What I love about this place is the high amount of customization options as well as the ability to turn any salad into a wrap. There's a veritable plethora of toppings to choose from: different types of protein, cheeses, fruits, vegetables, and dressings. My wrap costs $15 and it was filled to the brim with as many toppings as I could put in it. I just wished they actually wrapped it properly because it came apart while I was eating it. I was also sad that they ran out of chocolate chip cookies. I find it amusing that the decorations, signs, deals, and advertisements all over the store scream excitement but the actual atmosphere and the bored workers created a pall of insouciance.

Such a great spot! I love how many options they have all around. My mom is picky about lettuce, and they had a bunch of options right off the jump. There's fresh fruit, lots of veggies, and soooo many salad dressing options. Everything tasted fresh, and it was incredibly clean. The ladies working were very helpful, and walked us through the menu. We will definitely be back!

What an awesome place! Salad world gives you an experience full of different hearty options to create. They have romaine lettuce, spinach and a few other greens. Lots of toppings to choose from. They have fruits, boiled eggs, banana peppers, cucumbers jalapeños, onions, corn and so much more. They offer cheddar cheese, feta cheese, blue cheese crumbles, and Parmesan cheese! As for the protein, they have steak, grilled chicken, tofu, buffalo chicken breast, ham, and even salami! I ordered the steak with romaine lettuce and for dressing I used their cilantro lime ranch, OMG SO DAMN GOOD!!! Ambiance was clean and bright. Service was excellent! The owner was very friendly because he allowed my dog into his restaurant. The staff were nice as well and it was a great first experience for us! We'll be back soon

Ingredients are fresh, but I unroll their burrito to eat the tortilla separately so the salad looks squished. Delicious!

This salad place is fantastic. Fresh ingredients, portions good, and consistent. I was skeptical at first about a salad restaurant these days but this place is great. Been having their healthy salads for months now. Keep up the great work!!

First time here, already love this place, any and everything you could want in a salad they got it. Zen provided great customer service was very helpful in making good choices, new place smell, clean quiet nice location in Peoria. They also do Uber eats, Grubhub and most mobile apps.. I'm a fan.

    Produce bad. Avoid eating here.

It's noon and the lunch rush and the owner, who looks like a bouncer or member of a bike gang, is casually enjoying his lunch while he has one girl serving the lunch crowd and taking cash too. That was only the first problem. His iceberg lettuce comes from a bag and his romaine lettuce was old and brown. Had to ask him to get some fresh lettuce and then he starts giving me attitude. Finally. down at the chicken area, the box of chicken is 95% empty and the chicken is cut so small, it looks like chicken salad. Meanwhile lazy owner still sitting at table eating his lunch. Definitely do not give your money to this guy or his restaurant.

Salad World is a casual "Chipotle Style" salad bar restaurant located in Peoria a few miles up (or down) the highway from the P83 area. They offer many "HEALTHY" option options with around 60 things to pick from. The salad bowls come in regular size and in a very large size. You pick your lettuce, fruits, vegetables, cheese, toppings, dressing, and add on a protein (chicken breast, ham, vegetarian chicken, steak, tofu) The salad bowl come with a warm soft roll or you can add on turning it into a wrap. They also offer soft beverages and do offer a child's plate. I tried a regular sized salad with chicken. I added things like radish, jicama, carrots, onions, garbanzo beans, Asian dressing, sesame sticks, and almonds. I asked for avocado but it didn't make it to my salad. My salad really was pretty good. The chicken was a much better quality than what you normally get. I didn't complain about the missing avocado because I don't know if I was charged for it or not? My husband got a salad in the large size. It was enormous! He went for chicken, steak, bacon, cheese, eggs, and some vegetables. He thought it was very good. He also thought the meat toppings were better than what you get at many places. He really liked that his salad came with a roll. I do have to note that you have to like smokey meat to eat the steak because it is very smoky. Everything seemed fresh. Meats were a better quality. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant seemed clean. Pricing seemed very fair...(especially for the large salad) A great alternative to anything fast food. I'd highly recommend if you are in the area.

Very clean. Excellent choice of salad items.

First time here. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Excellent fresh selection. Nice and cold. Will return.

    Large to go salad!

