Saladworks has ONE JOB. Salad. Today I purchased two Salads to go and I won't go back. I am done with the slimy lettuce. It is clear that the lettuce (Romaine in this case, but the spring mix suffers from the same issue) is being HELD TOO LONG. I spent my meal picking out slimy lettuce pieces. It ruined my appetite. Come on, Saladworks! You can and should do BETTER. Your stock in trade is SALAD. Stop cheaping out and start serving lettuce that is crisp and fresh. read more

Another great Saladworks location! Right in the heart of everything it can be found on Haddon Avenue. The aesthetic design inside goes well with Collingswood. Huge snaps to the interior design team. The offerings are standard salad. They also soup here. I highly recommend the Italian wedding soup. So delicious and comes with a roll. The staff are friendly and hardworking. We came in on a Sunday around 1:30pm and watched a young women clean it spotless from top to bottom. She even wiped each seat down and clearly took pride in her cleaning skills. I hope the management team knows what they have in their young weekend team! What are you waiting for? I was very disappointed by the customer service given to us at this location. My boyfriend had never been to a Saladworks so he was unfamiliar with what options they had so I was explaining it to him and figuring out what to order. The girl who was making salads was acting like she was in a rush and didn't have time to wait for us to decide so I was trying to rush with what I wanted and every time I was looking to decide she was rolling her eyes and had a attitude on her face. There was nobody in line behind us so we weren't holding anyone up. I felt so overwhelmed by the way she handled our interaction that I wound up getting a salad I wasn't happy with. I work in the customer service business and I would never treat my customer that way like we were bothering her. Your job is to make sure the customer has a good experience and be patient with them as sometimes we may need some time to look and think over our options. I hope nobody else is made to feel this way when they visit your establishment. I will continue to get my salad from the Deptford location since they have no issue with being patient and approachable. My advice is to learn how to make a better impression and learn better patience when it comes to your customers! read more

This review comes more from a customer feedback standpoint as opposed to an intent to answer the question, "What is Saladworks?" You all know what to expect, unless you've been living in the rainforest and growing your own vegetation for the past fifteen or so years. I've been patronizing the chain for ages, since the very first location opened in Cherry Hill Mall. Unfortunately, the ginormous salads I enjoyed during my teenage hangouts at the food court have been whittled away over time. Remember when the container was that gigantic seafoam green styrofoam thingy? Now it's a square plastic bowl that contains about half the salad. Veggies and other toppings are usually very fresh but protein options are questionable. I avoid the chicken at all costs. Dressings are abundant and there are plenty of low fat or fat free options for the health conscious. The salads cost anywhere from seven to almost ten bucks, if you throw on an extra vedg or even some croutons. It's a salad monopoly! Lettuce highway robbery, I tell you! At this particular location, the employees are all friendly, the place is clean and it is a hop, skip and a jump from my office, which is why I keep going back (and forking over my Hamiltons like a cucumber junkie). It's nice to have a healthy lunch option but the quantity to cost ratio is kind of ridic, which is why I can only part with three stars. read more

I don't know what it is, but almost every time I eat at Saladworks, I get a nasty case of the runs within an hour. What the heck is that?? I usually get the same one; Turkey Club. I hadn't been in the last couple of months for this reason, but I thought I'd try it today again, knowing I was going home afterwards and...same thing. My Guess is they spray the food with something (to retain freshness?) that does not agree with my gut. Oh well, too bad, because I like their salads when I want to blow $12 for salad and a soda. Just really wonder what the cause of the gastrointestinal issues are. And no, this happens at no other time to me whether eating out or at home. Having said that, the staff is always pleasant and it's a bummer I should not eat there. we had our office order the total 5 people were almost $80.00, one of my co-workers ordered a AVACADO Salad, no tomatoes add extra AVACADO, when she first open her salad there was NO AVACADO this is not the 1st time its actually the 3rd time first 2 times she asked me not to say nothing. i told her now i will call them and complain as she was almost done her salad she finally found 2 very small pieces of AVACADO. i called and ask for the servier Beatrice G. and a young lady answered i told her what happen and she said she is actually the one that made the salad and put an entire 1/2 of AVACADO in the salad. i told her i apologize but my co-worker showed me her salad even if she found 2 small pieces at the bottom of her salad that does not justify an AVACADO salad. the young lady was not helpful but instead was arguementative, what ever happen to customer service and the customer is always right? My co-worker paid $13.50 for her salad she should be able to enjoy it. Not satisfy with the customer service provided and how quickly she jumped to defend herself instead of stepping back and asking what can i do to make this right? My office decided to order from the Collingswood Saladworks for our holiday lunch today. We opted to order online with a such a big detailed order. Krista, from Saladworks, called to confirm the order with me and let me know it would be there very shortly as we were the first delivery of the day. The food arrived 15 minutes earlier than expected. Not only was it correct and fresh upon arrival, but they also included a Christmas cookie tin filled with chocolate chip cookies for the holidays. It was such a great surprise! We will definitely be ordering from them for future office lunches and parties! read more

