First time here and had the sweet chili Korean fried chicken rice bowl that was sub-par. The "chicken" was super chewy and hard to eat. Everything else was just ok in the bowl - shredded cabbage, corn, and rice. The best part was the sauce itself. I've honestly could've made a better chicken bowl myself at home...and saved $19. And they have a plastic display of their dishes that received some oohs and aahs from other customers. A great marketing ploy. The line itself would have been enough to deter me from this place, but it probably does have some of the better food in the food court. Since they only have one order kiosk and people can take awhile, the wait is a little longer than desired. We enjoyed the tender garlic chicken rice bowl and the ramen bulgogi bowl, though they predictably caused thirst later on. Not a cheap experience but the food court is better than your typical fast food one. When you order you also take a beeper and you'll wait a bit to get your food. The seating doesn't seem that big but you can usually find a spot, not sure if that's because people don't linger or they do takeout and don't sit. The store has beautiful display of the dishes in glass cabinet. The menu posted in back wall. They have two self ordering kiosk. I ordered the beef brisket raymun. It was little pricey, about $20 for the bowl. The ramen was ready for pick up in under 10 minutes. Visually it looked really appealing. Taste wise didn't disappoint either. Great spot to grab a fast casual meal. Incredibly tasty and filling. I got the chicken topokki and the fried chicken was so delish. Had a couple yuck bites. You could clearly tell she was annoyed, didn't want to be there, getting snippy. Unfortunately, however good the food, that kind of "service" ruins the experience. Grabbed some delicious spicy chicken teriyaki ramen from the food court right beside H Mart on the bottom floor of the American Dream Mall. So good in fact I didn't even remember to take a photo of it - I practically inhaled it. Also bought a bulgogi onigiri and strawberry yogurt drink. The strawberry yogurt is only lightly mixed with yogurt so you barely taste any at all - it's practically strawberry juice. I'm not complaining, because it's tasty. The onigiri was my least favorite of the three but I was just trying it on a whim, because I've never had them. So not going to knock them since I'm not a connoisseur or anything. lol. However, I am a connoisseur of ramen and this ramen was fire! Ask to get it spicy if you enjoy a little heat. The teriyaki chicken is breaded and crispy and lightly sweet with green onions. I got mine to go so it was all packed up separately for travel. The broth is super flavorful, the noodles were perfect and the bokchoy and carrots were tender. Overall a huge hit and I highly recommend you give them a try! read more
