Salads were good but over priced. Regular comes with 8 toppings but even broccoli is an extra cost. Also portions for the extras are tiny, we got like 3 florettes and less than a tablespoon of mango. I think several items on the bar were thawed from frozen, not fresh. For example, the peas, which often need cooked prior to serving for health safety requirements. read more

Hadn't heard about this place, but then we got a coupon in the mail and thought to check it out. We got there about 630 at night. Very friendly and helpful staff. The owner took time to greet us, even though he was helping somebody else. The place was very clean. The food was very fresh, considering they were closing fairly soon. I got the make your own and I like how you can keep on adding more of something if you want it. We had planned on staying, but our kiddos were a little too rambunctious. But the owner went out of his way as we were leaving to thank us for coming in and to have good night. Now that this place is on our radar, we will be back! read more

Kind of disappointed this time. We come here a lot but have always ordered regular salads instead of large. Here's the issue, ordered 2 large salads @33.00 total. I got a whole lot of lettuce but the same amount of toppings they put in the Regular Salad. I felt like the staff was scared to add more! There is absolutely no value to ordering a large salad if this is normal practice. The salads are not cheap and they have been worth it up to now. Hubby and I stopped in and decided to try the build your own regular size. So many options for toppings, and the salad was HUGE! Anything you like on your salad, they have it! Everything was fresh and sooo good! The salad was so big, I didn't think I would finish. I took the last few bites home with me cause I for sure was not going to waste it! I was very excited to see this place opening close to my home. I love salad and was looking forward to finally have a place that specializes in just salads. The staff was very friendly and explained how to order, washed their hands before putting my salad together. I thought the portions are decent, don't listen to the idiots in the other reviews. A soup and a regular sized salad filled me up. Even came with bread. The soup was super hot and very good. The price is not that bad, at least you can build your salad and ask for extra scoops and not get charged. The only few things I was disappointed in was the lettuce was very limp, wasn't very fresh. The cucumbers tasted off, wish they weren't chopped up with the skin on. I would have preferred cherry tomatoes instead of chopped. And the buttermilk ranch was a little bland :( This place has potential. read more

Fantastic family run business with amazing salads, delicious ingredients, soft rolls, and good soup options! We were immediately greeted by their kind staff and each got tons of ingredients in our salads. They even let us sample their dressings to help us decide what we wanted. We each got a free white or wheat roll that was super soft, and one of us got a soup which was good too. Our salads were huge so definitely got great bang for your buck. Just tried the new Salad World at 83rd and Cactus. It's around the Cactus side of the Safeway shopping center. All I can say is Wowee! We are going to be frequent flyers of this place!
