About three weeks ago I had, what should have been a minimally invasive procedure, done at this location. Since then I've experienced ongoing complications that have not been properly addressed, nor fall under categorically minimal side effects that may result from the procedure, if it is done correctly. Despite reaching out multiple times, I have not been given a clear treatment plan or consistent follow-up care but instead I've received delayed responses or made to feel that it's a personal issue rather than a result of improper care. My condition has only worsened over time, and I've been left to manage this largely on my own. From the beginning, there were inconsistencies in communication. I was sold a package but later told I had misunderstood what was included in the package. I was also told that I would be sent home with aftercare products, which I understood to be part of the service, but were later presented as additional add-on products to purchase for necessary aftercare. I was given the run around from the time of purchase, until now that I have made several attempts to resolve this not only amicably but primarily to get my skin heath back. I was made to feel that this was an isolate issue because of my own skin but have since consulted with other RNs and licensed aestheticians to better understand what actually happened. Based on what I shared with them & their assessment of the aftermath, they expressed concern about how the procedure was performed, including the intensity, level of aggressiveness and the lack of proper skin assessment or testing beforehand by the aesthetician as there are different classes that the procedure fall under, some of which do not comply with certain skin types. I have tried to be patient, reasonable & more than fair in giving the business an opportunity to address this, but the responses thus far have been dismissive, unprofessional and lackluster given the severity of the situation & how it has damaged my skin & impacted my overall conscious throughout my day to day activities. This experience has had a significant impact on me, physically, emotionally, and professionally, and not something I take lightly. I had previously referred several friends here, which makes having to write this, even more disappointing. At this point, I do not feel comfortable continuing treatment with this provider as they have shown their lack of care & professionalism from start to finish. I am currently exploring further options to address the situation & hope that the business takes it seriously in working towards an actual resolution, prior to me taking further action to do so.

I had a really horrible experience here and would never go back…read more Editing this review to add screenshots of Jesse's messages and consent form "after treatment", upon reading their misrepresentations and personal attacks on my review. I went in for a laser treatment, got a chemical peel and had burning/stabbing pain on my face right after the peel. My cheeks became red and discolored for over a week, and I was scared because it was my face. I documented everything, including the fact that the consent form was signed after the treatment, not before. The provider did refund me and sent aquaphor after she was scared of a lawsuit. She refused to reimburse a derm appointment. My skin did improve but there is still pain and pigmentation. The way the business handled my concern afterward was awful. Instead of simply focusing on aftercare and making sure my skin was okay, the Director of Operations Jesse started questioning my "claims," my "intentions," and even called me a "Groupon shopper." That was rude, discriminatory, insulting, and completely unnecessary. I came in as a paying customer. Whether I used Groupon or not has nothing to do with how I should be treated when I report pain and a reaction on my face. If not for groupon, this place wouldn't be able to pay the rent which is why they advertise on Groupon in the first place. They withheld meds that they claim to have ordered in lieu of more photos everyday so they can "verify" their claims. Due to a confusion with the order number, they figured I bought another groupon from another spa way before going to Skintegrity. None of my other groupons had anything to do with the treatment I went in for nor it should matter to the business. This is invasion of privacy without cause. I was also told I was "obviously trying to build a case," which is ridiculous. I was trying to make sure my skin healed and that I had proper documentation because the reaction happened immediately after their treatment. A customer reporting burning, tenderness, and discoloration after a facial treatment should be treated with care, not attitude. The communication afterward made me feel dismissed, judged, and attacked. I would not trust this place with my skin again.

Right between my shoulder blades and about 2" up has been killing me since last weekend. Whit (my sister) visited her friend all day and night yesterday for her friend's birthday so I had the whole day and house to myself. What's the best thing to do when you're by yourself? No, not "that". I booked myself a spa appointment. The massage was lacking in every aspect and my neck, back and shoulders still hurt. God I LOVE blowing $100 on nothing, don't you? So Whit got back today and was unable to sleep at her friend's house. She's a light sleeper and apparently had to sleep on her friend's couch. Her friend's dog is about the sweetest German shepherd you'll ever meet and didn't want my poor sister to be alone in the room so he plopped down on the floor below the couch and slept there. He's a sleep talker which apparently kept her up most of the night. Long story epic, we both felt like we needed a massage today and we got one... sort of. We'd never been to this place before. No, scratch that - Whit had been here before when it was under its former management. She got a massage from a 3" stiletto wielding tranny whose long finger nails kept stabbing her in the back. This should be the part of the story where I say "... and that's why we laughed and drove somewhere else and had a fabulous experience and lived happily ever after." I scoff in logic's general direction; scoff, scoff, scoff! The appointment was for 4 o'clock. The receptionist didn't speak English very well so when the reservation was made for 2 people for 1 hour each at 4 o'clock, we were surprised to arrive and be escorted to a joint room for the lovers' package. Somehow this did not put my sister or me in the mood. But no problem, we've known each other our entire lives, it's cool we can deal with this. We got undressed and hopped up on to our individual respective massage tables and waited for our massage therapists to come in. When they did, Whit explained to each of them that she needed a soft touch as she has extremely sensitive muscles and skin and I needed someone to beat the crap out of me. They started. Here's the summary: Whit's gal was a spider monkey ninja-erapist. She was all over the place, and at one point I swore I looked over and she was sporting "the crane". Whit said she had "thumbs of fury" and she could never tell when or where super ninja spider monkey massage lady would strike next. My massage therapist you ask? Ah yes, her. When she was told I like it hard... no, not "that", she assumed the people's elbow was in order. I finally smelled what the Rock was cookin'. Unfortunately the pressure was in all the wrong places and my neck, back and shoulders still hurt. My ass on the other hand has no stress whatsoever. Wanna know why? Tell you why. She must have thought my Kardashean sized keister was so big because that's where I keep my stress (even though I assured her it was my neck and shoulders) because a good 20-30 minutes of my massage was spent rubbing my bum. I kept wanting to whisper to Whitney - "umm where's YOUR towel?" And of course every time I thought this, I started giggling which made my massage therapist press down harder in the wrong spots. In every massage I've ever had, the therapist will move the privacy towel around as to make sure the client isn't exposed for some, if any of the time spent there. The privacy towel was a mere laughable suggestion. That, or she thought the backs of my knees and calves were shy. I thought to myself "so this must be what Neverland Ranch felt like"... too soon? After an hour long assperience, Whit and I couldn't get to the car fast enough to share our thoughts and hysterical fits of laughter. I'll never go back but I'm kind of glad I went. My neck, back and shoulders are still killing me but at least I still have my prid- umm my dignit- umm, my health. Did I mention I've got my health?

Additionally, and I am not making this up- she took a phone call while giving me my massage. This is no joke! She didn't even leave the room! She continued to rub me while taking an appointment! Sorry, but to me this is just plain rude! I know the place is extremely cheap ($40 for half hour) but really? I keep going back because the quality of the massage is incredible. I never leave feeling stressed. Just a bit annoyed. Oh and another perk is that they don't have the tranny there anymore. I mean no offense but I only like to be massaged by women......er.....real women. I felt a bit violated when it was a man with a wig!

During labor, we did what we practiced and the mother later reported that this was the most helpful tool for managing the intensity. When a complication arose in labor, there was not a lot of time and several fast decisions had to be made. Having Nancy there as a trusted resource made all the difference. All it took were a few adamant nods of approval from Nancy to help me feel like the right decisions were being made. This helped avoid critical time delays since I normally would have wanted to spend more time to understand what was going on in more depth before making any decisions.
