The menus were sticky. I wanted to go wash my hands, & they told me the restrooms were outside. That wouldn't have been an issue, but it was raining heavily. We recently discovered this gem on Clark Rd, a block south of Ace Hardware. The restaurant is spacious and quiet, and the service is quick. We ate there in late Dec 2024 and again in early Jan 2025. The temperature outside was cold, but it was pleasant inside. We ate sushi (the Crunchy Roll and the Rainbow Roll) for dinner. Both were absolutely fresh and delicious. We especially liked the sauces they used. Plus, the house wine was good, and the waitress filled the large wine glasses to the brim! This will be our "go to" place now in Paradise. 2 stars for the sushi. 0 stars for the Chinese food. 0 stars for the service. If you end up visiting this restaurant, I'm going to start out by only recommending the sushi, and the sushi only. The sushi was actually pretty decent. HOWEVER, Expect to seat yourself at a table that you have to clean yourself, and then get terrible service from a man that doesn't talk and looks like he just rolled out of bed and hasn't showered in a week. I also want to point out I never once saw him wash his hands before going behind the counter and help put our food together and bring it out. Very off-putting to say the least. I highly recommend *avoiding* the Chinese food! - Egg drop soup was less than lukewarm and had no flavor. - Chow mein, rice, and egg roll had absolutely no flavor at all either and they were slimy and greasy from the excessive oil. - Orange chicken was absolutely horrendous!! Not only was it dry and chewy but the sauce was thin and had no orange sauce taste whatsoever? The dollar store could make a better sauce! Needless to say it was thrown out. - Generals chicken was similar being dry and chewy. Once again there was no flavor, other than it just being spicy from the chilis. I don't understand... Never once did we get checked on while we were here. I asked for boxes and when we packed up and obviously ready to go we waited forever to get our check- but one never came. The lady making the sushi noticed and said something to him (I assume, cause she saw us waiting and said something to him and they kept looking at us) - he just seemed to stand there and argue with her? Idk. We eventually just got up and stood at the front and were just looked at and ignored by him while he did absolutely nothing. We will not be returning to this establishment because of him. It's a shame as they are a new business in Paradise - but if you can't have BASIC customer service skills - it will fail. read more

I live 3 hours away from this place and last time I was there was in February. This place is severely underrated and anyone saying otherwise doesn't have a clue what they're talking about. My friend told me they had milkshakes which I wouldn't expect, but once I tried them I have not been able to have a milkshake as good as that one. The service was amazing the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The place also felt very at home. Would 100% recommend to anyone driving through or even visiting. read more

All three were phenomenal, they made it look very good they decorated it with the sauce on the plate. Loved the sushi it tasted and looked great, they've got a variety of options to choose from and all three we tried were very good. Orange Chicken Orange Chicken was is pretty good but it didn't have enough of the sauce. If it had more sauce it would be very good. Chicken wasn't the best but we still enjoyed it. Boba The boba tea was pretty good, I felt like the cups were pretty small and they give a lot of Tapioca (the balls at the bottom) so you end up with a ton of balls left when your done drinking the tea. Mango was very good, Strawberry was extremely sweet. Overall pretty good to just grab a boba tea without driving to Chico, but not the best. Ambiance The Ambiance was pretty good, nothing extraordinary but they decorated a bit with various things you would expect in an Asian restaurant. Almost all of the decorations were up front at the counter so you really don't get to appreciate it, there wasn't any music or anything welcoming, it was mostly silent and felt a bit dead. Service Service was good, they got confused a couple of times when we asked for the rice wrap on one of the rolls but no mistakes were made. They don't seem clean the tables after people leave, we came in and two of the tables were dirty and no one had any orders to take or make as there was only one family there and they already had their food. I love that this restaurant had many vegetarian options, which are hard to find in this area. The food was very good and was ready quickly. The cook came out and said bye to us as we were leaving, which I thought was really nice. As for previous negative reviews of this place, remember some people are just miserable and wouldn't be happy with the food or the service no matter what. read more
