Five stars all around for me I love the Venetian hotel and I definitely love their bars, but this bar is very nice elegant and very modern. It gives you really good vibes when you're in here and it's so beautiful and all the aesthetics looks really good inside a very good lounge and chill spot to wait on your friends and to grab a drink. The Bartender Christopher was amazing. And his assistant Bartender Luis was very good as well. They had really good personalities and know about different types of additive free tequila and how to make good cocktails if needed. It's pretty big in space inside and they have nice booth and a nice long bar to sit at. I got a glass of Prosecco and it was very good in a nice time just to chill and wait. It's also good vibes because I met some really nice people there as well. Absolutely loved my experience at Salsa 118 Cocktail Bar! It's the perfect spot if you're looking for a great drink and a good vibe. James, our bartender, was amazing, super knowledgeable and gave fantastic recommendations based on exactly what I was in the mood for. I told him I wanted something yummy but not too sweet, and he suggested the Limonata... and WOW, it was perfect. Refreshing, light, and just the right balance without being overly sugary. 02142026 This was a great find (thanks, Gemini!). After the Backstreet Boys concert, we had to ask for directions again to get here. A security guard told us it looked like the bar from the movie The Shining--but since none of us had seen it, we were all in "huh?" mode. The vibe of the place was quite nice and cozy. It's very inviting, and if we weren't all flying out early the next day, I think we would have stayed for a few more cocktails instead of just our "token" round. We arrived early enough to secure a cozy booth. Our server, Ikia, was friendly and attentive. They were running low on physical menus, so we had to share, but the selection was extensive. Our order included: Ruby (Campari, Lime, Stiegl Radler Grapefruit) Bull Frog Mulo Sala Spritz I had the Ruby, and it was incredibly refreshing--exactly what I needed to wash away the "meh" experience of that overhyped concert. We all did a taste test of everyone's drinks, and in a funny twist, we all agreed that our own individual choice was the best one! lol. Well worth checking out for great drinks and good conversation. Very classy! My friends and I had champagne vouchers from our stay in the Venetian so we stopped by Sala 118. This was around 1:30 pm on a Sunday. At this time, there were only a few other guests there and one bartender. We were quickly served our champagne in a very classy flute. I have no idea what bottle was used by default for the vouchers but it was very nice! It was dry and perfectly crisp despite probably being on the cheaper end of bottles. The bar is stunning. It is a modern take on 1920s decor and style. Sitting at the bar feels luxurious. If you want a more casual vibe, you can sit in the lounge area that is equally as pretty. The music is very lowkey and calming. It doesn't feel like you are sitting in the hotel lobby at all. I would definitely stop by again! read more

Sala 118 has a captivating appearance for a lobby bar, but I've had better service and drinks at the smaller hotel lobby bars than here. My friend and I came in at a very slow moment. There were only two other tables occupied with two people at one and three at the other. We found a seat and initially things seemed great. The waitress came by, took our drink order, and a couple minutes later our drinks came out. Very quick. We sit, sip, and chat and I can't get comfortable. The seat is too deep so my legs hurt, I can't get enough back support, and no matter which way I position I can't find a good position. I feel a bit of annoyance over the drink because it's mostly ice and vanishes fast. We continue chatting and I'm realizing it has been a long time since seeing our waitress. I became more keenly aware when the three top started looking around for her. After 20 minutes more I'm done being patient so I go to the bar and ask to close. The bartender informs me he'll send over the waitress. It takes another 15 minutes before she shows up. I don't know why the bartenders couldn't have just closed the tab. So, while cute, I won't return. read more

