Decent tasting food, not my first choice in all of the sushi song locations but it does the job. Service can be better but it is what it is. Ambiance or lack there of.....

Five stars for this sushi spot! We were visiting from Tampa and just left The Eagle. HahNah called out a big welcome as soon as we came in and made us feel like family the entire time. The sushi was amazing and we had a blast with all the employees. I'd recommend this to anyone that wants great food and wonderful people! We got the spider roll and hibachi jalapeño! Yum!!

I walked in at 8 PM and thought they were closed -- I was the only one there. That should've been my first red flag, but the reviews gave me hope. They seated me right next to a sign of someone vomiting into a toilet, warning of a $20 fee to use the restroom. Not exactly the most appetizing welcome. The fish? Rubbery and far from fresh. Do yourself a favor -- skip this place and find somewhere better.

Sushi Song in Wilton Manors has become my go-to spot when I'm in the mood for sushi. The sushi here is really fresh, you can tell right away. I had the tuna roll, which was simple but super flavorful and well-prepared. The rice was the right texture, and the tuna tasted clean and high quality. I also got the edamame as a starter, warm, lightly salted, and just how I like it. They also have a specialty sushi menu with more creative rolls if you're looking for something different, plus Japanese sodas and some local craft beers, which is a nice touch. The place is a bit on the pricier side, but nothing unreasonable, it feels fair for the quality. Chill vibe, good service, and consistently solid sushi. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Placed my pickup order by phone. Girl who took my order was so nice!!! I was a little delayed picking up my food, but Food was still amazing! I ordered shrimp tempura roll, KC tuna roll...that's tuna wrapped in really thin cucumber & sauce with this was delicious! I also ordered a house salad with ginger dressing (they said they have a Wasabi vinaigrette that I will have to try next time! Sorry the only thing I took photo of was salad, but tSalad was so gorgeous!

This review is for Take out at 12:30am LOL Honestly I love that they were open late as I was craving sushi however I will be dining in rather than doing take out for sushi from now on. The Shrimp tempura was cold and not crispy, however that is most likely because of the 40min transit. The flavor was good and everything was well made, minus the temperature. Dine in if you get the chance!

If you're in the Wilton Manor area enjoying the night out Sushi Song is wonderfully quaint stop. They are open dinner time until very late night. They have a great sushi selection on their menu and don't forget to look at the black wall board with the Sushi Chef specials that they have. This place does not have a full kitchen so you're going to get a limited menu but do not let that shy you away. They make fantastic sushi and what I love the most is that rice is not wet, gooey or mushy they know to make the perfect sushi sticky rice. The food is always consistent and the service everyone is very nice and friendly. I ordered a simple dish this time around Shrimp Tempura Role, and gyoza which I loved. The gyoza sauce is delicious! Most definitely recommend for sure stop on by and tell me what you think.

While Sushi Song Gaysha is on THE prime street corner on The Drive, it is small can easily be missed, sandwiched between a realtor and clothing store. Don't miss it! The sushi coming out of this little restaurant is really good. We usually came here for a late night ramen noodle soup, because where else can we get ramen on the Drive after 10PM? They only served one type, and it was big, delicious, and necessary, especially after a bar crawl. Unfortunately, it looks like Gaysha recently took it off their chalkboard menu. They gave up their late night ramen monopoly and we are literally crying. Their sushi rolls are great and they have a large variety of house and signature rolls. My favorite is the A1A. Filled with Maine lobster, avocado, cilantro and spicy mayo, topped with seared salmon and miso sauce. Maine lobster comes with a price, but it is decadent! Our Sashimi Sampler came out with large fresh slices of chef's choice quality sashimi. The chef also surprised me when I asked if they had Hamachi Kama (yellowtail jaw/collar), which is not on the menu or chalkboard. Out came a beautiful kama. Fresh, tasty and grilled to perfection. Staff is friendly and personable. We had a great time and tables are socially distanced for COVID. It would be awesome if they made use of their front courtyard to put a table or two outside to watch the world go by. It could also help "advertise" that there is a sushi restaurant right in the middle of everything.

