If I could leave negative stars I would. We went to this establishment at 7:30 pm and were met with a negative snappy staff member who was more concerned with closing an hour and a half early than serving edible food. I ordered a melt and a salad and by the time we got our food I open the melt and it's black. Charred. Both sides. I took one bite hoping it would be fine but it was straight char. I asked for a new melt and the girl that made it copped an attitude and continued slamming Tupperware and throwing a temper tantrum while rushing to make the melt. Genuinely the worst customer service experience I've had in awhile the vibes were abysmal in there. And the salad? Wet. Idk what they did but it was wet and homogenized and the croutons were so stale. I couldn't eat any of that I was so disappointed. Worst $50 I ever spent. Get better employees. read more

Pretty simple: Ordered two salads to go, got home and started eating them, both were completely wilted and full of water. The ingredients were tasteless and the chicken was dry. The staff clearly did not want to be there. The chicken pieces are so small and they barely give you any. At 400 cal be ready to go spend extra money elsewhere so you can have a meal. This place is in need of serious retraining and a cleaning. First off, the counter where the veggies/food is on display is a mess! There is ingredients all over the inside and in other ingredients, such as tomatoes in the banana pepper bin. Speaking of banana peppers, I think a 3 year old could slice better. They were sloppily cut, with seeds still in them. The employee that helped me had issues following the directions (which are hanging on the back of the display cooler) and they need to SLOW DOWN! I understand the concept of "fast food" but take alittle time and care, especially when there was no one else in line. Also, straight vinegar and balsamic vinaigrette are 2 different things. Salad didn't even taste fresh when I got it home, so it was chucked. I used to like this place, but now will think twice before returning- if it continues to stay open. read more

Love me some Saladworks, especially when they take expired coupons and offer discounts you can earn through their app. I've been coming here a few years now and haven't had bad service. At times the dining area looks like it could use some attention and the line is usually a few people deep regardless of when you go. On the plus side they're not skimpy and give you ample amounts of fixings in your salad. Since I usually get the half salad/sandwich I like that they sub the tomato on the avocado blt for more avocado at no extra charge. I will however always miss their spinach and artichoke potato soup. I hope they bring it back one day - it's the best soup ever! Don't forget that you don't have to get the bread and can choose chips instead. That's something they don't always offer so do ask. Sign up for their app before you go and start earning points towards special offers right away. I especially like that the app will give you the heads up a few weeks before your points expire. I've been going to Saladworks for quite some time now. I've ordered numerous items off the menu and want to give an honest review. Saladworks is perfect example a great idea, that was not executed well. Although I may have not had many negative experiences with the quality of their food although I know there are reviews that talk about that. My main issue is their customer service and online orders(what I often use). The last order I had from there, I ordered their baked potato soup with my order but when I arrived at home after picking up my order. I found that instead of recieving baked potato, I got cheddar and broccol, which I'm not a fan of. That was a disappointing order, especially considering the pricing of the meal. I'd think that for the price I was paying, I would receive service of equal value. I also have my information connected to my Saladworks account. Why have my personal contact information, but not use it when needed. This is not the first time, my order has been botched in some way and I truly wish for things there to improve. read more

For the second time in a row, I got salads with wilted lettuce plus the core of the lettuce head. After removing the bad lettuce, I was left with only half salads. I was ordering from a wonderful young lady who said her name was Addy or Abby (couldn't tell because the mask) She asked me what I would like and to be honest I wasn't quite sure yet. She waited patiently and guided me through what each menu option consist of. And when I had decided the young lady sprung into action and expertly made what I ordered. Just experienced the WORST customer service I think I have ever experienced. I am not one to write negative reviews but wow, buyer beware. Our team ordered lunch from salad works, paid via credit card and had one of our employees stop on her way in to pick it up. The food arrives and we realize we are missing multiple items, a salad, a soup, bread, and a drink. Mistakes happen, no big deal so we call the store we ordered from Salad Works on Centerville Road in Lancaster PA. First they inform me that we are incorrect that they gave us all of their food. Then we are told oh, we did miss a salad. I explain again what we are missing and I am told okay yes we see that. Then she asks if we would like to drive back to pick up our items, to which I respond we woudl rather not as we are working, we would like it delivered. The employee on the phone tells her manager we would like the missing items delivered to which the manager responds No, they can come pick it up. I inform her this was not our mistake and we do not wish to take more time out of our work schedules to drive back to their business for a mistake they made. The manager then gets on the phone and informs me their driver does not wish to drive the 3-5 minutes to our office and we can come pick it up. I state again it was not our mistake to which the manager tells me we should have checked to make sure our order was correct before leaving. My jaw obviously dropped at this point, never would I tell my customer to double check my work but apparently at Salad Works you need to ensure for them that they do their job correctly. She informs me that they will not be delivering our food and if I want she can refund me. Still shocked I say I guess we will not have lunch for our other employee and take the refund. To which I have not yet received. So we sit here eating in front of another employee who does not have our food and no refund and in shock at how badly we were treated by your MANAGER at Salad Works in Lancaster, PA on Centerville Road. read more

