Big bowl of soup + dumplings
    Steven W.

I'm giving Sakura a 5 because I was pressed on time, the weather was cold and gray and I needed something warm and satisfying. They delivered. I cannot believe this is the old Japanese restaurant that I used to enjoy. Sad they're gone. The sunny server said any questions? I ordered hot + sour soup with dumplings. It's not really Chinese hot + sour soup but it's savory with lots of spinach and scallions and get this: 6 pork dumplings. For $8.95!! I'll be back to try something else.

Reviewing the food only since I ordered through Uber EATS. They had a BOGO buy one get one free offer and prices on menu were not high. I ordered the Korean bowl that was 10/10. It had rice, kimchi, bean sprouts, steamed spinach and i added chicken. The bowl was so flavorful and I enjoyed the spice. I also got the gyoza that were good and the Thai donuts were served with condensed milk. The portions size were nice.

Slipped in Saturday night just before the dinner rush and scored a table quickly. Service was fast and friendly, apps out in under 10 minutes after we sat. Edamame was plain, thanks to sriracha I added to give it some ummf, but the steamed veggie pot stickers hit the spot. My wife loved her Tonkotsu Ramen with perfectly cooked pork, and my Sakura Spicy Ramen with chicken, extra egg, and I added extra heat was exactly what I wanted. Our solo server crushed it, checking in often despite a packed house. Finished with Thai donuts, crispy, fluffy, and just what we needed to end our meal. Great new ramen spot in the neighborhood. We'll be back!

Ramen in Oakland Park - we have arrived! I loved this spot. Clearly they have a strong take out business from many drivers who picked up but I would give it a visit in person. The staff was super friendly and they had a bogo deal for sake in house. For dinner we started with the bao pork bun - which was good. Clean and not greasy! The shoyu ramen and the spicy sakura (tonkotsu) were our mains. Delicious! My husband commented this was the first ramen where he finished the noodles before the meat (note he ordered both char siu and pork)

Service was very attentive, first time trying this restaurant and it did not disappoint Foos was very good I has the Mango green tea with Lychee popping boba and Jelly Lychee , appetizer was Pork bao bun and entree Tonkotsu ramen with Beef and shrimp. It was all delicious. The restaurant was quiet for a Saturday night but nice quiet and cozy. Very chill atmosphere. I definitely will return.

Vegetable miso ramen is pretty good! The ramen was okay, but the soup was delicious. Loved the veggies that come with it.

5/20/25-Cute little place, service is really good. I ordered the shrimp shumai steamed. It was a little wet for me. At the end, she asked me how it all was . I mention that the shumai was little wet. She said everybody usually orders them fried and the kitchen didn't know how long to cook them for. Yuks Then I had the Ramen w/ the miso broth and xtra charge I added chicken . It was a big bowl, it had been sprouts, lots a scallions and noodles. It was served with a big black plastic spoon plus forks . It was all for me just ok. It's new so just must give another shot .

Yum. Yum. Yum. Sweet little spot in a large strip mall. As such, there's plenty of parking. We were greeted as we entered. The manager (owner?) was training a new server, so we had double the level of attention. Inside, the restaurant is cute and has an inviting atmosphere. There's a mixture of tables and booths. We started with fried shrimp shumai and crab Rangoon. Both were so good, that I'd consider making a dimsum-like meal of just apps. I enjoyed my miso ramen and my husband was quite fond of his spicy udon noodles with fried tofu. The boba teas are terrific, too. Happy to see this new place getting well deserved reviews! We will for sure be back soon.

We stopped by this new restaurant for lunch. They are still in their soft opening phase. But by the number of patrons and take out orders, they're already doing quite well. They have other things besides ramen -- as it's a mix of Asian offerings. Appetizers include pot stickers and bao buns. There are rice bowls and stir fry noodles like Yaki udon or pad Thai. And even desserts from thai donuts to mochi. But since there is "ramen" in their name, that's what we both ordered. We figured that is their specialty. My husband had their traditional tonkotsu ramen and for added "protein option" chose pork. There are 6 possibles. He said the pork broth was good and there were lots of pork pieces in every bite. I got their shoyu ramen which is a soy sauce chicken broth. I added shrimp. I gave my slightly cooked egg halves to him. There were a ton of scallions along with a couple pieces of bamboo, lots of bean sprouts, one piece of seaweed, and that pretty fish cake. There were 6 small shrimp. And noodles of course! I liked my ramen. I'd get their shoyu (same) broth again, but choose a different protein. They also have a full range of teas with or without boba as well as beer, sakes, and sodas. We enjoyed watching the tea mixing machine and cup sealer while we waited for our food. They are a welcome addition to the neighborhood. I'd definitely come back here.

