This review is mainly about bags and customer service since my visit there was short. Their bag section was surprisingly small. If you'd prefer to shop for bags/clutches/etc. at a store with lots of options, maybe go somewhere else since their inventory seems limited. Their customer service could be improved. The employees were either too busy gossiping or seemed bothered if you went up to them asking for help. I'm only giving them three stars because they had a lot of levels you could shop, they had a decent amount of items on sale, and the store for the most part, was clean and organized.

The Gold Knight - bought it online. Heavy gold (albeit unnecessary) box.

It's a fairly well-known fact that the vast majority of men are clueless and uncomfortable with anything having to do with shopping. I'm not one of those men. I actually enjoy it. And I do it a lot. My entire life. As early as I can remember. Even worked retail in college. I understand the "sales associate" mentality very well. All that said, I can't stand HOVERERS. The associates here are a combination of snooty fox meets den mother. That's fine, Neiman and Saks have that in common are part of their "aura" of elitism, but the ladies here HOVER....which is a complete turnoff. I walked in on the upper level and asked the first associate I saw to point me to men's fragrances. Me: Pardon me, but where is men's fragrances? Her: Oh, what are you looking for? Me: Men's fragrances. *blank stare* Her: Anything in particular? Me: Kilian. She decides to ESCORT me the 50 yards or so from jewelry to fragrances. WTF? Me: You really didn't need to leave your area or fuss about this. I'm really pretty self-sufficient and I only came to smell a few things and browse a bit. All you needed to do was point me in the direction. (after the first half dozen steps I suddenly remembered where it was anyway) Her: Oh, it's no problem. *smiling insincerely* We arrive to the counter and there are THREE more Persian women there - hovering, but at least this is (presumably) their department. I really just wanna be left alone and it's clear that isn't about to happen as I'm being perused like a rib roast in a lion's den. All the fragrance bottles are lined up so it's clear I can handle things from here - dear ladies.....but NOPE! They're asking me annoying questions and offering opinion I didn't ask for. ALL I need is my Beagle-like nose and a li'l space!! Not sure if theft is a problem at this store or they were sales-starved, but I didn't enjoy the whole, "you ARE gon' buy something today right?" vibe. I smelled two fragrances, rather than the nine or a dozen I had planned, thanked them - and left. They need to learn to read clients better. Make your introduction and offer as much - or as little - assistance as the customer dictates. Stop hovering! I prefer Neiman anyway for this very reason.

It is virtually impossible for me to find comfortable shoes. After trying multiple rounds of online shopping/returning and another in-person shoe store, I decided to come to shoefly. Rick understood my needs and was able to suggest styles of sandals, shoes, and sneakers based on my issues. He was very patient with all the shoes I tried on (I think I was there for an hour and a half). When we finally found a pair of sandals that fit, there was an area with stitching on the inside that irritated my foot, but he was able to take it to the back and smooth it down. At the end we had several successes and I am thrilled.

Finding a stylish shoe with a wide toe and narrow heel is ridiculously hard. It was such a different experience at Shoe Fly. Mbaye measured and found a perfect fit in a beautiful leather pump. He was extremely patient and knowledgeable. Shoe Fly carries brands that we had never seen before, and they fit much better than the typical Naturalizers and Clarks that all the department stores carry. Literally the first shoe he suggested ended our monthslong search for shoes.

Many of the shoes felt outdated and didn't align with the styles we typically enjoy purchasing. We were visiting the area and planned a full shopping day. We generally love DSW, but this particular location seems to offer a lower-quality or less trend-aware selection, perhaps the buyers for this store aren't keeping up with current fashion trends. The store was also fairly empty, which stood out, especially since it's located in a busy shopping center where other stores were bustling with customers. Another difference we noticed was that most of the staff were gathered near the registers. At other DSW locations, we usually see associates walking the floor and actively assisting customers. Overall, it was an okay visit, but not one that met our usual expectations for DSW.

I had a very disappointing experience at DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse…read more I am usually not the type of person to write a review unless it is for an exceptional experience or a truly negative one, but this visit stood out for the wrong reasons. I was in the store from 7:00 to 7:50 PM carefully deciding between a pair of Clarks and Dr. Scholl's shoes. A kind associate helped direct me to the loafer section, and after taking a quick trip outside to use the restroom since the store does not have one, I returned right at 8:00 PM knowing exactly which pair I wanted to purchase. Instead of being assisted, I was immediately met by a middle aged man who repeatedly told me the store was closed, even after I explained I just needed to quickly grab the one pair of Clarks shoes in size 7.5 that I had already selected and was ready to purchase. He refused to help me retrieve them or allow me a quick checkout, despite the fact that I had been shopping there minutes before closing and was prepared to pay. This felt extremely dismissive and like a complete lack of basic customer service. I understand store hours, but refusing a quick, ready to pay customer, especially one who had already spent time shopping, is unacceptable. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider returning to this location.

I really wanted to wear them to my cousins wedding and this shop came recommended. I originally thought the strap needed to be shortened, but the staff suggested a different fix. They told me that adding a pad under my foot and a non-slip band on the strap would solve the issue. It helped a little, but not completely leaving me somewhat disappointed. In addition to not receiving a complete fix, what really disappointed me was the service or lack thereof. The man working there barely looked up from what he was doing and never asked me to try on the shoe to see the problem for himself. He gave short, vague suggestions and seemed uninterested in actually helping. I had to walk back and forth to the shelves three separate times to find the products he mentioned, rather than him taking a moment to show me where they were. The whole interaction felt dismissive and rushed. The shop itself is tucked away inside Tysons Mall, so it is easy to miss unless you are looking for it. While it is convenient if you are already nearby, I would not make a special trip back. For a store that specializes in shoes, I expected more attention and care. The experience left me unimpressed and still struggling with the same pair of shoes.
