Ordered online for pickup a salad and a half salad half soup. The woman making the salads was on her phone the whole time. Our food was ready earlier than expected, which is a good thing, but unfortunately they forgot the dressing for both of the salads. Despite the dry salad they still tasted alright. The broccoli cheese soup looked watery but still tasted good. My salad also came with a roll which was decently fresh. Another qualm I have is that I substituted the chicken for tofu and was up charged $2. Overall I think this place was overpriced. read more

This location got a modern facelift and new management and I am in love. It's conveniently located in the Huntingdon Valley Shopping Center. I can't believe how much more seating there is now. It's just a really comfortable space and the colors on the wall are vibrant and welcoming. I ordered the Fire Roasted Cabo salad but substituted the chicken for tuna instead. The woman behind the counter making my salad was pleasant. She didn't skimp out on ingredients. There was a hefty amount of lettuce. She asked if I wanted a light, medium or heavy amount of dressing mixed in. I checked in when we were about to pay and an offer popped up for 10% off my order. It said I had to show an employee or manager at the location to redeem. I presented the offer and she told me it was valid for take-out orders only but she still honored it for me in store. Bathrooms were clean and fully stocked with soap, paper towels and toilet paper, too. read more

I came to Saladworks because I needed a quick meal. The salad was horrible. It smelled old, and didn't taste any better. The soup was good and the customer service was wonderful, but the smell and taste of the old salad was really disappointing. It wasn't worth the trip. read more

Stopped at this location yesterday on my way home. I got my usual Chicken Ceasars salad, added cucumbers. Asked for my dressing on the side. The girl filled 1 tiny cups (2oz) of dressing. I asked how come it was so small. She said they changed many things. I said oh wow, the 2 other locations I go to always have the bigger cups. I got (bought) 2 extra dressings. I usually get 2 total on the side but at the location on Welsh Rd and Bensalem they use the bigger 3 or 4oz dressing cups. For 2 extra dressings and added cucumbers My total came just under $20. I looked at my receipt and was charged 2.29 for the cucumbers (which was a very little amount ) and an additional $1.99 for each dressing. I have no problem with paying extra to add an additional topping or dressings but the prices at this location to add them is my issue is. Prices went up for everything. I get it but for a almost a $20 salad I'll pass. I'll never pay that much again. It was fresh and tasted good but just so little for the money. read more

Okay so first let me say that this is my 2nd time visiting Saladworks in my entire life ; and will more than likely be my last. The customer service and ambiance was great. Staff where polite and prompt, and the dinning area was clean and inviting. There was a good mix of music playing a little to loud for my comfort but not blasting. The food was okay. I had a custom salad. While it tasted okay there were something's that I couldn't over look. The grape (cherry) tomatoes where under ripe and therefore very bitter. The lettuce and spinach could have been fresher (11:30 am). Also I had bacon on my salad it was an addition I should have left off it was not only chewy and tough but added very little flavor to the actual salad. I had the strawberry lemonade drink (the one behind the counter) at first sip it tasted rather watery. How ever with a couple of stirs the taste improved. I'd would have liked my beverage and salad ingredients colder everything seemed room temperature. The bread was actually great soft and fresh. I did complete my entire meal. My three star rating is based off a combination of the amount I received, how well I enjoyed it and the cost. I've been to other salad places that are far cheaper and provide a fresher selection (Whole Foods or axis pizza to name a few). I'm slightly dissatisfied hence why I won't be visiting again the location it self did nothing wrong I'm just not a fan. But if you love salad and have the close to $20 to spend on a meal then this is a spot for you. read more

Was here for a create your own salad was disappointed the size was smaller then usual and the chicken was fatty im not sure if they had a bad batch of chicken today or what but it wasn't good. They used to make the salads bigger it seems like they got cheap with the ingredients. The price is always around 10.00 for a salad so I feel they shouldn't skimp on your salad if your paying the price of a salad. I was at the other salad works a couple says ago the salad was good but service was slow now I have to rethink what is more important a good salad or faster service. read more

