My friend brought me here for lunch, and I tried the Buffalo Chicken wrap with a medium amount of buffalo dressing. I was overall very pleased with the fair prices and quality of food -- I enjoyed it, and it was a large, filling wrap. Let me start by saying, I really wanted to like thIs place. I love a beautiful, fresh salad but as our son says "this ain't it chief." When you walk into Saladworks, you are greeted with a large line of salad items. They are fresh looking and beautiful colored. The menu boasts some delicious combinations but they are writing a check with their descriptions that their staff cannot cash with follow through. My fiancé and I came in today and ordered. My fiancé ordered the Cobb salad which is traditional blue cheese, avocado, chicken, and bacon along with boiled eggs. I had planned to order a salad as well but as my fiancé is building his salad with the girl making it, they were out of boiled eggs, no apologies. Ok, we can move along without eggs. We move down the line and they are out of bacon. This is where my fiancé was frustrated and was ready to walk out. I took over his salad as at that point he was not wanting to eat there anymore. The girl finished making my salad and I got a small tortilla soup. She made me a cup of the wrong soup and gave me tomato basil instead. I caught it and then watched her get the cup of soup and dump it back into the pot. She rang us up and a smallish salad, a rice crispy treat and small cup of soup was $17.50, this is with no drink. I was told after the fact that their receipt printer doesn't work. I tried to maintain positivity on the way out the door thinking man, this must be a great salad for that kind of price, wrong. The salad was meh. The chicken was popcorn chicken like with very little flavor. It was cold. The tomatoes were somewhat mushy. The lettuce was crisp but the dressing had little flavor. I ate a few bites until I came across rock hard avocados. These avocados were so hard that it was difficult for my fork to spear them. The final straw came about 1/4 of the way into the salad when one of the hard avocados had skin on it still. The soup was ok, kind of tomatoey and thick. We would not come back for that kind of price tag with the quality presented there. read more

I ordered a salad through DoorDash that I specifically selected the ingredients. I only added 2 extra ingredients that cost $4, it was some shredded cheese and a boiled egg. I also selected to have cheddar shredded cheese as well, as part of my "allowed" 5 ingredients and didn't get that either. The carrots were advertised as shredded and I got chopped carrots that were very thick slices. The salad that I got is not what I asked for, I asked for spring mix and got iceberg lettuce instead. I paid $18 for a salad that was basic and not satisfying at all. I could have spent less money on all these ingredients at a grocery store and made it way better. I also ordered a KIDS chicken Caesar wrap meal with a side of mandarin oranges and cucumber slices. the wrap that I received for a CHILD was huge. It was a full sized wrap when the description and picture on the menu both show half of a wrap in a small box with the sides. I didn't receive the sides for it either. Spending over $45 for a salad and a kids wrap meal is the most outlandish thing ever, this salad should have been equipped with way more, I have to pay extra for toppings outside of the 5 they allow. This place will unfortunately not last. The salad I got was very good, but extremely overpriced at $11. I ordered the "farmhouse" salad which included turkey, brussel sprouts, butternut squash and a few other things. The ratio of lettuce to fillings was 90/10 though, which made the $11 price tag outrageous. You can ask for more toppings, but they cost $1 for each additional one. I would love to try some other salads and bowls that they have, but I just don't see myself eating here very often because of the prices. I think the idea of this place is great but I was really disappointed with the overall cost and amount of food. I don't eat meat so I enjoy having lots of veggies in my food. I got a create your own bowl and they gave me 1 2inch piece of kale, 3 halves of a brussel sprout and 2 bits of broccoli. Not being dramatic, that's literally what she gave me when I asked for those items. Confused, I asked her if she could give me more because there no way she thought those tiny piece of veggies were enough. The girl was new so I thought she was just nervous. She literally gave me on tong scoop more which double my tiny pieces before. I let it go and just decided to add more of other veggies. So I added corn, garbanzo beans and carrots. I get to the counter. The manager asks what extra I added and the girl said "she had 5 extras" so she added $5 to my order ($.99 per extra) I was surprised because the only extras I got was asking the girl to give me an actual portion size scoop with her tiny tongs (they're like bite size appetizer tongs to give you a visual). If you're going to charge someone for an extra of something that's fine, but actually give them enough of a serving FIRST. I'm not expecting a large ladle size scoop but it needs to be more than those tiny tongs you guys use. I went ahead and paid for it, the food was okay but it was definitely not what I expected and I was at home making a snack 1.5 hours later. Huge ripoff. For starters, they use the smallest tongs possible for your add-ins. If you want extra anything, it's atleast .99 cents. Second, for any meat you add to your salad, it's strictly 1 scoop which was the equivalent of a tablespoon.
