I have been going to Bel Viso Day Spa for over 20 years and they have never disappointed me in their service. Today though, was a treatment that went above and beyond anything I had experienced before. I have been getting massages with Shanna for over a year now and I finally feel like I have found the person who knows my aches and pain. I can always trust when I go to her, she will get that kink out of the shoulder, hips wherever. For the past two months I have been dealing with horrible pain in my top part of my foot, went to urgent care, my foot doctor, got xrays and all they could tell me was it was probably arthritis flareup. I went today and ended up upgrading to a 90min deep tissue massage and Shanna went to town. It was the most painful yet wonderful massage I have had yet. As they say, no pain no gain. What I gained back was the fluid movement in my ankle, the pain 95% reduced and my whole body feeling like it could move again. THANK YOU so much Shanna for your time and your patience with me. This day spa has the best facial gal, Ruby. She was amazing. She did a facial with lots of lotions and potions, and then massaged my sore neck and shoulders. I feel there may have been a lack of experience because my questions were not given deep consideration, but quick answers. I was left under the facial steamer for 25 minutes. Not the most cost-effective way to perform a facial. If I go back, I will request someone a little older or more experienced. read more

Bel Viso Day Spa is gorgeous. I've been enjoying Tina's spa services for the past decade. You must check them out. They've always been a very clean facility and now they are taking every precaution for Covid safety including temperature checks, masks, hand washing, a limited number of guests at a time and frequent sanitizing of equipment. You can rest assured you're in great hands. I saw Josephine for microblading this week. I've always known she is an exceptional artist but wow, her work is absolutely exquisite! I was a little nervous as I had never had microblading done before. Josephine took the time to answer all my questions before she began. She made sure to check in with me multiple times throughout the process to ensure I was getting the exact look I was hoping for. I am more than happy with my new brows. She has an eye for perfection. I simply can't say enough about how amazingly talented Josephine is! I had the biggest smile my entire drive home and my husband loves my new brows. I've gone to Bel Viso for many years and typically enjoyed them, so it pains me to have to write a review like this--but the manicure I got at this spa two weeks ago was certainly not worth the money paid for it. I got married on 1/15 and went in with two of my bridesmaids to get gel manicures a few days before the ceremony. We had booked our appointments all at 12pm, assuming that since all three were booked at once, there'd be more than one manicurist there working on us. Instead, there was only one manicurist, meaning that we went one after another. That meant we were there for 2.5 hours total. This might have been less of a problem if our manicures had turned out well. Luckily, mine turned out the least problematic, but it was still a far cry from the other gel manicures I've had in the past (even ones I've paid less for). My two bridesmaids got the same polish which upon completion was bubbly and uneven. While applying the color the manicurist even commented that the consistency of the polish was off, but didn't stop using it or recommend going with another color. Mine was rippled in places too, but not as noticeably. It wasn't until we got outside in brighter light that we noticed the issues, but since it was nearly 3pm, we didn't feel like going in and having them completely re-done. Had we known that we wouldn't have gotten our nails done concurrently, we wouldn't have booked them all at the same time, so that if there was a problem it could be fixed. All three of our manicures started coming off in less than a week. No gel manicure I've had lasted as short as this--had I known it'd start chipping and peeling in 5 days, I'd have just paid less for normal polish. Most gels I've had have lasted for at least two weeks before the first sign of trouble. These did not. Unfortunately when my mother (who booked / paid for the appointments as a gift to us) tried to call the salon several times to speak to them about the sub-par service, they wouldn't return her calls. I don't like leaving negative Yelp reviews in general, but this was very frustrating. Even if they did nothing to help us after, at least getting a call back and somebody listening to our bad experience would have been helpful. Massages and other services, sure. But I'd definitely go somewhere else for nails, especially gels, if you're looking to actually get your money's worth. read more

