The Petrossian Bar is just off the Bellagio's lobby as you enter the casino, opposite the Hermès shop. It's a piano bar that has lots of nice snacks, but their specialty is caviar. I'm not a fish-egg person, so I can't speak to that, but the other small plates on offer are well done and nicely presented. The wine list isn't extensive, but what's there is pretty good. If you need step-free access, there is a ramp available around to your right (as you face the host podium) by the entrance to the VIP lounge. If you order something to drink, they'll also offer you a small trio of salty snacks. Spiced candied nuts, potato chips, and popcorn were what I got. I stopped here twice: once I got the shrimp cocktail, featuring four huge prawns and a nice cocktail sauce. The other time I tried the vegetable crudité, which consisted of cauliflower and carrots of various colors, small tomatoes, celery, apples, and asparagus. It came with a nice Green Goddess dressing, which I liked. Especially if there's someone at the piano, this is a pleasant place to pause and people watch. A fun bar located inside of the Bellagio, they have a smaller bar seating area but plenty to offer. I headed in here during a break at a conference recently. The hostess was very friendly and the bar is self seat. I was able to get a menu and be greeted by the bartender within just a few moments of having been seated. There is limited seating available at the bar, so it does get a bit of a tight squeeze as people pack in. But that just goes to show you that it's a popular spot. I opted to just grab a couple of drinks we'll catching up on a few emails and tasks as it was later in the afternoon. They are a bit pricier for drink options then some of the nearby spots, but it's a popular location and it's easy to see why they have an upcharge for convenience. Be sure to check out the full menu to see all of the different drink offerings they have. They have some fun cocktails that you might want to try that are unique to the spot. Overall: A Bar seating gets a little bit tight to squeeze in, and there isn't much room for bags or anything extra. However they have plenty of menu options, including some great unique drinks. One of our favorite places at Bellagio -- with one big disappointment this time. We absolutely love Petrossian Bar and have been coming here since 2009. It has become one of those special places we always look forward to visiting whenever we are in Las Vegas. One of the things that makes it even more special is the staff. Amazingly, some of the same wonderful people have been taking care of us since we first started coming here, and they are always warm, professional and welcoming. This visit, the shrimp cocktail was excellent, the cheese board was wonderful, and we had a fantastic bottle of white wine. Their wine selection continues to be very good and is one of the reasons we enjoy spending time here. Unfortunately, the piano experience was a major disappointment this time. We fondly remember Norman, who used to create such a wonderful atmosphere. The pianist during this visit would play only a few songs and then stop for ten minutes or even longer. He seemed to spend more time on breaks than actually playing. For a place like Petrossian, the live piano is a huge part of the atmosphere, so this really affected the experience. The food, wine and service remain wonderful, but we truly hope the musical experience improves because it is such an important part of what makes this place special. read more

My husband took me to Vegas for my birthday and he booked high tea. We tried to check in 15 minutes before our reservation, but they told us to come back exactly on time, as our server wasn't there yet. No issue, we walked around to check out the Lunar New Year setup at the Botanical Garden (which is basically right next to here), and then came back. They took us to our reserved table by the bar, which was a small table with two cushy chairs. We opted for the caviar high tea ($88/person). We also got to pick a pot of tea per person. I got the Thunderbolt Darjeeling, and my husband got the Sencha Fukujyu Cha. Presentation is nice, they brought out a standing three tier stand to put the food on. Scones were nice and hot, and comes with butter, clotted cream, and raspberry jam - which is house-made, according to our server. Pastries were raspberry macaron, chocolate cake, and lemon tart. I'm not a huge raspberry fan, but I could appreciate the macaron was quite fresh. Chocolate cake and lemon tart were more artificial/supermarket tasting. Mini sandwiches were egg salad, ham, cucumber, and a truffle parmesan cream puff-like pastry. The ham sandwich was not great - quite dry. Egg salad was standard. Cucumber was decent, but had a strong lemon zest flavor. Our favorite was the truffle parmesan cream puff with fresh truffle on top. The caviar portion consisted of 4 different bites - the hazelnut one just didn't work with the caviar, it was overwhelmingly hazelnut-y. The hamachi caviar 'taco' was great and fresh. The tuna cone was also quite good. The best of the four bites was definitely the potato darphin, which was decadent and buttery. It was cold, unfortunately, but so good with the caviar. There was also a pianist, playing periodically. For whatever reason, he was playing a medley of Disney music. Overall, a good experience worth trying once. read more