New neighborhood place to try some Ramen. Friendly greetins from staff and we were seated in one of the new comfortable booths and given menus. Menu categories are: Appetizers Rice dishes Stir-fry Noodle Ramen Noodle Dessert Milk Teas Green tea Slushies Hot and Cold Sake Beer Soft drinks Everything was reasonably priced and a Grand Opening 10% discount on all menu items made it sweeter! I went with the Tonkotsu Ramen with Pork added as my protein... a Winner! Delicious and a generous serving of flavor! Going back soon!

I love this restaurant!! I came here recently with my partner and we were greeted by a super nice girl (blue hair sorry i forgot her name), she answered all of our questions and gave us her recommendations. I had a ramen and my partner had one of the stir fry noodles. The food was delicious and the portions were definitely on the bigger side, we had to get containers to go! Of course we also got the boba, my favorite was the brown sugar

Excellent food and great service! The tonkatsu ramen broth was light and flavorful, the noodles were perfectly chewy.

I was not disappointed with the flavor and strange combination of fried gyoza. I would absolutely go back to try the tonkatsu version when im back in town and give the Ribeye topping a try instead of yoga. They also did proper tea by the pot. I was so excited to finally make a visit! Like others have said, Theres a garage or you can park on the street. It was $3.75ish/hr on the street. I'm not sure how much the garage was. We came right at opening and there was already people there! We took a Quick Look at the menu outside. It's at the bottom floor of the garage and the plaza looks like it's in a subway station. It reminded me of Japan! They chose a great spot. It was well thought out. The art, walls, plates were so aesthetic. Services was great as well! I had to start with the classic Japanese food. Although I did want to try everything. Started off with the JFC. It was perfect! Perfectly fried and had just enough sauce. The marinade was perfect. The crisp-perfect. I love that they used chicken thigh. It was a perfect start. It was nice because they waited for us to finish our appetizer before bringing out our entrees and that's never done at a lot of restaurants anymore. I'll start off with the disappointment. I ordered the tonkatsu for myself. I was shocked at how burnt it was. And how disappointed I was that they allowed it to be served to me. It was very dry on the inside. And the whole dish wasnt as piping hot as the karaage was. Kinda like it was sitting on the pass waiting for the ramen to be done maybe? I wouldn't have mind if it was lukewarm if it wasn't burnt. That really bothered me. Not something I expected so early on in the day. But I ate it. It was hard to chew because it was dry. This was my only complaint. I wouldn't suggest ordering this dish. I liked the details. How the cabbage and carrots were cut. I liked the Japanese rice too. I could tell it was Japanese rice. It reminded me of going to mt Fuji when we went to a restaurant there that had the mt Fuji rice. It was perfectly cooked. Not soggy or hard. My partner had the house ramen-ichimora. It. Was. The. Best. Ramen. I've. Had. In awhile. lol. It used to be Momosan but went down hill about 2 years ago. They ended up shutting down this year. Anyway, back to the ramen. It wasn't as thick as Momosan (I like thick broth). But I liked this one too! They are both different broths. The meats were very very tender. Noodles weren't Al dente. But overall loved it. You won't find another broth like that in florida. Another thing I'd like to mention was the plates with good portions. Which I haven't seen done in a loooong time. We were stuffed! Next time I'd like to try their sushi and hopefully bentos for lunch because I miss going to Japanese restaurants that have the bento boxes.

I was warmly greeted and given menus and water right away. I sat at the sushi bar area as I was by myself. I reviewed the menu which had quite a few yummy sounding dishes. I was craving sushi so I ordered 2 rolls and a jasmine tea with Boba. The food came out relatively quickly. The Tuna tasted very fresh as did the rice. Overall for 2 rolls and a drink my bill came to just over $20.00, which is pretty good. I could smell someone ramen which smelled amazing. I look forward to going back to have dinner there.

I had some expectations considering that most elites were raving about how good this place was. My first impression of this place was that wow this place must have been in the same spot for years with a lot of regulars. Interior seating seemed limited, but while we were there, there were consistent togo orders so the limited seating did not keep people away. Our server was welcoming, patient, and friendly. She was there a second before we needed her, she cleared our table before the next dishes arrived, and we didn't feel rushed but well cared for. We ordered the hamachi jalapeño, crab Rangoons, donkatsu ramen with pork belly, tuna, chutoro, and Otoro nigiri's. We also got matcha's for Togo. Two things that stood out to me, one, the prices were super cheap, and two the nigiri's tasted surprisingly good for their prices. Overall I was thinking that this must be a hidden gem in Pompano Beach area that not too many people know about despite the restaurant having been there for years. I wasn't too hungry today but my fiancee and I were already talking about coming back here to try some of their rolls next time. Yes I recommend this place to others!
