This ramen restaurant not only serves rich, flavorful bowls of noodles but also surrounds you with stunning decor that makes every visit feel special. The inviting atmosphere pairs perfectly with the delicious ramen, creating a dining experience that's extremely satisfying. Quick service that was friendly and prompt. Definitely coming back when I'm in New Jersey.

This is a really good ramen spot! Got the Sakai wings that were super juicy and crispy. The sauce is a very unique flavor, in between a Tabasco, Carolina bbq, and buffalo flavor. The Sakai ramen is solid. I added $1 for spicy. They were super generous with the meat here! You get both cha siu and chicken. Everything was super affordable. It's great spot for a date. It took quite a while for us to get our ramen though despite it being not too busy. I'd come back here again.

It was a super cold day in NJ and I was seriously craving ramen. This spot hit the spot. I got their #1 with spice and it was delicious. The broth was rich, the noodles were perfect, and the spice gave it a great kick without being overwhelming. Super filling too, which was exactly what I needed The vibe inside was really nice and cozy, though I was surprised it wasn't busier considering how good the food was. Definitely worth checking out. I'll be coming back whenever I'm in town!

3rd or 4th time coming here! The people are so nice. We came in around 15 minutes before closing. Even though they were rushing us a little bit (understandably), they were still polite and sweet! The fries are also surprisingly crispy. Ramen itself was okay this time.

We were in the area for the weekend and were craving ramen. Somehow we found this place in the back of a business plaza (thanks to some helpful signage) and decided to try them out. We were greeted immediately and seated quickly. We started off with the Sakai wings as an appetizer. OMG these wings were hot and fresh! The sauce was like a mild hot sauce. They were so good I almost ordered another order of wings. I had the shoyu ramen. I added an egg and made it spicy for $1 more. I thought the noodles were the perfect texture! The spice level was pretty mild. Would have liked a bit more heat and overall more flavor in the broth. It was decent. I'd like to come back to try a different ramen and also the boba tea!

Hubby decided to take me on a surprise date night after a long week!!! He knows that I love ramen and it was a cold day. We enjoyed this cozy ramen spot in Secaucus. The host/ waitress was very friendly and was kind enough to explain what some of the menu options were and so we decided on trying the Takoyaki fish cakes. The food came out the kitchen nice and hot. Everything was seasoned well and the spicy level on the miso ramen was perfect!! The decor was cute and cozy with great anime art over the walls. I shazamed the music to find that they were playing some funky sounding K-pop...I loved it! Prices were average and we had a nice time discussing all the cool art and delicious food!! We will definitely be back

Located right in The Plaza in Secaucus, it's tucked in the rear, by the GNC. It's quiet, surrounded by the trees and very relaxing. I opted for the Sakai ramen and requested it spicy. It hit the spot on a cold rainy day. I also opted for the special that came with an appetizer and a drink. It's the best deal. The Oko fries were great, as were the chashu buns and the shumai. The lychee iced tea was wonderfully refreshing. My dad is a very picky eater and he approved so I know I'll be coming back here a lot! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very sweet and explained everything to my parents. We really enjoyed our lunch here.

They don't have a lot of variety. I didn't enjoy my dish as the bottom of the plate had too much sauce and I don't like soupy rice. The chicken wings were bland and the sauce was too watery. My partner loved his soup said it had a great kick. Go try for yourself.

Decent ramen place with hearty portions. We got the vegetable gyoza, vegetable ramen and the oko fries. The oko fries were so good. The broth for the ramen was wonderful. The gyoza were also good. Our server was very accommodating as well. The interior was so cute and cozy.

MMMMM... so good! Iced Lychee Tea and N1. Sakai Ramen . Make sure to try it spicy for me I can not handle spicy any more.

Mmm... so good! Perfect meal on this cloudy day. The lychee ice tea and N1 . Make sure to try the spicy version for me. I can not handle spicy any more. The hostess is very nice and the anime theme made me happy!

! Was slightly worried due to the low rating, but very happy we gave it a chance. The service was superb, Very friendly & accommodating staff. Ordered the sakai ramen and added spicy to it. Flavor was good, chashu was a bit too fatty for my liking, but had a good flavor. Ambiance is okay, could be decorated a bit cuter, but great for a quick stop to warm you up from the cold!! Recommend if you're looking for delicious ramen in the area~!

Don't miss Sakai Ramen just because it's tucked in the back. This was my second time here, and I was impressed each time. The restaurant is cozy in an unassuming space, and the wait staff is very attentive. The food comes out pretty quickly, and the ramen is served with a nice wooden ladle that makes it much easier to consume the broth. I had the shoyu ramen with a soft boil egg added, and it really hit the spot. I look forward to coming back soon!

Very rich ramen with lots of toppings. The only downside is a bit slow service. Other than that I highly recommend this place.

A few of us had been talking about trying it for a while, and it totally lived up to the hype. The vibe inside was welcoming and comfortable, and the whole hot pot experience made lunch feel like something fun and different instead of just a quick meal. We picked a broth and then ordered a bunch of meats, vegetables, and noodles to share. Everything tasted really fresh, and the broth was full of flavor from the start and got even better as we kept cooking. It's the kind of place where you end up trying a little bit of everything, and it's perfect for a group because everyone can customize their own bites. We also appreciated that it didn't feel rushed, even though it was lunchtime. Service was great too. The staff was friendly, checked on us often enough without hovering, and helped explain options for anyone who hadn't done hot pot before. That made a big difference, especially with a bigger group. By the time we finished, we were already talking about coming back. I definitely plan to return soon with my family, and I can also see myself bringing a few colleagues here as well. It's a great spot for catching up, doing a casual group lunch, or just getting a really satisfying meal.

The menu kind of reflects this struggle too, as it can't seem to decide if it wants to offer more traditional Japanese sushi-ya fare or something more innovative. As a result, we kind of wound up with the middling middle with our choice of 4 specialty rolls: 1) Saku: Probably the best and most traditional of our rolls with salmon and avocado inside, and ponzu, chives and crispy shallots on the outside. 2) Lobster: Not enough lobster salad inside to justify the overuse of miso-yuzu mayo, and just a whole ton of filler nonsense going on outside wrapped in pink soy paper. 3) Drop It Like Its Hot: Not spicy enough to justify the cute name. This should've been an easy slam dunk in flavor, but everything felt kind of bland and flat. Maybe due to the lack of nori. 4) Crunch Drunk Love: Lots of fish, but again, not enough flavor. We also got the Edamame with Spicy Miso Butter, which was just OK--the butter was weirdly sour. I wouldn't order it again. In fact, I....wouldn't really order anything here again.
