The woman's section as my wife explored was ok. The men's section on the second floor was truly sad. Keep in mind this is the Christmas season and place is hectic. Saks opened their store in American Dream's D section. It is a fantastic store spread over two levels. First floor has the all luxury brand stores, make up, perfume, and shoes. Second floor has men's apparel and shoes. Prices are super high because the luxury brands. Inventory is not bad, lots of variety available. I have been here multiple times to make online purchases returns. Never had any issues. Also got done within 10 minutes. Hope the store does well and stays in AD. read more

Just so you know, this is a luxury retail store so if you wanna just stop by as a passerby then that's okay too, it's a very clean store and super organized, of course, this is way out of my price range, but it's a nice place for the high end people who can afford these prices, I really like the artwork center though.. read more

Keep in mind that when ordering online they charge $10 for delivery and then $10 again for the return. They cancelled the dress I ordered and then the next one wasn't the right fit, but no cooperation on the store's part about waiving the return fee. read more

I'm very iffy about Saks due to multiple previous negative experiences with their customer service dept however this location was great. Online pickup is a breeze, the manager was very kind to adjust the price for me when returning an item for a different size that I got with an online offer. They made no fuss, they didn't try to beat around the bush or make you feel bad. It was a seamless process. The people in there were very helpful & made my experience here enjoyable. I purchased a pair of Valentino boots for $1000. The buckles were defective , they do not snap shut. After wearing it I realize the buckles were broken. I tried to return but both the store and Valentino refused to accept return because I worn it for an hour. They were inflexible and refused to acknowledge that the broken buckles were defect not a fashion feature. I definitely would not shop at SAKS ever again. read more

Bought a pair of dress boots from Saks Fifth Avenue. I tried them on, didn't like the way they fit and returned them. A few week later they returned them back to me saying they are in unsalable condition. They are crazy, the shoes are brand new, and they claim that a small scratch on the sole of the shoe makes them unsalable?! For all I know, they came that way. who looks at the bottom of a shoe. New arbitrary 30 day processing on returns announced in August 2024. I purchased a very very expensive evening gown which did not fit, and I immediately returned with their return label to FedEx. Saks sent an email saying it was received, and that returns are processed in 10 to 14 business days. It's been three weeks and no credit. A Google search cited a Reddit link, and this same situation is happening to many people. How they can arbitrarily change their policy and hold my big ticket item purchase money hostage on my credit card reeks of bad faith at best and fraud at worst. read more

Buyer Beware!! I ordered a dress online, tried the dress on one time, did not fit. Followed all return policy directions exactly. Dress was back in Saks possession in a week. A month later the dress is sent back to me with a statement that return was denied due to dress being damaged/worn/altered. Nothing was done to this dress! Multiple phone calls to Saks Customer Service, sent pictures, offered to bring in person to a store, every attempt on my part to have them relook at this dress was denied. Customer Service would not even give me a supervisor or anyone in a managerial level to speak with. Completely shut down. I had to go to my credit card company to have the issue resolved and thanks to them received my money back. Really a shame! The worst customer service I have ever encountered!!! read more

I love Saks! But the experience in this location was awful & disappointing. I spent $1000 on perfumes to find out a couple of days later I am allergic to them. Because I'm in retail and did not want to give them a big return my sister end up taking two of them. I went back to return the other two, the service was not the same as when I purchased them. They made me really uncomfortable, and the manager said the company cannot take this loss because the wrapping was open, but the perfumes clearly was not used.. I ask to speak to another manager or upper management only to be told. No one is available. I should've seen the red flags as they were unprofessional when purchasing , the sales associate had to return and re-purchase my perfume so that the commission can go to the right people. This is not customer service excellence and very disappointing Coming from a luxury department store. I would never shop in this location again! This is a new store. Sure it is empty but that's great for me. I don't have to look around for people to help me. As soon as you walk in literally everyone greets you. I love that the cosmetics counter is on the first floor considering Bergdorfs, Neimans and RIP Barney's were basement level. Cosmetics is an impulse buy and why wouldn't you want to be welcomed by pretty people?! I needed to pick up my Cle de Peau Mascara it took less than 2 minutes. Everyone was so friendly. Walked over to the Balenciaga department and everyone there talked to me. There is a keen sense of urgency I haven't seen in a long time and this is refreshing. This type of service wants to make you buy buy buy. When I made my purchase you will have to give them your info again even if you are in the system at their other stores. I think their client file is separate bc I've been a client at the SF and Beverly Hills store for years and they needed my email, address etc. Anyway, love shopping here and the American Dream Mall. read more

Service, stupid ppl reading from a script. I understand buyer beware, especially with final sales. I am wearing a pair of wool R. Lauren pleated, high rise pants right now, size 16. I ordered pair of R. Lauren high rise pleated denim jeans, size 14 marked down from $298 to $111. These "size 14" are so huge a tailor laughed at how oversized they are and would have to be totally remade. Totally not worth it. I called "customer care specialist" preparing to be disappointed, I explained, I said I'd be happy with an exchange or store credit. I was polite, professional, gave all correct order numbers etc. Of course they no, which I was prepared for because all of the online reviews are 1-1 1/2 stars. Very poor shipping service. I ordered a vest there and is taking over 11 days to ship to my house when I was advised it was 2nd day. This was not the first time. The 2nd time I ordered a moncler. The salesperson did not email me my order confirmation/tracking number. Was also promised 2nd day and it came late again. I almost didn't go here because of bad reviews I saw on Yelp and Google, but glad I did. I had to return an online item and also wanted to shop. The $5 parking charge is annoying considering the lot was quite empty. And...maybe the inventory isn't as extensive as in NYC. But the salesperson that helped me, Mabel, was cute as a button! She ran around the store getting me options to try based on my body shape and what I told I wanted. Mabel was fantastic!! read more

I ordered 3 sandals at a sale price. I was guaranteed that I'll receive it in 2 days. After 9 days I called and was asked about the order number and was told that it is just waiting to get picked up by a shipping company and is literally at the back off the store waiting. 2 days after I got an email stating that it was cancelled because it is out of stock. I called for an explanation and the only thing they tell me is that it happens.. Does that mean that it happens in this store that items that are ready for shipping gets sold to other customers rather than ship it to people who actually bought it, because they can make more money specially if it is not on sale anymore? Do not trust this company to actually deliver if you bought it at a sale price. They may have the tendency to be prejudice on selling the items based on how much you payed. I think this store is just a reflection of the entire "luxury wing." Nice idea but just not happening. I made a return of some purchases I had made from the SFA in Naples, FL (by the way...a beautiful store with a broad selection of merchandise given a South Florida location). After dropping off my returns I perused the men's department and couldn't find anything by Zegna, or anything mature for that matter. The sales lady I spoke to was lovely, but she told me that they no longer carry Zegna at this location as there was no call for it and "this is a fashion forward store." Ok...good luck with that in the Meadowlands with Garden State Plaza, the Shoppes at Riverside and The Short Hills Mall all within a 30 minute drive. Saks on line has free shipping and free returns and there's always Saks in NYC. This AD store will be a great drop off point for NYC purchase returns in the future. Free parking for up to 1 hour, easy access and no tolls. read more