Terrible manager and attitude at this location. I frequent the Glassboro NJ Saladworks quite often, as I have moved from the Collingswood area. I returned to this Saladworks yesterday and I will never eat here again. First we were met with a mildew/foul odor as soon as we hit the door. The experience went downhill from there. "A trainee" who did not know how to make salads/bowls was put in charge while the manager and another employee busied themselves doing nothing. *I* -not an employee* had to tell him that he should be able to find the recipes for bowls/salads behind the counter. He couldn't. No one-including the manager/nor the smirky young man who should be training him- would help him or respond to my alert that he was confused. When I told the manager three times that someone needs to help him her reply was he is training," as if training doesn't include actually guiding someone through the process. When he did make an incorrect messy/half full bowl that he though was a salad, the manager did not apologize and became hostile. This manager is not worthy of representing Saladworks nor interacting with customers if she cannot show respect. My recommendation: Find a different location. Save your nose and your pocket. read more

I used to love this Saladworks but lately I have been so disappointed :( I love salads and live in Collingswood, so it's super convenient but here is a summary of my last 5 visits: 3 times in a row (2x it was on the side and they forgot it, 1 time i asked for it to be mixed in and thought it was while paying but they didn't), then 1 time everything was fine, and then today they forgot my roll-- after asking what kind of bread I wanted :-/ additionally, the salad mixing seem to be getting smaller but when we go to other Saladworks locations, we get more mixings. I am hopeful these mistakes can get corrected because I loooooove Saladworks. I tried to find a way to email the manager, but couldn't find n email link on the website so went to yelp. read more

Gotta love paying $10 for a salad, only to get home and realize they didn't give you avocado (even though the salad is supposed to come with it) and they barely gave you any dressing. I was served old, wilted, slimy lettuce. Very disappointed. I could not even eat my salad because it was completely inedible.

Not as good as other Saladworks in the area. They skimp on the lettuce base and that's okay because the lettuce isn't as fresh as other Saladworks I've been to. I'd rather drive farther to the one in Cherry Hill to get a better salad. read more

I've been going to this specific Saladworks for a little over a year not just because it was the close to work, but because the service is always on point it's a confortable setting. I've tried Moorestown Mall, Cinnaminson, & Cherry Hill, N.J. areas and those 3 locations the workers are rude & stuck up. When out of state family & friends come to visit Collingwood Saladworks is the best place to go. The mgr greets you, staff are friendly & pleasant, facility & location is always clean. I wasn't impressed the last time I was here. Ever since I tried HoneyGrow, I feel that the ingredients at Saladworks aren't as fresh.

I come here at least once a week with my boss for lunch and it is great! The staff is friendly and helpful and have always made my salad or sandwich perfectly. The ingrediants are fresh and prepped daily you can tell. Overall a very clean and nice place to grab a casual lunch. The owner is often around and she addresses the customers and also steps in to help when needed. Great location! read more

I frequent this saladworks location often when I am working in the area but have been disappointed lately. I always get the create your own and have noticed that they are really skimping out on the toppings and dressing as compared to the other saladworks locations that I frequent. Don't get me wrong, the salads are good and the staff is friendly but the last time I was in I had to ask for more dressing because they barely put any on and they put it in a cup instead of mixing it in like I had asked and charged me extra for it. This is not what I expect when spending $10 for a salad. I will be hesitant to stop here for lunch again. read more

I like Saladworks, but I don't like this location. The girls behind the counter don't use the food-safe gloves to handle your bowl. I guess they don't want to mess up their manicures?! They give you attitude if you ask them to use the gloves and they laugh at you with each other after you sit down to eat. While they gossip about your request or concern for your own health, the tables are neglected and you end up eating around the filth of others before you. read more

so I come in the store waiting to get help the guy comes in from the back of the store wipes his nose pick up a pair of gloves and say how may I help you so I said to him how about you wash your hands first before you put those gloves on I just seen you playing with your nose so he looked at me like I'm crazy and had a big problem with me asking him to wash his hands so I ask for another server and he hunched up his shoulders saying oh well and walk away with still not even washing his hands that made me feel very disgusted and not to even ever go there again and I'm a regular customer that go there at least about four times out of the week!! read more