The crispy shrimp were golden, crunchy, and paired perfectly with the dipping sauce. The crispy bites drizzled with sweet and spicy-style sauces were another favorite, lots of texture and flavor in every bite. We also ordered the edamame, which was a simple but delicious addition to the table. Service was super attentive and friendly. Everything was flavorful, nicely presented, and perfect for sharing. I especially love restaurants where you can come in for a casual dinner, grab some drinks, or turn it into a late-night hangout, and Phat Boy definitely fits that vibe. You can tell he takes his craft seriously. The setting is a very cool bohemian enclave, apparently shared with a sister café, pizza spot, and Mexican joint -- all of which looked fantastic and are now on my list to try. Alchemist is the perfect romantic, intimate place to bring your significant other -- or someone you want to become your significant other. Our waiter checked in on how we were liking our meal and even turned a hot latte into iced without any problem. The outdoor patio is beautiful as it overlooks the beach right across the street. We went for breakfast which has a small but amazing menu. As a vegan myself I had to order off the "sides" portion of the menu and I ordered an English muffin and a sliced avocado - very affordable ($5 total). I also ordered the fruit platter ($10) which came with an array of yummy fruits including pear, melons, pineapple, oranges, grapes and strawberries. There was more than enough for our table of three! My daughter had the pancakes which came with a warmed jam, syrup, and whipped cream. She said they were very fluffy. My husband had the chaffles which are croissants pressed in a waffle maker. They came with the same sides as the pancakes. And again he said they were so light and fluffy. We rounded off our meal with iced lattes - mine made with oat milk - and they were outstanding. I usually do not like iced drinks but the weather called for it and I was not disappointed! Overall Takato's breakfast is A+ and the view takes it over the edge of greatness! I hope you get a chance to enjoy it as much as we did! We returned to Takato for dinner and what an amazing meal we had. My one warning is to ask about portion size as many dishes are worthy of sharing size. We ordered an array of food. My son loved the kimchi short rib tacos (2 to an order). My daughter had the duck bao and California roll - both received two thumbs up! My husband had the wagyu sliders which he thought were an appetizer but ended up being a good sized meal served with french fries. He said the burger roll was a bit dry and could have used a sauce. The fries received rave reviews. We also had the mushroom gyoza (5 to an order) and these were delicious. I had the Takato salad without cheese and it did not disappoint. It came in a big bowl with crispy tofu. And I also enjoyed the vegetable sushi which provided a light fragrant taste with a crunchy texture. Takato hits the mark on all fronts and will definitely be a place to which we return whenever we come to Ft. Lauderdale!

This is absolutely going to be a part of our rotation for top asian-fusion eats in Fort Lauderdale. Our group of 4 was quite impressed - from the warm service (shout out to Chino), beautifully plated dishes, to the flavors that hit every note from comfort to creativity. In fact, our female friend actually said while most asian restaurants we've introduced them to were very good, this place is by far the BEST of all! We started with 2 orders of grilled chicken skewers - perfectly charred, tender, and lightly sweet from the marinade, that came with a bright cucumber-tomato salad and the creamy peanut sauce that tied everything together. The Bangkok Wings topped with crunchy onions was a standout--so juicy inside. The Tom Kha soup with chicken was comfort in a bowl. Velvety coconut broth, mildly spicy with fresh herbs and mushrooms that soaked up all that flavor. For mains, the Mixed Seafood Pad Thai was just out-of-this world! That was super delish - it had the classic balance of sweet, tangy, and savory. Loved the thin, glossy and well-coated rice noodles. The Dynamite mussels was innovative. Creamy, lightly torched, topped with crispy tempura flakes, and beautifully presented. Loved the different textures in each bite. We also ordered a Four Seasons Specialty Roll which came with shrimp tempura, salmon, tuna and some type of white fish with asparagus and eel sauce. Yummo! The menu is huge and we will definitely be back to try more items. Check them out - absolutely worth a visit.