Constantly having to argue about the rolls. Sometimes they are out of them completely and got attitude when I asked if wife and I could split a cookie since they had no rolls and I don't eat potato chips. Next time told large soup doesn't come with a roll even though I know is does. This time told grain bowls don't come with rolls even though I know they do. Even when I showed pink haired supervisor (she never wears a name tag) that their own web site shows rolls come with grain bowl I was told "I just go by what the owner says". Went here for the first time. The location was convenient and the store was clean. The workers weren't all that friendly but it was very busy. Got a cobb salad and a roll to go for $9.29 + tax. When I got it home, I noticed that the plate was designed in such a way to make it look like you got more for your money so I decided to weigh the contents. Without the dressing and plate, it came up to 11 oz. That puts this salad at a cost of $13.40 lb, far more than you would pay for even at Whole Foods. Cost aside, the salad was ok. The flavor was good, however, the lettuce was wilted. To me the crispness makes a salad. Also, I got a small soup, 8 oz. for $4.69. Seemed pretty high to me. Not sure what the one and two star reviewers were looking for, but my salads have always been very generous in size with plenty of very fresh toppings. All of the soups I've tried were delicious. My only quibble is they aren't always really hot enough. The whole wheat rolls are always fresh and hot. Update: nothing has changed since my previous review except the soups are hotter. We had a field hockey tournament in the area and decided to stop in to give this place a try. So glad we did. The food was pretty good - fresh, flavorful with a good selection - but what made this place so special was the excellent customer service by the African-American young lady. She was so friendly and helpful! Since we aren't from the area, we asked what there is to do. She gave us several suggestions and even took time to write everything down for us! How nice was that?!?! I dined at this Saladworks before but since I started dieting I've eaten here 5 times in the last two months. It's clear that this location is under new management. Each of my recent visits have been met by excellent customer service and delicious salads. It's apparent that ingredients at Saladworks are prepared fresh. All of the ingredients have a nice fresh crunch to them! I especially enjoy the roasted brussels sprouts! They have tons of options to choose from. My salad was served with a warm roll and there were tons of drink options to accompany it! The store manager is usually there to ring me up and even though I don't eat there too often she remembers my order. I wouldn't order a salad anywhere else after having a Saladworks salad! I will definitely continue to choose the Centerville Saladworks when I want a healthy, delicious meal. read more

When you place an order online they never make it and they look at you like you are crazy when you walk in to pick up the things that you placed online so it would be ready when you get there and they assure you it won't happen again (it happened 3 times) and recently I got all the way home and they forgot my dressing for my salad. Got a panini and it took 30 minutes while the place wasn't even that busy. They messed up my order because they had no way of communicating by tickets or anything. Had to tell cashier what I ordered to pay, had to tell the lady making the panini what I got, and she still messed up. We have been to this Saladworks many times in the past and have always enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the service is really starting to go downhill and I think we will be switching to Zoup!, which just opened up at Park City. We arrived and found out there were no blue cheese crumbles (over half their salads contain blue cheese - I think if I were the manager I would have headed over to Giant just to tide things over until the shipment arrived) and my husband's panini was barely toasted, the cheese was not melted and the turkey was still cold! We also have one of their "frequent flier" swipe cards that NEVER swipes and so they always have to enter the number in...didn't happen this time - the cashier swiped it and I just checked, we didn't receive any points for this transaction. In addition, we have a three year old and I think it is great they have a kid's meal now - however you only get to pick three toppings (and that's a $6 meal).
