Just ate there now and it's like I questioned everything from drink to salsa to my meal. First the soda fountain was over flowing onto the floor, if someone was out checking the dining area, they would have noticed that and overfilling trash cans. No stickers on the teas, but by looking at the top I couldn't tell if it's been cleaned in days. Then my stack was burnt and had to eat around the corners or rip it off. By far one of the worst experiences I've had eating out. Servers felt like they didn't want me to be there, despite the mostly empty restaurant. On top of that the server gave me a minuscule portion of chicken. So small it felt like world war 2 rations. On top of that the chips were both too salty on some and not salty enough on other. This is the first time I have eaten at this location. The location near my house has been bad ever since it reopened. So I haven't been to a Moe's in a while. So I was shocked the menu has changed the names to protect the innocent. Still the same food but with basic names now. I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent and so was the sweet tea. So many locations cannot figure out how to make good sweet tea. If you enjoy a good Moe's. What could improve? Ummm just about everything! I think it is good sometimes but most times not. Problems is employee turnover creating an inconsistent experience each time I was there. Tried eating here a few more times over the past few months and the staff just can't seem to get it together. I learned the hard way to order online and half the time when I pick my order up they look at me like "We have an online order?" Foods also cold when I get back to work (I work 5 min away) even though you can specify what time you'll be in to pick up your food. The times I do order in line, the serving line is sloppy and staff don't seem to know how to portion the food. Salsa bar is either super clean and nice or sloppy and empty. They're always out of something so be ready to go without a certain meat or topping you wanted. I'd recommend going on Mondays when the burrito and drink combos are $6 and some change, otherwise it's not worth it. I'm going back to Chipotle. read more

The people working at the Lancaster Moe's are always friendly and fast. I don't understand the low star rating, it's literally a burrito you build yourself. I guess they could be mad about the food quality but I've always found it above average. It's a chain burrito store, and anyone that rates it low is comparing it to other burrito places in the city. I love Moe's!! Everyone who works here is super friendly, the food couldn't get any better, the place is CLEAN (something I'm very picky about), and I crave their queso almost 24/7. Also, their app is awesome. You get points each time you order and you redeem points towards cash to pay for a meal! (1000 points = 10 bucks) They also have "all you can eat tacos" for $8.99 on the first Friday of every month, I believe, as well as "Moe Monday's" which is a burrito, chips, salsa, and a drink for $6.99 every Monday. 10/10 they have the best rewards app out there! read more

Cleanliness is NOT a priority here. I have been here MANY times since I work nearby and EVERY time it has left me saying "I wish there was a manager who would set the standard" because everything is sloppily done with minimal personality. Example: Lack luster welcome cause they have to when you walk in... totally forgiven. But not letting the black beans or ground beef drain before putting that "Soup" in a crunchy taco, not forgiven. Also NOT FORGIVEN, not taking your gross gloves off before using the register.... the health department needs to take a look at that. Also, It's totally inconsistent so every time I order its different and I feel like when I ask for something whoever is placing items in a taco or in a bowl totally forgets how to hold utensils so again it turns out to be a gross mess. Husband and I decided to check this out yesterday. He was looking for Mexican and I wanted something fast. We used to frequent the beer distributor that was previously here and Moe's opening kinda snuck up on us. Inside the place was new and nicely decorated in a comtemporaryy style. After reviewing the menu I decided not to get anything. The menu itself was confusing. It would list for example Burritos - than the "names" of the burritos underneath with no explaination on the differences. This was the main reason I choice not to order because I had no idea what I would get. My husband however did order a burrito and proceeded to the prep area. There were about 6 employees there making each item to order similar to a Subway's. There were three people getting worked on in front of us and two behind us. It must have took him a good 15 minutes to go thru the entire line of food prep which I thought was excessive given the number of employees outnumbered the patrons. His order for one burrito came to $8.15 with no drink. It included a bowl of chips but no dip whatsoever which I found to be cheap. Although his burrito looked nice and thick it was because they scooped all the inners in one and rolled it up thick. It looked more like a thick roll of meat vs a burrito. He had a hard time fitting his mouth around it and said it lacked any kind of flavor. The chips were literally a waste, just something to fill the basket. I saw others ordering tacos for $3.99 a pop - the same size as you'd get from Taco Bell for a buck tops. Overall for $8.15 he left hungry. Was the place clean? Yes, but with that being said it was the only thing it had going for it. Would we go back? Most likely no. read more

Surprised by the low star average. Though, I should consider its location. People outside of town tend to be a bit..picky. Anyway, I was very impressed with Moe's. The menu has way more options than the competition. I would say this place is Taco Bell with a touch of class, and that is a huge compliment from me because I love Taco Bell. I got the carnitas "stack" which was exactly a Crunchwrap Supreme with way better ingredients. The queso sauce is delicious of course and all of the ingredients were fresh. They should call it Slow's not Moe's ... it's littery a running joke with everyone who lives around the area on how slow they are. There can be 4 people in line in front of you and it might take like 25 mins before you get to pay for your food. It doesn't matter who's working there, they just don't have speed on their mind. They are incapable of keeping the ingredients separated. Scooping the guac, there was at least a teaspoon of cheese in there. I get that they're busy, but really, how much more time does it take to keep the prep area tidy? I also saw employees wiping their hands onto their dirty pants and scratching their faces, then preparing food. I can only imagine what they do when no one is looking. As others have commented, I've never been there when something hasn't been completely neglected. Either the drinks were empty, the salsa bar depleted or main ingredients not replenished. I had to ask for more of every ingredient they put in my burrito and it was the smallest one I have ever gotten there. I could see you doing that on Moe Mondays but when I am paying full price, put some food in there. We also had to ask for more chips when they offered us a mere portion. Just a standard higher priced Tex-Mex chain, Not a lot of choices, Salads, bowls, wraps quesadillas and tacos. Plus's free chips and salsas and a gazillion choices of sodas. Downers, closes at 9pm on weeknights (or earlier) if they feel like it, 10pm Friday and Saturday. Better get there half hour before closing because they will be cleaning up 15 before hand. read more

I was shocked: 40 minutes in line for cold, unmelted nachos at a dirty table. Nothing had any taste, not even the nacho chips or the the white watery queso. Literally, less than 5 minutes and a lot of the chips fell totally limp over my fingers. The steak was shriveled up and had some, very weird taste. We asked for the manager, and the cashier said there was none, at first. After asking for him the second time, they said he was very busy, and would take a long time! After trying to excuse the food, the manager decided to refund us our expense, the cashier starting yelling at him, asking why are you giving him a refund?!!
