I'm so sad and disappointed and have never wanted to get out of a place so bad in my life. At least the manager did remove the inedible food from our bill.

We saw the great reviews on Yelp and decided to give it a shot on a Saturday evening. The restaurant has only a few tables and seems to do a lot of business as takeout (you can order online). It's brightly lit and clean. When you enter, there's a tablet by the door to place your order. I ordered the Grilled Beef (Banh Mi Bo Nuong). My girlfriend got the Crispy Tofu / BM Chay- Dau Hu. They were inexpensive-- all around $9. We also got drinks-- I got the lychee lemonade (under the tea choices) and she got actual lychee tea. Food came in under 10 minutes. They were delicious. The bread was perfect-- it had a nice crispness to it, but didn't deteriorate into a million crumbs when you bit. The mayo, pickles, jalapeno, cucumbers, etc., all were perfect on the sandwich, too. And the size was decent-- if you're a small eater, it'd be enough to satisfy you. I eat a fair bit, so I needed to go somewhere else to get dessert, but the price was still great for what I got. My girlfriend liked her tofu banh mi as well. One interesting thing-- I went to the restroom, and I saw it actually had a bidet attachment-- very unusual but very cool. There was apparently one in the lady's room, too, I heard. Service was good albeit minimal-- basically, the server gave us our food and that was it. But that makes sense for a place that's mostly takeout anyway... this isn't a "table service" restaurant, and you need to clear your own place after finishing. Overall, for what it was, I'd give it 5 stars. Definitely would come back. I do wish they offered more "side options" (they did have fries, eggrolls, and a couple more appetizers), but so be it.