The "porch" area affords you prime piano location (great for making requests) and the most excellent people watching. I got the tuna-caviar-tacos, the caviar-studded deviled eggs, the caviar topped crispy potatoes, and a half-dozen of oysters. My mom was visiting and I took her to high tea at Petrossian Bar at the Bellagio. While there are some issues with the product, we were very pleased at the overall value and experience. We arrived about 10 minutes prior to our reservation time, and the hostess was extremely brusque. She was one of the most unpleasant and unfriendly people I think I have ever encountered. My mom rides a mobility scooter due to back issues and it was a hassle to drive her around and up a ramp so she could get to our table. This really angered the hostess for some reason, and she was super rude about it. This woman should not be working in front of house. Not a good start. We were then shown to our reserved table, which was a nice spot with a casual velvet sofa and two large chairs. It looked cool, but was awkward when trying to enjoy tea service. We'd have preferred a proper table with chairs, but it is what it is. Our table setting was pretty, with silver accessories and boring white china. We were presented with a tea menu that had an excellent selection of hot teas! Mom went for the classic English Breakfast while I had the Imperial Oolong. Soon after, our server brought our teas. A bit later, the food arrived. Our bites were served on a large tiered tray placed on the floor next to us. There were savory and sweet bites that were a cut above other high teas in town. The presentation was fantastic, and everything looked almost too pretty to eat! I'm more of a fan of traditional, simple tea foods, so a lot of this stuff was just too weird for my palate. Mini sandwiches included an egg salad, iberico ham, cucumber, and truffle with parmesan. The pastries were a raspberry macaron, chocolate cake, and lemon tart. I really only enjoyed the chocolate cake and the raspberry filling of the macaron, but I tried each bite. We were also served a basket of very small scones that were overcooked and dry. I should've asked for better ones, but I got the feeling that's just how they are prepared here. The food was good enough to justify the $55 price tag, although I wasn't really a fan of the menu. The bread on a couple of the sandwiches was very dry, and it was obvious the sandwiches had been preassembled and refrigerated. Service was inattentive, which didn't bother us too much since we weren't in a hurry. The pace was very leisurely, making it a good way to relax and unwind in the late afternoon. There was a pianist playing live music, but we couldn't hear it as our table was in the more "inside" portion of the bar / restaurant. I would've preferred to be able to hear and see the musician, so be sure to request a table near him if that's also important to you. I would probably do this tea again, even though it wasn't my favorite. It's a very good value, especially for a fancy Strip restaurant. And it made my mom happy, which is priceless! read more

Treated myself to afternoon tea at Petrossian Bar. Wow, what an experience! Impeccable service, lovely ambiance, and delicious food. The scones were light and fluffy. The butter was so good I almost licked the bowl. The tea sandwiches were good, maybe not amazing, but the caviar bites were spectacular. I was so full I couldn't even touch the beautiful desserts, so I packed them up to enjoy later. The only cloud over an otherwise delightful afternoon, was the table of 5 loud and obnoxious drunks two tables over. Who goes to high tea to get hammered and scream/laugh/swear loudly ? The Dale Chihuly ceiling is a magical backdrop and it's a special treat if your timing coincides with the pianist. I loved the smokiness of it.. one of the main reasons for ordering this one. $30. The Bellagio Martini - Grey goose vodka, dry vermouth, lemon essence, and a Ossetian Caviar Cigar. I admit I couldn't stop touching that block of ice it came on... so nice. $40. In addition to the caviar cigar with my Bellagio Martini, we tried some tuna cones, the Iberico ham, caviar tacos, and opera cake. All the drinks were great, and the Vodka Flight Extraordinary Tasting: Belvedere Single Estate, Carbonadi and Chopin Family Reserve were different, but all smooth and fragrant.
