This is one of those food places where it feels normal to work on a laptop while eating. I've seen plenty of other people working from computers here I decided to do it too. I made my own bowl without protein and when you choose no protein they give you a little sad face ":(" but still tastes great without I think. I like the way the flavors blend together with the different textures. Next time I'll probably order double crunchy onions because they're too tasty. The portion sizes are also huge. Really I think I could split one poke bowl with my husband but sadly he's not a poke fan. I did get a strawberry flavored Swiss roll which truly wasn't all that. It had the airiest lightest texture but lacked that natural strawberry taste. It wasn't bad by any means but was reminiscent of strawberry Nesquik. So overall I left satisfied. Stopped by Sakana Poke & Soirée for the first time during my work lunch break and left impressed. The Aloha Ahi bowl was fresh, vibrant, and loaded with a generous portion of ahi. Flavors were clean and balanced, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared. I also tried the 16oz Red Bean Matcha--it was smooth, lightly sweet, and paired perfectly with the bowl. The space gives me Hawaii poke spot vibes--spacious, clean, and organized. The two-floor layout has plenty of seating, plus private rooms for meetings or small gatherings, which is a nice bonus. NOT JUST A POKE SPOT! I think it would be easy to see this spot listed on Yelp and think of it as a good take out spot. And while it absolutely fits the bill for that it is so much more. Starting with the food: the bowls are delicious and fresh and easy on the stomach. Lots of options for base, protein, sauce and toppings makes it a good choice for anyone to curate exactly to their specifications. That being said if you're like me and want a little bit of everything that cost can add up quick. Overall tasted delicious and no complaints Drinks: they offer a large range of coffee and tea drinks as well as refrigerated options....anything you would find at a standard coffee shop you will find here plus some fun spins on things and shop specials! Space: now this is where I get to this business being so much more than simply a take out restaurant.... walking in you see a cute, clean space. Limited seating downstairs but you can go upstairs to a much larger seating area. I think this space would lend to being a great area to work on your computer, study, etc. Given the shops large range of coffee offerings I could see coming here and grabbing a drink and sitting in the cute space to be productive. After experiencing them at a Yelp Event which turned me and Judy on to them we were close to Benson running errands and lunch hunger kicked in. We said Poke Bowls from Sakana! We both agreed we're just wanting a good bowl, freshness fast, as we still had more errands to run. We ordered and love the speed the bowls are prepared. We got the Aloha Bowls no extras. It's got a base of macaroni and it sounds weird but it works and the pineapple jalapeño sauce has a subtle and nice heat. Seaweed Salad, Slaw, pineapple chunks and the Tuna Poke, oh man served chilled with a fresh avocado ball at its center. So good, so healthy, so so tasty, so fast served, and so devoured by both of us! We may make this an every 2 week hump day bring home dinner. This little hidden gem has great space for meetings. My aloha ahi bowl was yummy! I don't like pineapples in my food generally but it gave it a nice twist. Service was quick, you order on the screens. They also have what i would call a mini favorites to shop from. Brought back some snack memories from my childhood in Japan. There are grab and go options as well. This place is next to the Great Harvest on Benson. They have coffee too. The only downfall would be the one single toilet. read more

Friendly staff, delicious food and drinks, and a great vibe of a place to hang out. It's bright and airy and can fit your need if you're getting work done or meeting with friends or going on a casual date. I like the idea of being able to rent spaces within as well. I LOVE that they do a build your own bowl menu. There always seems to be something I don't want or something missing on a fixed poke menu. Everything is super fresh and service has always been very friendly. The second floor feels like a meeting/work space, but downstairs has tons of natural light, is clean, and quiet with ambient music. Fantastic place! read more

New poke spot dropped this past March! Sakana is located in the Metro Mall & brings us a beautiful space with lots of room for remote work. We don't have a dedicated poke bowl spot quite like this one in town so it's definitely a very welcomed addition! I visited early April when they were still in the soft opening phase & poke bowls were build your own. While the DIY bowls are still an option they've also added their own creations of signature bowls to the menu! I built a bowl with a white rice base, AK sockeye salmon, pickled jalapeño, pickled slaw, pineapple, avocado, crispy onion & a mango, pineapple, jalapeño sauce. The salmon and tuna they use in their bowls are wild caught, and most of the sauces are made in house. For my drink I ordered the special, which was a mango, passionfruit matcha. This is the perfect spot for a healthy grab and go lunch, or a convenient location to work remotely or host a meeting (they have a private room available). The space open and inviting, and the food is creative, fresh and delicious. If you haven't checked them out yet you need to this summer! This place is epically yummy. I came for poke and was a bit surprised when I spotted a La Marzocco. So basically they've got my favorite things. Thoughtfully crafted bowls and killer java. Beautiful remodel of an old retail place into a Poke Cafe. You can build your own bowl with your choice of base (white rice, brown rice, mac salad), protein (tuna, salmon, tofu, chicken), pick-ur-own sauce, and various toppings. I had the ginger soy tuna poke with pickled slaw and cucumbers. I'd prefer larger cuts of tuna pieces and perhaps a heftier portion for the cost of the meal. Otherwise , it was fresh and delicious! Service is incredible and friendly and food always comes out so fast and so fresh. Recently discovered your salted caramel latte... amazing! On top of that allowing pets (would assume only well behaved) is huge. My pup hates being left alone but is super good so long as he's in sight of me. What a great place. I have no idea why other reviews complained about prices. The prices are very much the norm now for much less quality food. Having options to customize and control the price is amazing! Food was excellent, fresh tuna, got the spicy mayo which is actually spicy. Got a golden milk for the drink which was really good. The vibe is cool. Ordered 3 drinks, a Strawberry Matcha Latte, Berry drink, Brown Sugar Chai and they were fairly good, 8/10. Ordered a "MYOB" make your own bowl with the slaw, white rice, ginger soy sauce, and chicken. This was below mid, 5/10, there was 6 small pieces of chicken and a lot of rice. The slaw and sauce looked nothing like their pictures on the kiosk. Lastly, ordered the Spam Tamago musubi and it was cold but it was ok. The service was alright.