Staff here is friendly, patient and helpful when someone who can't decide between all of the options is in front of them. :) I ordered "the rebel" French dip and loved every bite of it. I especially loved the little side salad that came with it that I wasn't expecting. The French dip itself was savory, tender, flavorful and the horseradish added the perfect "kick" to the wrap. I'd definitely order it again but there were also so many other things that I'd try on the menu! I'll stop back every time I'm in Arizona because it's worth the trip to try everything that looks so yummy!

Naturals tones with pops of green make this a delightful place to meet up with your friends. I had the tuna poke bowl. The flavors were super bright and hit all the classic notes of poke. I thoroughly enjoyed the passion fruit black tea, unsweetened of course. I'm not one for overly flavored drinks but they crushed it. I went back for seconds. I'm actually sad I found this on the last day in town, not my first.

On this visit, I ordered the Don Quixote, which came with crisp mixed greens, southwestern chicken, fresh avocado, mango chunks, diced apples, roasted corn, and creamy ginger dressing. The combination of textures worked well together, it had a nice crunch and was flavorful. My only criticism is that they should pay closer attention to ingredient quality. Some of the apple pieces in my bowl had browned flesh, which took away from an otherwise fresh experience.

For a place that acts like it's high-quality, serving pasta that tastes this cheap and flavorless is just wrong. The rest of the menu isn't much better; everything is surprisingly bland and lacks any real kick. You'd expect "Mad" flavors, but you get food that tastes like nothing. It's frustrating to pay these prices for a meal that satisfies absolutely no cravings and leaves you wishing you'd just eaten at home. The service is just as bad as the food because it is incredibly slow. Even if the line is short, the employees move like they're in slow motion and don't care that people are on their lunch breaks. You end up standing around forever just to get a basic order, which makes the whole experience feel like a chore. The staff seems totally checked out, which makes the long wait feel even more annoying. There's no hustle or friendly energy at all. It's hard to justify coming back when you know you're going to waste half your afternoon waiting for a meal that wasn't even worth the time. As for the atmosphere, it is incredibly boring and dull. The restaurant feels cold and sterile, with zero decorations or personality to make it feel welcoming. It has the same "blah" vibe as a doctor's office waiting room, which really kills any enjoyment of the meal. Overall, between the gross Mac and cheese and the lifeless environment, there's no reason to visit this spot. If you want a better meal, you're better off looking for local favorites on Yelp or checking the Fast Casual site for better-rated chains. It's just not worth the disappointment.

Service was exceptional - from wine recommendations to always having full water glasses. The evening began with an impressive charcuterie board featuring a generous assortment of cured meats, cheeses, olives, and antipasti. The variety was outstanding, offering everything from delicate prosciutto and salami to creamy spreads and tangy marinated vegetables. The board was beautifully arranged and encouraged sharing, conversation, and plenty of flavor exploration. The butternut squash ravoli were served in a rich cream sauce, it was indulgent and satisfying. The pasta was tender and well-filled, while the velvety sauce added a luxurious touch without overwhelming the dish. It was a hit. The orecchiette pasta showcased a more rustic side of Italian cooking. Combined with broccolini, spicy sausage, tomatoes, and a dusting of Parmesan, the dish offered a nice balance of savory, fresh, and earthy flavors. The pasta was perfectly cooked and hearty enough to stand on its own as a memorable entrée. The pizza delivered everything diners hope for from a traditional Italian pie: a beautifully blistered crust, vibrant tomato sauce, and generous toppings. The combination of olives, artichokes, mushrooms, and cured meats created layers of flavor, while the char on the crust suggested a properly hot oven and careful attention to technique. Dessert provided a fitting finale. The tiramisu was light and creamy with a generous dusting of cocoa, offering the classic coffee-and-mascarpone flavors that make it a perennial favorite. The diplomatico was a cream-filled pastry added a contrasting texture with its flaky layers and sweet filling, making it difficult to choose a favorite between the two. The atmosphere was warm and intimate, with low lighting that creates a comfortable dining experience. This restaurant excels at delivering authentic Italian comfort food with quality ingredients and generous portions. The standout charcuterie board, flavorful pasta dishes, well-executed pizza, and exceptional desserts combine to create a memorable dining experience that would be easy to recommend for both casual dinners and special occasions.