Great place to grab a few drinks. Since it's a celebration I got Limonata and Margarita. Both drinks was delicious and strong. Our alchemist gave us a sample of their tequila Negroni which was tasty and smooth. Great service and live musician Friday and Saturday night. Nice and chill ambiance and vibe. This is the most gorgeous lobby bar I've ever seen. It's tucked in a little bit, so I'd never truly noticed it before. When I checked in, they gave me a voucher for 2 free glasses of champagne at Sala since I was celebrating my birthday at the Venetian. The champagne was so good! The staff is dressed so elegantly, and the entire place feels very upscale without being stuffy. I will absolutely come back on my next visit to try more of their drinks and spend more time here. This is the lobby bar in The Venetian, Las Vegas. It is the only non-smoking bar at this resort. I stopped by one evening while my adult daughter was at The Backstreet Boys concert to enjoy a glass of prosecco and catch up on my emails/texts. This is a very large bar, empty and quiet at 7pm. It is indeed lovely. My server, Sharra was excellent. Friendly, attentive and turns out her mom and I am the same age. The last time I was at the Venetian this area was a luggage drop off center. This lounge & bar is a great addition and utilizes the space. It is first come, first serve. We chose where we sat and were met by the waitress. She was friendly and attentive. One of the drinks we ordered was the Paradise which had gin, pineapple amaro, coconut, sherry and lime bitters. It was delicious and strong. The presentation was beautiful. The garnish was an orchid and mint leave. Another drink was the Espana which had two types of tequila, brandy and vermouth. This is a very happening cocktail lounge in the Venetian Hotel and I needed some hot tea because it is so smoky here!! I feel like it's the 80's with people smoking cigarettes. We hosted our meet and greet here for our guests during our wedding weekend. For about 20ish people, we took over the back end of the bar. No reservations were needed. TIme to catch up on my Vegas trip reviews starting with this lobby bar in the Venetian on the strip! I am surprised that this spot doesn't have as many reviews because we got dropped off at the main entrance and this was the first bar we saw and went straight for it for a drink to start off the night. We grabbed two seats at the end of the bar and were greeted by one of the bartenders named Toby and he convinced us that there espresso martini was the best in town so of course we had to try that. I will say it was a pretty dang good espresso martini and for two girls who had driven traffic and were tired it was needed. My friend and I took a trip to Vegas for her birthday and while we were looking at the map someone approached us and suggested we try Sala 118 and I am so glad he suggested it! It's absolutely beautiful inside, plenty of places to sit and incredibly comfortable chairs at the bar. We tried their most popular drink, the Limonata and it was one of the best drinks I've ever had. Very well balanced and refreshing. It comes in a large wine glass and it was so good we went back again on the second night we were there. The bartenders are friendly but not pushy and everything is very classy. This lounge only serves drinks and you are not allowed to bring food inside so be prepared to just stop in for a drink (they also have mocktails and non alcoholic beverages). read more

Couldn't check into hotel as waiting on friend arriving later who had the hotel reservation. Manager suggested that i go to Sala 118 and I ordered two glasses of wine. Wanted to get check and server was no where to be found so i left my name and never heard back. Wanting to do the right thing i went back next day to make sure bill was settled. Manager knew nothing about there being an open bill and said she would contact to provide update. She called next day and said the bill was open so went to settle up. There was no bill and asked what I had and at that moment they wrote up a new bill. If i didn't come forward they would never of known that the bill wasn't paid - the right thing would have been to comp the drinks or split it. They told me i didn't need to leave a tip as they didnt know who the server was. Just a bad taste and should have done the right thing like i did. I guess karma will be paid forward read more

This was a great place to start our day, lol! Jim G. and I figured that, if we were going to spend $22 on a cocktail, we should have it before we've had a handful or so while gambling; this way we could savor them! As many have mentioned, the place is stunning, with fabulous chairs, couches, settees, over-the-top chandeliers, etc. It screams luxe (again, to match the price tag of the drinks). Jim G. ordered from the Negroni menu and got the Paradise, which has Tropical Old Gin, Heirloom Pineapple Amaro, Luxardo Bitter Bianco, Coconut, Lustau Manzanilla Sherry, and Lime Bitters. It was super refreshing, well-balanced, but it packed a punch. Definitely my tye of drink! I ordered from the Moderno section and got the Flamingo, which has Diplomatico Plana Rum, Avua Amburana Cachaca, Campari, Butter Pecan Orgeat, lime, and pineapple juice. The juice and orgeat made mine a bit more sweet than the Paradise, but it was not at all a foo-foo drink! It did, however, come with an adorable tiny flamingo stirrer! Friendly service, with a little bowl of nibbles with your beverage. I can definitely see this place getting busy at night, but I like the quiet luxury of 11:30am! Aperitivos are priced at $18, cocktails at $22, domestic beers are $10, import beers are $14, wines by the glass range from $16-22. read more

Absolutely beautiful bar. Tons of comfy seating. Very close to the Venetian entrance/front desk. It is insanely pricey (like $40 for 2 vodka/tonic). I thought the bartender was friendly, but not attentive. However, he was training a new guy so that might have something to do with it. I would stop in again and try sitting out in the open area on a couch and maybe not at the bar, but that is personal preference as it seemed like the waitresses were a bit more attentive and the seating looked more comfy! read more