I use to always get my eyebrows done there. Always very friendly and quick. Just be careful of their spray tans. I had my first one ever there, and the room wasn't properly ventilated and that can be very dangerous. (Seriously, you can faint). I can not say enough wonderful things about Evelyn Spieker, the Nurse Practitioner at Bel Viso Day Spa. I have been going to Bel Viso for years and started seeing Evelyn about 6 years ago when she joined the team. I was in my late 40's and terrified to try Botox or any fillers, but I had a big event to attend and decided to take the plunge. My biggest fear was having it look like " I had something done". Evelyn was the perfect match for me. Evelyn listened to my needs and instead of telling me what I "needed", she asked what bothered me about how aging was affecting my appearance. I never felt rushed and she gave me several options about how to approach my treatment. She also took into account my budget and my concern about having results that would last and look natural. I have been seeing Evelyn ever since. I recently went to a college reunion and had many comments about how young I looked and how lucky I was to have great genes. I've been going to see Krysta for waxing for a while and she's fantastic - very thorough while working quickly at the same time. Also very keen on customer satisfaction. Yesterday I had a facial scheduled and I felt like I was in heaven! (Krysta again) I was so comfortable I even dozed off for a minute. Another one of my favorite parts of Bel Viso is that it's small. I've been getting facials at Bel Viso for quite some time, but had my first Dermapen facial treatment a few weeks ago and absolutely loved the results! I was a little nervous at first when I heard that it involved needles, but it felt very similar to a Microderm facial and didn't hurt at all. Afterwards, my face was a little rashy in spots, but it subsided within a couple of hours. The real results unveiled themselves about a week later when I started receiving compliments on my skin. I really noticed a difference in overall tone, and definitely had fewer fine lines (especially on my forehead and around my eyes). The pores on my nose were much smaller as well. In fact Hyun, their front desk person goes above and beyond any chance she gets - gave me her personal cell so I could touch base, got me set up for skinmedics reward points after a few times when I was there saying I would do it later (she realized I had too much on my plate and kept forgetting, so was leaving money on the table towards future product.) I used to love this place but I don't think I would go back after my last visit. I got a gift card and went in for a facial and a massage. I expected to walk out feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. But I didn't even feel like I had a massage because it was really more of a rub down. The woman doing the facial left my skin so oily at the end that my skin was super shiny. I was supposed to leave it on overnight but I couldn't. All I wanted to do was take a shower when I got home because my skin was prickly and itchy. What a disappointment! read more

Nice place and setup ,but very poor customer service.My appointment was at 4 15 pm on a saturday.I was about 5 mins late.From the moment I walked in,I felt least relaxing or welcome and they were sort of hurrying up everything.The lady at the desk told me that shes my masseuse and ushered me into a room.She asked if there is anything special am looking for or any health conditions that they should be aware of and asked me to change and hurried out.Then she started the massage around 4 30 pm.I had opted for the regular swedish massage.The room was nice and bed was warm and music was relaxing.Usually my masseues' always asks my name and my needs and kinda puts me in ease before they start the massage..afterall you need to be lil friendly with a person before you feel free to lie nude before her for a massage.But this lady never talked to me..heck I didnt see even her face properly. It was a cold rainy day ,so I was hoping for some warm oil as part of my massage.But she took equal parts oil and lotion and it was COLD! I told her I would prefer something warm and she said something,but no she did nothing to accommodate my ask.The massage in itself was very average and again I couldnt relax since I felt like she was hurrying up and the cold lotion.I have had way better massages in $25/hr foot spas.Finally she stopped massage in 45 mins,while the original time is 60 mins!!. At the counter I asked if it was 45 mins or 60 mins and the lady told me that I was late (5 mins) and the masseuse lady has to be off by 5 30 and then need 15 mins (!!) to clean up after service ,thats why she stopped my massage at 5 15 after 45 mins..WTH! if they were so tight about timings they shouldnt have booked me up for that time and even then this is such disgusting customer service.Neverthless I paid regular 15 %tip. I live so close to this place and they lost me forever as a customer and I would be sure to let my friends know this too.Not recommended,far far better places in bellevue and even the chinese foot spas in redmond offer better massage and customer service! read more
