Other than the French fries, nothing on the buffet appeared vegan as all the vegetables had dead animals in them or were cooked in butter. And I'm trying to be honest and reasonable after this experience despite how we was treated and how the food taste during are first few minutes while then starting to wonder and then realize it may have been sitting for a long period of time. Bill shows $18 per person then $11 for child. Ok. Then bill shows $77 dollars cash or add $3 more dollars for using a card. So some how were charged I guess 12 dollars for tax. Or they decided to take gratuity out as my added expense on the bill with the options still listed in percentage at the bottom. Not sure how that makes sense or adds up cause it doesn't to me. "Yet I still tip" Then keep in mind it's a buffet. So we just got over charged. We all got water which we never needed refills and I tipped around 6 dollars with one added to left over bills with remaining change. ( Note I'm not discriminate or racist and I'm not a self righteous, self entitled hateful person.) The oldest looking waitress among the 3-4 that they have walking around the restaurant acted like she had is either a business associate or family sort of employee entitlement. So that same woman that took the money, from the black tray after the bill was paid was immediately given back to her at that time with more money added to the tray along with the change from the bill. She looked at me funny after giving her the black tray with the tip then looked at me again then looked at the tray and walked away, very slow looking at the tray that the tip was on like she was trying to figure out her life plan with that amount of money. Thought that was kind of weird but I thought wow, o well . So as I was leaving the restaurant as most all restaurants I try to acknowledge them which I normally do on my way out I say thank you. There was two of the waitresses that was there as the older Chinese woman is walking from the pop machine. I looked at her and waved and said thank you. "She actually rolled her eyes" "turned her head and continued to walking like I insulted her for giving her 6 extra dollars on top of there mystery charges for the amazing service of taking away a couple dirty plates. It was the way she acted boldly and ignorantly that build up to Disgust so bad with those 3 minutes. I wanted to punch her in the throat. I try to be respectful and giving to all waitresses and waiters and appreciate all that work and put forth effort at there job Considering those people- there jobs and there families are important as is mine. I try to give them fair tips from my hard earned money although sometimes in that moment some may not be deserving of it I still try to be understanding and tip regardless. So although I was overcharged, although the food wasn't all that great, telling each other it's sat for a long time maybe because it's late I guess making excuses for them. And although my wife and the oldest girl barely made it back to the bathroom due to having diarrhea. I still took my hard earned money and tried to give them a tip, and that rude, ungrateful, disrespectful self entitled waitress won them the grand prize of tell all about it. Would never have even complained about the food, The explosive diarrhea and dishonest bill. I would do what I always do and I just may have never go back. But in this case she is responsible for my complete and honest review from start to finish of this horrible restaurant. Congratulations. Please take your money elsewhere. Please don't let your family ingest any of the food that is sure to give you diarrhea within a hour from unknown time of exposure and current temp. And don't be victim of being over charged after we have as a total surprise and without an explanation. We stopped in to check out Sakura after seeing a TikTok video that highlighted the hibachi grill. Upon first impressions, the buffet was clean and offers a good selection of dishes for even the pickiest eaters. The hibachi had a variety of meats and vegetables but had absolutely no seasonings or sauces to choose from. Not a huge deal breaker, just odd. Where things went wrong was when the "chef" used the same spatulas he cooked the raw food with to transfer the cooked food to a plate. This is highly unacceptable and could have had serious consequences had we eaten the food. This is the reason for the one star. No amount of positives could overlook the poor food handling. This is a nice location at Myrtle Beach. We were trying to find a hibachi grill where you sit around the grill and the food is prepared in front of you but this one is just a buffet place but they do have a grill in the end where you can get you noodles sautéed with sea food or any meat they have in their counter. I tried the buffet plus the grill chow mein and man that chow mein was off the hook with some crab, veggies etc. The buffet price is ok not low or high but right at the middle with all the options they have available. This place is also good for vegans as i saw many veg options plus some desserts too. On the beverage they have couple imported ones plus some domestic. I would definitely recommend this place for groups or families if you just want to have a laid back evening get together where you have many options to choose from. read more

I rate this experience a 5, as the food quality and choice gets a 5, the service gets a 5, the facility gets a 5, and the value gets a 5! What part of our visit get something less then a 5? I have been going to this buffet restaurant for almost 10 years. They do quite a good job on seafood and vegetables with an accent on mushrooms and shrimp. They used to do a pretty good job on chicken but now they cook it so long that is tough and next to impossible to even cut with a serrated knife, much less chew.
