My wife and I had a great time at the Ski Lodge. The service was great, the drinks were delicious, and the pizza squares were amazing! The only downside I'll mention is the s'mores kit. We literally only received enough for one tiny s'more each. This thing was $32 bucks. Definitely not worth it. Aside from that, I would absolutely recommend a visit here. Finding it is pretty easy. I love the theme and concept of this Speakeasy: a ski lodge is not something you'd expect in the middle of a desert! And to find the door to the Ski Lodge, well, we walked right past it! It looked like a closet door -- no kidding. The only reason I looked again was because someone wearing a jacket was standing by this alleged closet door, which seemed oddly suspicious! (I know, I should be a detective! Haha) The cocktail menu was inventive. I also appreciated their commitment to the themed decor, like the snow behind the bar. If we had more people, I would have wanted to do a group ski shot (literally shot glasses sitting on a ski, and you tip the ski so everyone drinks at the same time). It was so unique, like where else are you going to do that?!! We only stayed for one quick drink here because it was fairly tame and quiet. It was a small venue. And it didn't have good service, or at least an inviting and warm one, which was unfortunate and surprising. For a small place that wasn't busy, we could never find someone to help us. It took a long time to order, a long time to get our drink, and a long time to get our tab. I think Ski Lodge has a lot of potential. The theme is fabulous and the venue rocks. The service is important, and there is so much competition in Vegas that service is more than just serving drinks. I've been here a couple times now, and it's one of my favorite speakeasies. I love the vibes in here. They are elite. The line generally isn't too long. We have usually come on a weekend afternoon and haven't waited longer than 15-20 mins. I will say that some drinks are stronger than others. I ordered a Yard Sale and it tasted amazing, but not too much alcohol in it. I've also ordered the Full Send, No Refunds, and that one is a lot stronger. They have some creative, cool drinks. Once you are welcomed in, you are in for a treat in this cozy, dark, ski lodge inspired bar. The location was a little tricky to find at first, but once we noticed a small line of people waiting near Wicked Spoon and the subtle ski symbol on the door next to it, we knew we were in the right place. It definitely has that hidden speakeasy vibe. We were initially quoted about a 20-minute wait, but to our pleasant surprise, we were seated in under 10 minutes. After wandering around the Cosmopolitan for a while trying to find a themed bar or speakeasy, this was such a relief and really set a positive tone for the night. We each ordered one of their holiday-themed cocktails, and every single one was a hit. The drinks were well-balanced, flavorful, and not overly sweet, which we really appreciated. Once you walk through Superfrico to get to the speakeasy you're immersed into a cozy ski lodge. I went during the holidays so it only seemed fitting to check it out. Seriously... windows that look out over snowy landscape, a fire place with cozy chairs, a bar, seating areas tucked in all nooks and crannies, and just an overall chalet vibe. Actually, a moody chalet. Very intimate space. Drink options are super unique and you will want to try several. Can't remember what the two were that we ordered. Had to pull out the old phone light as the place is dark. One had a cucumber slice with some spicy sprinkle of something on it. Both drinks were absolutely delicious. Ordered the s'mores kit to munch on. It was delightful and an experience within itself. Comes on a board with a pit that they actually light on fire. You then roast your own marshmallows and assemble your treat. The cookies are shaped like penguins and are gingerbread (one was missing a foot - poor guy). The chocolate is a mix of white and milk. This is decadent! Super rich. Just adorable presentation as well. This is a place you don't want to miss. We ended up waiting about 40 minutes as they were switching over from a private event. We were told 10-15 minutes multiple times. The hostess was incredible though. Very friendly. Know that you are paying for the experience here. Drinks are $25 each. Everything is super well themed and it transports you to feeling like you're in a cozy and warm cabin. The drinks are a bit pricey, but that's standard for Vegas. 25-30$ at least. I did get the "Not the Buttons" which was a gingerbread old fashioned with a build your own gingerbread man on the side! Super fun!! Tucked away on the 2nd floor next to Superfrico. There's no signage just a skier on the door, quietly hinting at the snowstorm waiting inside. It's not huge, so you might have to wait a bit. For our Friday midnight visit, the wait for 2 was ~15 mins, not bad, and honestly entertaining thanks to the drunken pregame crowd in line. Once you're in, you're transported straight into a cozy, retro ski cabin. Think apres ski chic meets secret Vegas hideout. I ordered the Slava's Snowstorm, their espresso martini remix, and holy moly, what a drink. The 1st sip hits you with hot cardamom foam (yes, it's actually warm), followed by the ice cold shaken espresso cocktail underneath. It's a temperature rollercoaster in a glass, in the best possible way. The warmth fades fast, so drink that top layer before it cools. The other cocktails we tried were just as well balanced and creative. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the vibe? Spot on....dimly lit, a little mischievous, and perfectly laid back for a Vegas speakeasy. Prices? Ughhh they're steep, around $25 a drink but hey, it's Vegas. The best hang in The Cosmo - We tried to access the Ski Lodge late on a Saturday, but the wait was too long. So, we went back on Sunday at 9pm (10 minute wait). It's cozy with occasional "ShotSki" excitement. The snowy windows are fantastic, the staff was themed and friendly, and we really liked our drinks. I only wish we'd known they had food. And, we would have preferred a break from the Vegas Strip tunes to hear some "Ski Lodge" music, maybe even Swiss drinking songs! Dinner ended a bit late and the bar we wanted to go to closed at midnight on a Sunday night. We wouldn't have made it before last call. This one and a few others in Cosmo were open late and is located right across the street from our hotel so we went here. It's easy to miss if you don't know what to look for but my friend had already looked to see that it is located near Wicked Spoon. There were also a few people in line outside the entrance. We knew we were at the right place when we saw the door with a person skiing on it. The interior makes you feel like you're in a ski lodge. Personally, it wasn't really my vibe and wasn't my choice either. It felt a bit dive bar-ish. I prefer more of an upscale cocktail bar. I didn't like the music. I also didn't like my drink either and wish I had chosen something different. My friend and I ordered the Slavas Snowstorm. It was strong!! Too spirit forward for me. The cardamom foam was nice though. My other friend ordered the Salty Sleddog. Can't remember if I liked that one or not. Drinks here are a bit expensive. I believe ours were $25 each. This is a fun spot with great servers and ambiance. But my review is going to focus specifically on one of the weirdest drinks I've ever had in my life, the "Radness Not Sadness." Our excellent server asked me three times if I was sure I wanted it and offered to bring me something else if I didn't like it, which was perhaps a clue to the unusual nature of what I was about to consume. The drink is made with wasabi infused vodka and habanero pepper. Check out the angry little pepper face on the rim. But it doesn't taste just like wasabi. I don't know what it tastes like; in fact, I kept tasting this extremely unusual concoction to figure out whether I liked it or not. I finally decided I did. It was just completely bizarre and thoroughly enjoyable. The fresh wasabi comes through some other interesting flavors I cannot name and am still a little afraid of. Beyond that, the ambiance was very cute and ski-lodge like. There is often a line to get in, and a wait to be served inside, but the drinks and atmosphere are worth it.
