    Avocado BLT Sandwich

The service was poor the two ladies were very rude and rushing. the blt sandwich has tiny pieces of bacon on it and they barely put any. Who throws a pickle in a bag like this..

Love love LOVE this place! I never have to wait in a line, and the staff is always super friendly and helpful. They let me taste test a new dressing they had called "Green Goddess" and I wasn't expecting that! There's never been an unsatisfactory moment in this place or with their food. They're continuously expanding their menu, and for the better!

Anya M. was my server and she did an excellent job at hospitality, customer service, & preparing my food to go! I had a Farmhouse Salad with additional toppings (sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, and wonton chips). The Apple Cider Vinaigrette was was best! Loved the whole salad, everything was fresh! Thanks Saladworks & Staff, I will be back in the near future.

This didn't last long at all! They were very overpriced! And this location isn't even open anymore!

My daughter enjoyed a gym drink and my husband a nonalcoholic beer. We share some menu items. Tomato bisque soup spectacularly creamy and delicious. Clam chowder was really good. Lots of clams. Louis salad with a ton of shrimp. The greens are fresh and I loved the dressing. The little hearts of Palm were and added touch that was Enjoyed. We chose the salad that had chicken salad, tuna, salad, and egg salad. They were all equally tasty. The service was impeccable. What a wonderful experience before heading to the garden of the Gods.

The poached shrimp was honestly a rip off for only four shrimp for $29. Should've just waited for Sunday brunch the next day, lol. Cocktails were great! The asparagus with the peppered filet mignon was very delicious, just not enough stalks. Potatoes were boring - maybe add roasted garlic? A bit too much peppercorn on the crust. Caesar salad was good, but standard. I think it would be better if the Parmesan were shavings, the croutons were crumbles, and fresh cracked pepper was offered. Pork chop was good, cabbage should've been cooked more. Love the addition of Spätzle. ~$380 including 3 alcoholic drinks. I would come back, just for lunch instead.

On a small road trip from Denver en route to The Broadmoor, we decided to skip the predictable…read morechain shops and seek out something with a bit more character. A quick search led us to Sacred Ground Café, quietly tucked into Cheyenne Canyon yet conveniently located just off Cheyenne Boulevard. It felt like a hidden gem--secluded enough to feel special, but easy enough to find without effort. As we pulled up, we immediately noticed the charm of the historic building, proudly bearing the year 1907 on its façade. You can't help but wonder about the stories those walls could tell. The parking situation is a bit tight, with limited spaces directly in front of the café, but manageable if you arrive at a quieter hour. Just outside, there's an adorable covered patio complete with a bar area--clearly a lovely setting for warmer months or an afternoon gathering. Since it was early morning in February, we opted for the warmth of the indoors. Stepping inside, I was greeted by original wood floors and eclectic European-inspired décor that exuded cozy, unmistakable hygge vibes. The atmosphere felt intimate yet relaxed, with seating for roughly 30 guests. At that hour, only one other couple lingered in the dining room, adding to the calm, unhurried feel. We approached the counter and were instantly tempted by an array of pastries and house-made treats. Though there was a full breakfast menu available, time wasn't on our side, so we chose to share a muffin and ordered two lattes. The barista was warm and efficient, taking our order with ease and delivering the coffees directly to our table once ready. As we savored our lattes and muffin, a local family arrived for breakfast, greeting the staff in a way that suggested this was a regular ritual. It quickly became clear that Sacred Ground isn't just a café--it's a gathering place. From the posted events and menu offerings, it appears the space comes alive in the afternoons and evenings as well, offering more than just coffee to the community. Given its inviting atmosphere, thoughtful menu, and picturesque location, it's easy to see why this café has become a beloved neighborhood staple. I would wholeheartedly recommend that anyone passing through take a moment to pause at Sacred Ground Café. It's the kind of place that invites you to slow down--and one I'll certainly return to the next time I'm in the area.

We walked through some residential areas, and it's about a 15 min walk from the hotel. There is parking out front, and the restaurant itself is situated in a residential area. Walking in, we noticed how small, but cozy it is. There are five two-top tables, and three bigger tables for four-ish. We were greeted right away when we walked in, ordered from the counter, and were provided with a number to place on our table. We were both super excited to see that they are still offering eggnog lattes (1/17/26) - 10/10 highly recommend. On to the food - I had the traditional eggs Benedict, which came with plenty of hollandaise, and roasted asparagus. The dish itself was delicious, and also very reasonably portioned. We will absolutely be back to explore more of the menu!