This was the best Saladworks that I have ever been to. This location is bright and clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming. They have all sorts of soups, toppings, and sandwiches that other locations dont have. I was thoroughly impressed. Usually when I get the create your own salad, I feel rushed and pressured- But at this location, they were patient and helpful while I selected the toppings. Even the cashier was nice and helped me pull up my saladworks app. I dont live close but I will definitely travel to this location when I have a saladworks craving. Thumbs up! read more

We go here all the time and they are always so very kind to us. They remember what we like and ask how we are doing. This is by far the cleanest Salad Works that I have ever been to. Always greeted by smiling faces. Salad's are ALWAYS fresh, as are all the add-ins. The dressings are always chilled, sandwiches/panini's are made fresh. The wheat rolls are always warm and soft. Even the cookies are baked fresh a couple times a day. This is the most consistent restaurant we have ever been too, the couple that run the place are great and know how to retain customers. The dining room is always clean and has plenty of seating for all. Parking is good as well as it is at the end of a strip mall. read more

I have this peeve. It's when establishments have the actual centerpiece of what they sell IN their title, yet find a way to make that very one thing substandard (Buffalo Wild Wings also has this very same issue with me). SALAD Works. I'm thinking the precedence is on super fresh, clean, robust, and almost rustic greens with salad dressings that are not only unique in title but stand apart from other dressings. I'm looking for a variety of grilled, steamed, poached whatever have you meats. I mean listen- were the salads edible- absolutely- and for some that's all you need to know but again- when a title states basically what your company's trademark selling point is and you DON'T deliver for me- well Ben No Happy! I had the Mexican version of their salad and really- it was hapless, boring mess of lettuce, some beans, and cheese, barely any chicken, and an embarrassing Salsa-Ranch dressing which THEY recommended. It tasted as if someone accidentally dropped Tostitos Mild Salsa into a jug of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing. Again, boring, uninspired tastes for an otherwise nice looking restaurant. Will I be back? Nope- I'll entertain Whole Foods in Jenkintown for their garden variety which costs just about the same with WAY more real, nutritious options to choose from. read more

I hate to write this review. (I've been here more than 15 times.) In fact I've given this location the last three tries to prove to me that what had happened each time was just a simple mistake or possibly a fluke. The first incident: -Ordered a Tivoli Salad The woman in the front grabbed a pre-made salad with all its "Tivoli" ingredients in it from the fridge.... I told her that I didn't want that salad. I wanted a fresh salad. She looked at me and said it was the same thing... Hmmm... 2nd: I wanted to boycott them but decided to just go back out of convenience...(this was about 2 months later) ordered Tivoli again and noticed that the portions were MUCH Smaller then they're usual small portions. 3rd and last.... Portions are MUCH smaller than other Saladworks locations throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey...lol. The locations in the Willow Grove Mall and one in the NE off of Welsh and Blvd. have portions that are twice as large. I guess they have to be consistent in some area..lol. The owners are really great people. They always make it a point to get to know their customers. I don't often have a chance to come here, but when I do, they always know what I'm going to order. The salads are fresh and well made. This place can be pretty busy at different times of the day, but they always move fast; so there's not much of a wait. read more

We have gotten salads for quite some time from this location but the last few times the quality of the salads has gone down hill. The most recent take out order was awful. My salad had so little greens and other products as well as a piece of apple with a label on the skin. My husband's salad had cores of romaine and he got very sick that night. I come here every time I get a hankering for a salad. The fixings are fresh and the salads and soups are consistently good. I took away a couple stars because it's a bit pricey and I'm not a fan of the employees. They rush you and if your not ready they stand there and stare/glare at you. Napkins are handed out by server instead of being available as needed but that's a minor finding. This is a great choice if you're in a hurry for a healthy and tasty meal. So disappointed since they reopened under new ownership. Old owners delivered a consistently good product for years, not sure how/why they closed, but since reopening under new ownership, it just plain sucks. Went there today, my 4th visit since reopening, and each time was worse than the previous. Today was definitely the last time Ill ever be there. The size of the salads are very inconsistent, the quality of the ingredients is poor and the rolls are stale. Today I got brown lettuce, funky tasting chicken and a hard roll. I'm deeply saddened, I really used to love going here. No way this place stays open long term. If the previous owners couldn't turn a profit, these people definitely won't be able to. You're better off going to a super market salad bar. read more
