickets, but that apparently is not the case and it does not state this anywhere on there site. When I called they told me that they had no vacation homes available so they refunded my money. Just so I'm clear they overbooked, failed to properly managed or update their site and realize two weeks after I booked that they had no homes available. No one contacted me via phone. I was sent a email advising my reservation had been canceled.I called two days straight requesting to speak to a supervisor with no success and no resolution. One of the call takers even told me to be proactive and find a place to stay before hanging up on me. I have 8 adults traveling with no accommodations. That is 8 plane tickets which were booked the day after the vacation home. I have never experience this level of non professionalism in my life. (Unheard of these days!) On a couple of occasions I had the pleasure of speaking with "Gladys". She is absolutely fabulous! On top of providing excellent customer service, she has a great personality, makes you feel like a VIP customer and she makes sure that she provides the best information. Absolutely horrible. Rented a 2/2 home. Was not told it was a condo on the third floor. The pictures you see on their website for the unit you are interested in, is not what you get. This condo was severely outdated. Right down to the huge tube style TVs. The master TV didn't even work. There was mold/algae on the patio, ants in the kitchen and bathrooms. AC unit has a sign on it saying not to take it below 75! In July! Not ok. Mold on the couch pillows. The say they supply all linens. This is not true. They provided 6 towels, 1 hand towel and 1 wash cloth for 6 people for 5 days!!!!! I called and spoke to the property manager and they brought out more hand towels and put ant traps to added a new tv but left the old one I spoke with Kay at Orlando Vacation (I was told she was the manager) and she was going to move me to a unit that I I was lead to believe I was renting. She was supposed to call me back. That was two days ago and 5 voicemails later. Never ever again. I will be filing a report with BBB and anyone else I can think of. Before we even arrived, my parents received emails to redirect them to other houses than what they thought they had rented. Amusingly enough, after the vacation, they received survey request on the original home that they had rented. Needless to say, we ended up at 3136 Yellow Lantana Lane (Encantada Resort). 1. The house was very dirty. Before we arrived, my mother had spent several days trying to get it to habitable. But it was still questionable when we arrived, as follows: a. The hand rail was sticky and gross, no idea what was on there, but it was gross; b. The carpeted areas had several unrelenting stains of various colours (both on the stairs and the bedroom floor); c. There were a few yucky bugs that i would describe as a cross between house flies and mosquitoes; d. The non-ensuite (second floor) shower didn't drain. We did email the mgmt company about this but because it was a Friday, no body arrived until Monday to solve. This resulted in five adults sharing one shower. They did fix it on the Monday; e. The blankets and pillows in the additional bedrooms were musty - a cross between a lot of dust and damp mold. This really set off my allergies requiring to clean all my bedding the day I arrived and run to Walmart to grab those dry cleaner sheets to clean up the pillows. Of course, we knew we would have to clean our items during the time we stayed there, but, having to clean them upon arrival is a less than i would've expected; f. The dishware provided - specifically garage sale pots and pans, required a thorough cleaning before use; and g. The couches on the main floor were well worn and had some questionable stains; h. Some of the towels (which were provided and white) had questionable stains on them. Other deficiencies to be aware of (not "as advertised" components): 1. The "pool" in the backyard had one chair. Thats right, one chair for 5 people, and as such, I considered this to be a completely unusable component. It was rather upsetting as every other house I walked by seemed to have a full patio set (how lucky for them!). It was also not heated as that was additional upgrade. 2. The backdoor did not have a screen door. Also seems like a small issue, but the impact was that you couldn't open the only door on the main floor to "air the house" out (or get the damp smell out) because there would be no way to stop bugs from coming in. 3. The dryer was dangerous: When you opened the dryer door, the cycle did not stop - so it kept "drying"when the loader door was open (you had to move it to 0 time in order to stop the cycle). It also stopped working part way through the week (stopped heating up and drying). 4. The code we were given for the security gate at the front didn't work. Luckily, someone else was able to give us a code to get in and out, but the code the company gave us did not open the front gate. 5. The TV was at best a 30" TV about 10 feet away from the couches - glasses are required! 6. There was no internet. I always wonder in this day and age what location in the first world doesn't offer internet. This required us to walk up to the clubhouse to even use email to contact the company for deficiencies. So, lets just review, the advertisement said this: No matter what home you occupy, you'll have all the space and amenities galore such as a fully equipped kitchen, multiple bedrooms and baths, living and dining spaces, multiple TV's, wifi, and best of all your very own private swimming pool. * Spacious single family detached homes constructed since 2002 *was a townhouse, but constructed within the last 10 years, just not loved. * 15 minute average drive time to Disney World *yes, about that * 1,700 sq ft up to 3,200 sq ft in a 3BR/2BA, 4BR/2BA or 5BR/3BA unit *definitely 1700 ft. 1 partially useable bathroom * your own private swimming pool that can be heated *it can definitely be heated if you paid more * screened in lanai with pool furniture *If you consider one plastic chair to be pool furniture, then this will work for you. * full kitchen, great room, dining area *well, the kitchen fit one person, but it had all these rooms * refrigerator, microwave, stove, oven, disposal and dishwasher *expect the bottom of the line items here. * all pots and pans as well as dishes, glassware and silverware *expect to clean these before use * coffee pot and toaster *expect the bottom of the line items here. * Laundry room with washer and dryer *well used, and dryer didn't work for part of the week * all linens and extra towels *expect to have to clean these * sofa bed in the great room *expect this to be of questionable origin * No shuttle service *agreed * Wholesale prices on all theme park tickets *not possible - as we learned, you can't get certain tix at discount, unless you want to sit through a time share presentation. * 100% satisfaction guaranteed *I would say that we were not satisfied.
